Great little cabin for 2 people. Very quiet, well equipped, super clean. The address was a little hard to see after dark, house numbers need to be closer to the road. A king size bed & new bedroom pillows would have made it perfect! Otherwise great place & close walk to shopping & restaurants

Black Bear Cottage is an excellent place to stay while visiting Estes Park. The rock fireplace lights with the flip of a light switch and provides a warm ambiance. The view from the back deck is outstanding and it is so quiet one can hear the breeze rustling through the pine needles. The cottage is clean and the hosts provide everything one could need for a comfortable stay.

This was my 4th year in a row staying in this cabin and I've loved it every time! Nancy is absolutely wonderful and staying in Black Bear cabin while enjoying all that Estes Park and the Rockies has to offer is truly a magical and peaceful experience. 10/10 highly recommend! I will keep coming back!

A wonderful space for our Estes Park stay and RMNP exploration! This was our second stay at Black Bear cottage, and the amenities were perfect again. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, laundry facilities, and cozy living room with gas fireplace. All communication was prompt and thorough, and the cabin is spotless.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed my time. The place was exceptionally well kept, clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the host had thought of all the little details, which made the experience feel easy and welcoming. The location was also great, being close to downtown, yet quiet and relaxing. The only minor issues were that the pillows were either quite hard or too floppy for my preference, which unfortunately gave me a bit of a crick in my neck, and it was a little confusing at first knowing which driveway to enter since the driveways are shared by several residents. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location close to town with the feel of being away from it all. Well-appointed, precise instructions, charming decor. We loved watching the hummingbirds from our breakfast table every morning and sitting on the deck enjoying the view in the evening. Favorite spots to eat were Bird and Jim’s, Park Tavern, Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ and The Hive. Be sure to see Bear, Nymph, Dream and Emerald Lakes. And take the drive up Trail Ridge Road to the Alpine Visitors Center. Just be done before noon to miss any stormy weather that rolls in.

The cabin was cozy and comfy and nicely decorated for the holidays. We spent a lot of time resting and relaxing by the fire, which we loved!

Wonderful, very clean and cozy cabin! Just right for the two of us. Easy communication with hosts. Cabin had everything we needed - lots of little extras not always found in other places (tissues, bottled water, snacks, guestbook with great details, local brochures, etc.). All the important things spot on: perfect location, comfy bed (bad back peep slept very well), good shower, plenty of hot water, towels, amenities, etc. A welcoming "home" to return to after long days exploring Colorado.

Fantastic stay. Great place, very very clean, completely furnished with everything you could want. A short walk to center of town and less than 10 minutes to RMNP. I would definitely recommend this place.
