Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We do appreciate you mentioning that the home is cute and that the bed arrangement worked well for your group. During your stay, we were on the tail end of the largest snowstorm of the season, which caused widespread power outages throughout the Tahoe area. Unfortunately, power outages are completely outside of our control and are related to regional utility infrastructure, not the condition of the home itself. Regarding the TV, we sent a team member to the home after your request. When they arrived, they reported that no one answered the door. We would not misrepresent that. Throughout your stay, we remained in communication and did our best to respond as quickly as possible during an extremely busy holiday period while the entire region was navigating storm-related impacts. As for supplies, we provide a starter set of essentials, including paper towels. For larger groups or extended stays, additional supplies are typically the guest’s responsibility, which is standard for vacation rentals. We certainly understand how frustrating travel disruptions and power outages can be. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, especially during major winter storms, and we worked hard to support our guests while managing conditions affecting the entire area. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future travels.

As we prepare the home for each arrival, we supply a starter pack&nbsp;of consumables (toilet paper, detergent, paper towels, etc..), which should help for the first couple of days&nbsp;of your stay. We do send out a recommended packing list prior to arrivals informing guests of this and suggesting that they bring their own or purchase some during their stay. The other aspects of the property that was listed, such as the sheets, pillows, and lack of desks in the bedrooms, is certainly personal preference but we appreciate the helpful feedback!</span></span></span></p>

We appreciate this feedback. We have delivered a cheese grater since your departure! Future guests should keep in mind disposable items like oil, salt and pepper are not items we inventory in between each renter so come prepared! We agree- we would love if a bear box was an option for this home, but unfortunately the HOA restricts it and only a few grandfathered-in houses have this amenity. Future renters should know the trash drop off in Northstar is a quick 5 minute drive from the home.
