Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Breathtaking Views. The cabin was very comfortable. The beds were very good. The cabin could use a deep cleaning but overall was clean. The furniture in the living room was comfortable but a bit worn. Was nice having a washer and dryer but the dryer took forever to dry. We really enjoyed our stay and the management company was fantastic with their communication with us. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Overall we had a very memorable vacation and loved the cabin. Would recommend using Elk Springs resort and renting this cabin. The view is amazing.

Breathtaking Views Review

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice but it's on a very steep incline. You are not getting up this hill in rain or snow without a 4-wheel drive. It does need to be cleaned better before guest arrival. Please make sure to read all of the information about the theater room.
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 22 set 2026

Clean, quiet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice cabin. The view is becoming obstructed by trees but it's still pretty. The furniture was comfy. The dressers, tables, etc, have a lot of scratches and wear and tear but, everything was clean. The beds are old and creak when you move bit still drcently comfortable. My daughter loved the hot tub. Nice to have the games and theater room. The dining room lighting is horrible! The floors are very clean! It's very close to other cabins. Nice, easy drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would stay with Elk Springs again but, maybe in a cabin with less creaky beds. Overall still a very nice cabin.

Beautiful Cabin in need of some attention

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself is beautiful, views were amazing, and location was perfect. However, the cabin needed some love. The blankets, sheets, floors, windows, and balconies all were dirty. I recommend hiring a new cleaning company as we cleaned better during our stay there than the condition the cabin came in. We were not able to sit outside on the balconies due to the infestation of carpenter bees, digging constant holes in the wood and flying around. I did message and I received a call that they would fix the problem the following day, however no one cared to call back.
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 19 mag 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful cabin, views, and location, but we are very sorry that the cleanliness and balcony conditions fell short of expectations. What you described regarding the bedding, surfaces, and carpenter bees is concerning and not the standard we aim to provide. We also apologize for the lack of follow-up after your message—clear communication and timely resolution are important, and we regret that we didnt deliver that here. Your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate review so these issues can be properly addressed. We truly hope to have a better opportunity to serve you.

The Southern Griswold Adventure

We had fun in Gatlinburg. Cowboy Way cabin was spacious and just as advertised. Close enough to the parkway but far enough to be quiet. The staff from Elk Springs were very responsive and helpful.

AMAZING VIEWS

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this cabin was perfect for our family, the views were spectacular! I would like to give some feedback for improvements, there weren’t enough towels for both the hot tub and showers, and when washing the towels that were available the dryer takes hours to get the towels dry. Also the bathtub jets need cleaned, I’m assuming they just aren’t used very often, but when running a bath for my toddler there was a lot of gunk in the water from the jets
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 14 ott 2025
Thank you so much for your kind words—we're delighted to hear the cabin was a perfect fit for your family and that you enjoyed those spectacular views! We also really appreciate your helpful feedback regarding the towels, dryer, and bathtub jets. We're sorry for any inconvenience this caused during your stay. We’ll have our maintenance and housekeeping teams look into the dryer performance and deep clean the bathtub jets to prevent this from happening again. Guest feedback like yours is invaluable in helping us maintain the quality of our cabins, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it.
