Yup, clean is paramount to having happy renters who return again. We found that the game room had something for everybody, regardless of age. The location was part of why we bought this cabin (after looking at 37 others). We know that several of our renters return for graduations, football games etc at Appalachian State University which means we are close by but avoid the traffic of Boone You were great renters and we would like to have you return again sometime. Natalia, We are glad that you found Alpine Log Cabin comfortable. Comfort is key when providing a wonderful experience for our renters--nobody likes a lumpy bed! Both Forrest and I are OCD which means that we we want to have all our information ducks in a row. That turns out to benefit both us and our renters who find the answer to their questions in our white binder. That keeps them from having to make a desperation call to us. Hello Travis, There are very few things about the cabin that we cannot control. One of those is the size of the kitchen. In our defense, we did not build it. The other thing we have no control over is weather. I wish for your sake. it had been sunny with clear skies. As for the foosball table, but while not regulation size, it is just designed for fun. but is dwarfed by the size of the pool table and air hockey table. Another reason we chose it is for the very reason you stated --it is easy to get to. Roads to other houses were quite treacherous. We try to present a cabin that pleases everybody with plenty of things for them to do if the weather is bad. 98% of our reviewers give us 5 stars. We are glad that you enjoyed yourselves. We have tried to make the cabin homey so vacationers can move in and start having fun. Hello Kim, It has been one of my missions to make sure we could provide our renters with any ingredient that they needed to cook a meal but forgot to pack. I am glad that the weather gave you a gift you probably weren't expecting. Sudden snow flurries are very common in the Blue Ridge Mountain. Luckily you rented a place that would let you enjoy it. I am also glad that you appreciated the thorough instruction manual. Some renters feel the mamual is overkill but we think anytime a renter doesn't need to make a desperation call to us, is a win-win for both them and us. You were wonderful renters and treated the cabin as if it were your home-our cleaning crew loved your kindness. Please consider coming back to Alpine Log Cabin in the future to enjoy a different kind of weather. Carole
