Lei left the place in great condition. I'm happy they were able to catch lots of Crappie and Bass right from the dock. It is nice to sit in the hot tub with a nice drink and enjoy the sunset, sunrise or stars. Communication was great. I'd love to have them back for many more visits.

Thank you for your kind words. The cleaners and Gardener do their best to make you feel at home, but nature plays a huge role. The sunsets wildlife and views are the key. While barbecuing or sitting in the hot tub or just relaxing under the shade trees on the Lakeside lawn, The natural beauties come to you. It is a wonderful serene feeling when you are sitting at the end of the dock with nothing but water and Mt. Konocti and sunrises and sunsets in front of you. Wish I could be there myself. Hope you come back soon to enjoy a different time of year. Spring has incredible bass fishing and of course the nice warm water in the summer is great for skiing, wave runners, stand up paddle boards, kayaking or just taking a tour around the lake with the whole family on a pontoon boat to observe the unbelievable wildlife all over the lake. This review took me by surprise. I talked to John 2 or 3 times during his stay, about the wildlife on the lake, fishing and about having my property manager come by to put the garbage cans out on the street for pick up. Not one complaint about anything. I know the hot tub was sparkling clean. Ozonators are common. The front yard provides privacy. The photos is the house are various wildlife on the lake that most guests find very interesting. My cleaners do a good job. I'm always sad when my guests leave for whatever reason. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving..

Thank you for your kind words. This time of year the sunsets are incredible because of a few extra clouds here and there. You can’t help but admire the wide open view all the way across the lake to Mount Konocti and the serenity it brings just looking at it. Don’t wait too long to book up your dates for the summer.

Outdoor areas are cleaned every time the indoor areas are cleaned and or course on a regular basis even if there is a vacant period in rental. Spider webs can form overnight at times. A bird can fly over and leave a dropping on a chair or table anytime, including while you are there. The wildlife should be one of the reasons you come to Clear Lake. There are cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink to take care of any of these types of issues that come up during your stay. Don't let little things diminish your experience at this wonderful sanctuary.

So sorry this guest didn't love this beautiful, private, lakefront property, with lush green lawn and shade trees and incredible, 180 degree, unobstructed views of the lake and Mt. Konocti. Absolutely not in an RV lot. Although the lake is low and the edge of the water is farther out the dock, the water is the normal color for this time of year and is surprisingly void of algae and weeds at this point. You can still tie up a boat to the side of the dock and catch fish off the dock as well. Enjoy the 2 kayaks available for your use to fish from or just explore the lake. This is a wonderful, relaxing slice of heaven with an abundance of wildlife thriving on this unbelievable ecosystem and ancient lake. Come and enjoy.
