Il tuo rifugio privato su dieci acri di terreno boscoso con 500 piedi di caldo lungomare estivo. Una vacanza unica nel suo genere con vista mozzafiato sulle montagne olimpiche.

Goditi un breve sentiero per la spiaggia dove troverai sedie a sdraio, giubbotti da nuoto e giochi d'acqua. Puoi noleggiare i nostri kayak e attraversare la baia con le foche residenti o esplorare la terra della foresta nazionale a tuo piacimento. Divertiti a pagaiare fuori al nostro bacino di nuoto / galleggiante o nuotalo in estate e goditi la bellezza. Percorri le biciclette lungo la strada di campagna fino a Quilcene o semplicemente fai una passeggiata nella zona e ammira la bellezza sbalorditiva.

Incantevole casa in stile chalet a tre piani con stufa a legna, splendide pareti e soffitti in legno di pino, tre camere da letto con un castello a castello di quarta camera da letto attaccato alla casa. Abbiamo recentemente aggiunto una cabina letto che sembra uscita da un libro di fiabe. Può ospitare 2-4 persone e costituisce un'ottima opzione per la quinta camera da letto. Ci sono tre bagni, una sala giochi con biliardino, air hockey, giochi e film, 2a TV / VCR / DVD e stereo, quindi porta i tuoi CD! Ci sono anche due divani pieghevoli per amici extra e un letto Aero per amici extra. Goditi i divertenti arredi cabina / lodge.

Godrai del grande ponte con barbecue a propano e carbone. Siediti nella vasca idromassaggio che si affaccia sull'acqua o meraviglia i sentieri della proprietà, rilassati sull'altalena della veranda e goditi i meravigliosi spazi aperti al meglio.

Non dimenticare di esplorare la zona. L'escursionismo è fantastico, Sequim, Port Townsend e Port Angeles sono a breve distanza dall'Hideaway. Puoi goderti il rifugio tutto l'anno perché le attività sono infinite!

La casa è decorata per le vacanze. Dicembre è un mese divertente da visitare. Vieni a goderti le decorazioni con amici e familiari.

Gorgeous place! Honestly the photos don't do it justice. The lot is massive, with peaceful forest surrounding, well apportioned rooms, and lots of sleeping arrangements. Great communication, ideal setting. We saw otters multiple times down at the beach, as well as obviously the many seals! FYI the walk down and back to the beach is not easy, it can be challenging for folks with limitations. Our 70 something year old dad couldn't make it down unfortunately!

This rustic cabin in the woods, outfitted with modern amenities, was the perfect base camp for our hiking team of 11. It's close enough to the Olympic trails and the larger nearby towns for supplies, but tucked away on the slope of a beautiful peninsula with its own trails and beach access right outside the door. The local wildlife added to the charm — dozens of seals kept us company with their snorts, growls, hisses, and honks from the water below. Plenty of space for the whole group, and incredibly relaxing after a long day on the trail. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is magical! There were about 20 seals in the bay, and it was a treat to watch them frolic a listen to their noises. We took the kayaks south around the point and saw about 15 bald eagles perched in the trees. The house itself is beautiful with multiple decks to hang out or dine on. Everything is well stocked and she even left nice touches like ingredients for s’more making and popcorn. Lots of room for a large group!

A group of friends and I had a cozy getaway and this fit the ambience perfectly! There were enough sleeping spots for 16 of us and the patio table was perfect for group dinner. The main living room space is a bit tight for everyone, so keep that in mind if you're planning any big group activities. Otherwise, there was plenty of space for hanging out, going to the beach, and playing games. Another thing to note is that footsteps and noises from the main floor are easily heard downstairs, but we were generally on the same sleep schedule so it didn't matter much. We loved the separate cabin, so cute! Martha was a very communicative host.

The property is beautiful, easy to find, and set up very well for a large party. I brought so much of my own things and that wasn’t necessary. It was completely stocked with all dishes, utensils, towels, blankets, and spices. There is even grills and a smoker set up with plenty of propane.

The host was very responsive and provided all the information we needed during our stay. The house was also perfect for our group. We had 10 people and everyone had plenty of space and something to do while there. We loved the outdoor areas and enjoyed getting to see the seals every day.

We had a delightful stay at Quilcene Hideaway -- so many opportunities to enjoy a stunning location, kayaking on the bay, chatting with the seals, watching bald eagles and relaxing in the many outdoor spaces. Martha is a wonderful host and the house is well equipped for a large group such as ours. Would definitely book again!

What a beautiful location! A great house among the trees with a short walk to the beach to watch seals. The house was very well equipped from the kitchen to the games. The location provided eaay access to the Olympic peninsula. We will be coming back

Perfect family vacation

The Hideaway was a wonderful property in a beautiful location. We only get away as a family once a year and this was perfect. The Host Martha was very accommodating and answered our questions promptly. The home is well supplied and we were delighted with unexpected surprises i.e. games, outdoor fire place and an amazing view of the bay. We LOVED this place!

Tremendous Location

Beautiful water views with seals frolicking below. Well stocked with plenty of supplies. Remote yet within 40 min of Port Townsend. Our family had a wonderful and adventurous time.

Martha Vaughan the owner was born and raised in Seattle area. In 1995 Martha moved to Bainbridge Island to a historic home built in 1892. This was an old farm called Blakely Hill Farm.
Martha raised three wonderful children at Blakely Hill farm.
Martha ended up buying the adjoining acreage and Blakely Hill Farm expanded.
Martha always had a love of animals of every kind. Martha's children shared this passion and soon Blakely Hill Farm grew onto an animal rescue. First there were dogs and cats, then goats, llamas, a friendly pig and horses. Lots of horses. These were animals thats last possible chance at life was that Martha would take them. Martha was the last "net" to catch/save them in most cases. Martha took neglected, beaten and just thrown out animals from all sorts of unfortunate situations.
Martha has now has moved the farm to Port Angeles Wa where she continues to take mostly horses in with her daughter. Martha says rescue animals are a slippery slope but one of the most rewarding slippery slopes.
Martha now owns and runs multiple vacation homes and a wedding venue. Martha loves the outdoors. She loves walking the dogs, riding her horses, swimming in Quilcene Bay and enjoying life in general.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

I purchased this property for so many reasons. I had a huge list of wants when I was shopping for this property. I thought I would never find everything on my list. Thank goodness for my patient realtor!
I wanted waterfront property. It has to be saltwater-so I would have a beach and most importantly the water temperature had to warm up for swimming in the summer months. Quilcene Bay was the the right place for my swimming family. Quilcene Bay is such a clean pristine bay.
We wanted a place to kayak-this was the right choice again. We kayak all over this bay. The best part is that across from our property is national forest land. There are great coves to explore and no houses. What a rare treat.
We wanted waterfront acreage that was secluded. This was a great fit. We wanted a very charming type of house-cabin-hands down this was it. We wanted enough space-bedrooms-bathrooms to have our friends come and stay too.
Our list of course included somewhere with a great view, quiet and a big factor was where our rescue dogs could come and run around, swim and not disturb anyone.
We needed a quiet setting, country road that we could do our walks on...
We found everything we wanted at this property and believe me I shopped for years to find this special place.
My family has made years and years of memories at The Quilcene Bay Hideaway. We hope your family and friends can come and make memories at the Quilcene Bay Hideaway too.
