Beautiful home. Was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Large deck with covered area was a bonus. Management office was accommodating and friendly. Where the home was advertised as a single bedroom for two, we would have preferred to know in advance that the house was larger but the 2nd floor would be roped off and off limits to guests.

The cabin was nice but the thermostat was controlled at 77 degrees. It was very warm in the cabin during the day and I was trying to escape the heat from texas. Exacerbating the issue was the windows were not effective in allowing air flow

Tranquility

What an awesome place to stay for a vacation beautiful cottage, not far from the valley nestled in tall trees in the flowing river in the backyard. Definitely would recommend.

Our Yosemite visit was delightful. We didn't know that the drive to the Yosemite Valley area was about 45 minutes. Nevertheless, the cabin was very nice.

We loved everything about this property! Exactly as described, almost! It’s a big family home that they rent the first floor only. So the outside pictures look deceiving. But it’s a first class one bedroom suite with a massive deck that is super inviting. Enjoyed it so much and if we are in the area again, this will be home! It’s an hour to the Valley, but so close to everything! Perfect!

Comfortable option for visiting Yosemite National Park

The cabin was very comfortable. The first floor is rented out. Spacious living area, nice bedroom and bathroom. Great amenities. The non-stick pans are getting a bit tired, but everything else is terrific. Only a few miles to the Mariposa Grove of giant Sequoia trees. Horseback riding is on the main street leading to the cabin. About a 30-minute drive to the Tunnel View of Yosemite Valley. Very quiet when we were there. We'd love to return.

36 Larkspur Lair

Great public space. Very large. Bedrooms adequate for sleeping and luggage holders provided. Detergent provided for washing machine as well as ziplock bags, foil in kitchen. Things that are easy to forget. Tried to operate TV one time and it wasn't operating but wifi worked for tablets, when needed. We weren't there to watch tv. Enjoyed the large, beautiful front porch every time we came home from an adventure. Cool and welcoming. Definitely a great place to stay in Yosemite.

Great Location

The only part of the cabin that we had access to was the downstairs, but there was plenty of room for the two of us. It was easy to get to and just what we needed.

Great place

The place was perfect. Very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The bed is comfortable. The wrap around porch is wonderful - we sat out there every evening enjoying the sunset and wildlife.

Reeked of pork and hot hot hot

The cabin smelled (reeked) of pork and there was NO air conditioning. It's crazy to pay this much and not even have air conditioning. Pretty basic. We were uncomfortable and opening a window so a bear could smell our food and crawl in wasn't an option. Over priced and under delivered. When I looked at it on line I saw nothing that said there was no AC. At least have that in large bold print.

Cedar 7 Excellent!

This was our first time staying at the Redwoods in Yosemite and it won't be our last. The Cedar 7 lodge exceeded all of our expectations. We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and dining al fresco on the spacious wrap around deck. The cabin was so cozy and inviting, it felt like home!

In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge (formerly The Wawona Hotel), go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather. Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining.
