La nostra casa sulla spiaggia offre il meglio dei due mondi: Quartiere tranquillo nord-end e nei pressi della bella spiaggia di Mare e famosa Promenade! Si può camminare e / o in bicicletta ovunque in città da qui.

Il Cottage ha belle immagini costiere in tutto. Un comodo divano di grandi dimensioni (funziona benissimo per dormire), una sedia di grandi dimensioni e due sedie a dondolo / poltrone siedono nel soggiorno, che vanta anche un camino elettrico, TV a schermo piatto da 40 'con DVD. WiFi in tutto. Il tavolo da pranzo può ospitare 8, e la cucina è ben fornito. Tutti i letti sono dotati di materassi e lenzuola confortevoli, oltre a una zona notte aggiuntiva nella camera Family con un letto queen-size con lenzuola e due imbottiti per dormire comodamente fino a 9 persone. Lavanderia, giochi, libri e film sono disponibili per gli ospiti. La camera familiare ha divano in pelle, comode sedie, TV a schermo piatto, camino elettrico, tavolo da ping pong e bersaglio magnetico.

I materiali di consumo includono pistole a vongole per quelle speciali basse maree così come gli attrezzi a granchio e un fornello per granchi all'aperto. La nostra casa è di tre isolati dal luogo più semplice per crab- ponte 12th Avenue. Basta inserire le vostre pentole, tornare a casa per rilassarsi e tornare a piedi un paio d'ore più tardi per la cena! C'è anche un barbecue all'aperto Weber e personale pozzo del fuoco all'aperto nel cortile privato recintato. Legna da ardere in dotazione! C'è anche una casetta per i bambini! Ci sono sedie a sdraio, una coperta da spiaggia per la sabbia per farti stare comodo sulla spiaggia e giocattoli di plastica per i bambini immagazzinati nel capanno.

Tutti amano la spiaggia sotto il sole, ma in quei giorni di pioggia, non manca di attrazioni. In aggiunta ai servizi / attività al Cottage, la città di mare offre l'Acquario, gallerie, giochi arcade, un outlet, un cinema, un centro ricreativo con due piscine coperte riscaldate e una splendida nuova biblioteca con teatro dei burattini per i vostri bambini . Il Centro Congressi dispone di varie attività durante tutto l'anno.

Spring Break Oregon Coast

Seaside was enjoyable, as much as you wanted to do. The house's amenities were cozy and fun when the spring rain, hail and thunder rolled through! We appreciated the well appointed home, so many basic supplies really help the week to smoothly go by.

Perfect!

Our family enjoyed our 6 day stay in the Cottage by the Sea. The home was cozy, well maintained, and in the perfect location. We enjoyed the Hot Tub and all the amenities the home had to offer. Kathy and Wayne were wonderful hosts. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Everything you would need in cottage by the sea

Two Families shared this house on a visit to seaside for a cheerleading competition. The property was clean and inviting, a lovely beach theme throughout the house. It had lots of places to sleep including a bassinet if needed (we didn't). Lots of extra sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Fans including a boot warmer were available if needed. There were lots of board games and movies and the tvs had basic cable but were set up to hook up to your own subscriptions. Fireplace tv stands were a nice ambiance hanging out in the evening. The kitchen was stocked for all your cooking needs. Outside was cutely decorated with the interior beach theme continued outside. A firepit, table with umbrella, hot tub and a cute play house adorned the privately gated front yard. It rained the whole time so didnt get to enjoy any but a dip in the beautiful hot tub. The house was a few houses down from the beach access and the host had a supply of beach toys (we didnt get a chance to use). The house was about a 15 minute walk to downtown. The host was very communitive with detailed emails and binders in the home on how to access and use everything, including emergency numbers incase anything went wrong during the stay. There was also a gift from the host and a guest book to sign. Overall i would definitely recommend this place to stay at and would love to book it again in the future.

Beautiful cozy home with all the amenities we needed. Made use of the ping pong table and hot tub. I would definitely stay here again!

We are retired (both worked in education - Neakahnie, Sweet Home and Riverdale School Districts). We've been married for 32 years and lived in Lake Oswego OR for 17 years before moving to Woodland WA. We currently live in LaCenter WA. Wayne grew up in Pilot Rock (near Pendleton) OR and Kathy grew up in NE Portland OR (David Douglas HS). In blending our families, we are blessed with six kids (ages from 42 to 59), grandkids (ages 9 to 36)- and six great grandkids. We have kids and grandkids on the Northern OR coast- Nehalem/ Manzanita area and Cannon Beach- and kids and grandkids in Lake Oswego OR, Hood River OR, Vancouver WA.

When the opportunity to purchase Cottage by the Sea came up, it was perfect timing and the perfect location. Life changes (maturing issues) keep us from traveling as much as we have in the past. And one day, we may move to the Cottage full time. We've both lived at the coast year-round and have always loved it --yes, even the rain! Seaside offers wonderful amenities for all ages (including medical--important for that maturing thing). It's close, but not too close, to some of our kids. And what a great place to have family and friends come visit and play with us. :)

We are active, social people and love the outdoors, walking, fresh air and projects. Between our two homes, we have lots of opportunity for all of those things. Right now, we'll be at the coast in between sharing it with people like you. We are thankful and appreciative for the opportunity to do just that.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Having lived on the north Oregon coast in the past, we were very familiar and comfortable with the Seaside area. Cottage by the Sea was a recently activated VRBO rental when we purchased it in October 2014. The main cottage was built in the 1920's and used to connect to the yellow house on the corner with another cottage in between and was run as a motel. Around 2008, the Cottage underwent a major remodel with the addition of a garage, laundry room, 3rd bedroom, 2nd full bathroom, and dining room. There were some upgrades that we wanted to do (and did!) to make it 100% comfortable for us and therefore also for you!

Our projects included converting the garage into a wonderful 14x22 fully carpeted, insulated, heated family room; carpeting the living room in the main cottage; adding a new storm door with pull down screen to allow more natural light in living room as well as air circulation when desired; new door and storm door (also with pull-down screen) in dining room; upgraded shower heads; support rails in bathrooms (maturing thing again!); quiet toilet seats (weird- perhaps, but important to us); new concrete walkway to front door and around hot tub; completely fenced in yard and other smaller amenities.

We make sure to keep it updated, stocked and ready for us AND YOU to enjoy. We hope you love it as much as we do!
