Fate una passeggiata per la spiaggia e Packery Chanel. Pescate dal molo nel canale del condominio di diciotto unità, nuotate nella piscina, andate alla BoatHouse per un brunch domenicale o rilassatevi nel patio. Tanti modi per godere di questo piccolo paradiso di vacanza. I will stay here every time! Super clean, excellent host communication, she always provides a few snacks, coffee pods and even creamer which is just a nice little touch on the already nicely maintained space. Great location to beach and restaurants. Plus, the bed is very comfy!

The condo was nice enough for my wife and myself, kind of smallish but certainly adequate for our needs. We were on a fishing trip for Packery Channel and Bob Hall Pier and the location was perfect for easy access to those areas.The pool was very nice and well maintained and the fishing dock was a plus. I did some casting of lures from the dock but didn't catch anything and that's just fishing, no fault of the dock.The only issues that we had, and they were just our thoughts, were the lighting inside the condo was not very bright. It was adequate for me but my wife has some sighting problems and it was dark for her. My issue, and it may not be a issue for anyone else, was there was no outside water rinse area, or at least I did not find it. I did not convey this to the host, so I don't know if there was available rinsing or really not any and I just didn't find it.Overall, it's a nice little condo for a quick few days stay, convenient to everything in the area, correctly priced, well maintained and clean and it was quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place!

We arrived and the unit was very convenient to find and in town near restaurants and grocery store, short drive to beach. The unit was very clean and very inviting, super comfy bed, great water pressure in show and excellent AC throughout. We found our new spot to stay when we are not staying in Port A. Excellent host and just a very well maintained property.

Such a great vibe, and set up! A lot of thought and consideration was put into this unit! I would definitely stay again. Only thing I didn't like was the brightness at night at the pier, but that's definitely not a deal breaker.

Perfect Honeymoon Get-A- Way

Doesn't look like much on the outside but the inside is so cute and all you need for a couples vacation. Water pressure in shower was amazing. Quick trip around the corner to the beach, which was beautiful. Thankful for the beach chairs and umbrella to use at the beach as well. Laundry room and pool was a plus too. All in all, we're already talking about coming back. Our honeymoon week was full of blessings.

This little condo was perfect for our plans. It was close to so many things in the area to do. The beach umbrella and chairs really came in handy for our beach day and made our pictures look like we were stylin' ! We sampled nearby restaurants. The area is quiet and we felt safe the entire time. We had everything we needed in the condo and it was very cutely decorated. The only thing I would have enjoyed would have been a wide bench or place to lay my suitcase. We made use of the closet and the hangers but a little more open clear space would have been good. No complaints though.

Little disappointed

Although the unit was clean and the kitchen had snacks, etc. we did have an issue with the tv working correctly...we did contact host and did eventually get to work. However the bed, although the mattress and pillows were comfortable when we sat/laid on it we felt like we were in my grandmothers bed, meaning that it moved, would shake and squeak with every movement. And finally, the coffee provided was a flavored coffee and my husband will not drink that, though I did appreciate the effort. Thank you.

Not what we expected

Although the interior of the property was cute, clean and comfortable, the exterior and location left much to be desired. Compared with the surrounding area, this location was extremely run-down and in much need of TLC. We were a bit shocked and uncertain as we pulled into the parking lot, as the buildings all around Sandollar I are well-kept and lovely. The pool is approximately the size of what you would put in your backyard, with very limited seating available. Other guests were sitting by the pool (so no chairs available when we arrived), and it was like being at an intimate pool party where you don't know anyone. Very awkward. The gate to the dock was locked with a 'Private Property Do Not Enter' sign, so there was no walking or fishing from the dock. The back patio of the unit is a tight area staring at a large wooden privacy fence, so not super pleasant to sit out there and relax, either. The walls of the property are thin, as well, resulting in being woken several times by voices, doors slamming, a tv left on, etc.... The distance to the beach was further than anticipated, making it impossible to walk down while carrying all the necessities of a day on the beach. Luckily, there is a parking lot close by with public access, so it wasn't too inconvenient to load up the car and drive down. I must add that the owner was very pleasant and responded quickly to any questions we had. We had very high hopes for our special weekend, but unfortunately, were quite disappointed.

I am really very disappointed to read this negative review, it is my first :' ( This is not a new property, the condo community was built in 1985 and it is exactly 1/4 of a mile to the beach. Our maintenance man keeps the property and pool areas neat and clean at all times. It is true that is is nestled in between much newer, MUCH more expensive properties, I think we are VERY fortunate to have such an affordable property in such a GREAT location! It is a good idea to take the car on down to the beach, it's no fun to lug all of your goodies that you'd like to take with you, even a single block in the hot sun seems like a long haul. There are two beach chairs stored in the closet that my guests are more than welcomed to take to either the beach or the pool. The gate to the fishing pier has a childproof lock on the top and the private property sign is to discourage folks who are not guests at the residence. It is a small condominium community as there are only a total of 18 units and like most condominiums they are connected and occasionally a loud noise can be heard. Best regards, Tracie Romel

It was better than expected. I am not going to lie when we got there the building itself looked questionable but once we got inside it was exactly like the images. Don’t let the cover of this book fool you. It’s a beautiful and well kept living space, it just has that touch of nature beauty that you acquire from living so close to the beach

Nice, quiet, convenient.

Close to restaurant with live music, grocery store, beach. You can fish from dock, then jump right in the pool.

Beach stay

The property was very clean but kinda of small feeling since the ceilings are low. We appreciate the water/snacks left from the host. The bed is firm which was fine for us. I would suggest adding another light somehow near the shower, it’s alil on the darker side but do-able. My only complaint is the fridge/freezer, both parts are clean but held a fishy odor that may needs to be looked into. The outside of the complex is outdated compared to the neighboring condos. The pool was very clean and clear!

Super cute and comfy

Condo was clean, very well stocked and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy. Loved fishing at the lighted pier at night. Close to the beach. The pool felt really good after a day at the beach. Nice area. We felt very safe. All in all, it was a perfect sister trip!

Sand dollar I S. Padre Island

The unit was clean and attractive. There is no laundry facility, but there is a laundromat close by. The bed desperately needs a new mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really wish you had asked me, because there is actually a laundry facility right out by the pool area, I'm sorry that you were not able to locate it on the property. Relaxing get away!

Cute and convenient place to stay. I enjoyed walking to the beach everyday and hanging out on the fishing dock. Location was peaceful and the condo was a adorable and very clean. Bed was super comfy. Can't wait to stay there again!

Beach Place Padre Island

The property is as advertised: fine for 2 people, clean, comfortable bed, main floor, AC works (which matters in this location in July), wifi is OK, nothing particularly fancy, which is meant as praise as that's what I was looking for. It's 1/2 mile walk from the main beach and 10 miles from the entrance to the National Seashore in the midst of a lot of condos and a couple of hotels. My only issue with the place was the over the top security deposit: $1700 is high for a place that rents for ~100 a night for a 4 night stay. I've rented several VRBOs/Air BnBs/etc. in the US and abroad and even entire houses have never had to pay anything even close to this. Yes it's the high season, but it's still excessive. The entire deposit was returned on my credit card a week after I left.

Hi John, I apologize, I did not know that VRBO was charging the additional Security deposit, I have since spoken with them and was able to get it removed and it is now optional but not required.

Corpus Christi has been mine and my brother's home ever since we were kids. As children our fondest memories were of our fishing trips to North Padre Island and playing on the beach. We decided to purchase this little Island get away so that when Jerriel and his wife come down to visit they will be able to defrost and relax in the sun.
