Joan and Bryan were spectacular hosts! The property was absolutely beautiful, and very unique with the observatory Bryan designed. His passion for astrology was very evident and we thoroughly enjoyed his tour of the observatory and the history behind it!I brought my adult children and the grands with me for a family reunion and we fit perfectly with the four very spacious bedrooms, VERY well adorned kitchen, games including a pool table that converts to a ping pong table, a spacious space for their bags/corn hole game, and more. The view from the lower patio was peaceful and pretty spectacular. Not typically noted, but the shower pressure was excellent! This rental was more than we expected and I highly recommend to future explorers in the Colorado Springs area! Thank you Joan and Bryan!!

Family Vacation

This home was in a great location with amazing views. It worked perfectly for our Colorado Springs vacation, and was nearby many of the attractions we visited. Check-in and check-out were smooth and the hosts were very responsive and attentive. Plenty of amenities that we enjoyed when we were not out and about. Would absolutely stay again!

A great stay in Colorado Springs

We loved the house. It was a great size for the 8 of us. Sitting on the deck was one of our favorite things. It was in a good location. The property managers were excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Spectacular home for USAFA grad week

We rented this beautiful home to accommodate our friends and family for graduation week. Joan and Bryan are amazing hosts that thought of every little detail to make our stay pleasant and flawless. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! We couldn’t have booked a more ideal home.

Fantastic stay

Beautiful home in a perfect location for a Colorado Springs trip. Very close to Garden of the Gods and within 20 minutes of North Cheyenne Canyon where we enjoy hiking and 20 minutes from USAFA. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and taking in the evening views of Colorado Springs as well as taking walks around the area. The owners were excellent with communication before and during our stay. Highly recommended.

Birthday celebration

We had a delightful time during our Colorado Springs trip. The house was perfect. The owners went above and beyond to add joy to our trip. The house has breathtaking views of the city. We enjoyed our nightly visits with the deer living in the area. It was a perfect weekend.

Majestic views

The property is centrally located so that all the great attractions are within a 2 to 3 hour drive. Most are within 30 minutes. Loved having the deer pay us a visit every morning. And being from Florida we appreciated the cooler air!

Beautiful Location, Wonderful Stay

The space was absolutely amazing for our group, offering space to eat together, play pool together, and hang out as a team together. Joan and Bryan were great and responded quickly if we had a question. I would highly recommend this location. Friendly owners, outstanding location (not far from Garden of the Gods), and fantastic views of the sunrise! Our group made meals together and took advantage of the large dining room table for meals. Would go back in the future in a heartbeat.

The most amazing hosts EVER!

Not only did we stay at an amazing property, with a spectacular view included, Joan and Bryan were a complete delight! Their welcoming and tour through the observatory just added to the sheer perfection of our short stay to send my college Freshman off to tackle the world. Getting to learn about their daughter, Heidi’s artwork and jewelry designs (look her up!) made it that much more wonderful. Such a delight! Thanks, guys! We will be back!

Great home, great stay.

Joan & Brian were truly great “hosts” always communicating in a timely fashion and flexing to our changing incoming and outgoing flights. This home was perfect for our diverse needs and the fact that we like to spread out and have our own spaces. The additional apartment was perfect for our 21 year old niece, the downstairs space was perfect for everyone to have their own bedroom yet come together to play. We spent hours outside playing corn hole and ladder golf, S’mores around the fire and loved seeing the animals each day. We would definitely return!! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Clean, luxurious with a breathtakingly beautiful view

The owners of this property are wonderful people, helpful and accommodating. Our daughter had surgery at USAFA and we needed sanctuary that was peaceful for her to heal. The real bonus was that this property is unparalleled in the Springs, its views are incomparable, it was a beautiful respite and also had plenty of fun things to do on the property to include numerous games, Game system, a super fun pool table/table top tennis, ladder ball, and plenty of space outside to relax as well. If that wasn’t enough, the real V icing on the cake was the personal tour by a seasoned star gazer scientist, his observatory was primo and so informative! Lovely visit! 12 out of 10!Save yourself the trouble of continuing to look for a property, and book this one, your won’t regret it!

Another Wonderful Stay

We stayed at property 2 years ago over Labor Day Weekend (Parents weekend at USAFA). We knew then we wanted to stay again for our cadet’s graduation week. The hosts Joan & Bryan are always gracious and on point. This time we also rented the apartment because we had a larger group. Everything was perfect and they even did some extra things for our USAFA graduation. The house has everything you need both in furnishings and beauty to have a great time. Our only regret is our cadet graduated and we don’t know when we will be back in Colorado Springs.

Castle-like experience

Well appointed home that had a castle-like theme with a turret, painted in a Princess theme with a round table in center of turret. My 5 year old granddaughter fully appreciated. There was an on-site observatory built that the host more than happily gave tours. Accommodations were plentiful for my group of 9 that include three kids! Conveniently located to area sight seeing venues and of course, the mall for the shoppers in my group! The hosts checked in several times during our six day stay to ensure all was well! Best house ever!

I truly can’t say enough about how amazing this property was. This was my family’s first time visiting Colorado Springs and we went back and forth between staying in a hotel downtown and renting a house. I’m sooo thankful we chose the house! It’s in a perfect location, very close to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs as well as Colorado Springs. We had tons of room for all of us to relax (it was me, my husband, our four kids and my mom). We enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning and watched a sweet family of deer trot back and forth right in front of us. We relaxed after long days exploring the beautiful areas around the town by playing cornhole each evening. The views of the mountains and the city down below were just breathtaking. Joan was amazing with her communication leading up to the trip and while we were there. Bryan gave us tour of the observatory that wowed our kids (and us!). If you’re contemplating renting this property, just go for it - you will not be disappointed!! We just got home and already can’t wait to go back again.

Beautiful Tuscan retreat

The home is beautiful. The lower level is spacious and accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids well. We traveled with our in-laws, our 15 years old, a 7 year old, and two 5 year olds. Plenty of space for all of us! The teddy Bear room was great for kids, but the room with the Mural was also a hit. Lots of games for all ages, books were appreciated for the kids, and all of the family enjoyed the ping pong/pool/air hockey tables. The kitchen was a great size, and the furnishings were all very comfortable. The owners were so great! We arrived late and got a tour at midnight and a sample of their house coffee, which was amazing. Two days into our stay, we got fresh baked cookies which were delicious and a welcome surprise. The location was OPTIMAL. We drove past the Garden of the Gods every day on our adventures. We were 15-25 minutes from everything, including the Olympic training center, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Pike Peak, the Cliff Dwellings, and Seven Falls. We were 8 minutes from grocery stores, church, and Garden of the Gods. And yet we were secluded from the city itself. The location is beautiful, in the mountain but yet having a great skyline to see at night. In the morning on several days, we had mule deer outside our door that almost ate out of our children's hands! It was an amazing location and home. I am so glad we had this opportunity. Bryan and Joan were amazing. They contacted me via the VRBO app and then sent me their cell number so that I could keep them updated easier on my arrival time. Joan greeted me at the driveway and gave me the full tour of the house. Cleared up a lot of questions and there were sticky notes on some appliances to instruct how to operate them (came in handy for the washer/dryer). Bryan gave us a tour of the observatory and we all learned a lot and were very interested to hear his stories. The property was immaculate, beautiful views and we spent most of our time sitting on the porch as the breeze was always nice. The deer walked within 20 feet of us as if we didn't exist. This was a military reunion and was perfect for our long weekend plans. The location was great for our travels to different areas of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. 10/10 highly recommend. If we do another reunion in Colorado, we will definitely try to book with them again.
