Siamo situati a soli 15 minuti di distanza dalla I 75 e molto vicino ai negozi. Goditi i bellissimi tramonti dalla veranda. Ponte di nuoto situato adiacente a casa. Il letto matrimoniale ha un letto matrimoniale. La seconda camera ha un letto matrimoniale. La terza camera ha due letti a castello. La grande sala ha un divano letto. House può ospitare comodamente 10 persone. Il portico anteriore ha il binario circostante e la griglia del gas a portata di mano. Per i giorni di pioggia: ci sono due televisori a schermo piatto con lettori DVD. Sentiti libero di portare i tuoi DVD preferiti o di scegliere dalla vasta selezione nella biblioteca della casa! Great place to stay for a weekend on the lake! Great proximity to the marina. Only downfall was the water pressure was not the best. Would recommend!

A great property to stay in on the water. Love the large open living room and kitchen and couches were very comfortable for a VRBO.

Perfect attitude adjustment

The property is just as advertised. Perfect getaway spot. Plenty towels and plenty to do at the house. Also the location is awesome. Close to the marina and east to get in the boat and go.

Wow, where to start. After the circus we went through getting checked in we finally arrived at the home. When we pulled up,the docking area was very weathered and the bumpers were party falling in the water. We walked in the home and found the living room floor humped up from the exterior wall to the kitchen. We walked out on the covered porch that was supposed to have breath taking views of the lake instead was blocked by another floating home that was less than 15 feet in front of us. The pictures on the site are obviously old and when the home didn’t have anything around it. The quiet get away was instead filled with loud party boats going by less than 10 feet away all night long. Went back inside to try to wash my hands and found we had no water. We were informed we had to turn on the breakers to the water pump which we found out why they were turned off later because the pump kicks on loudly at various times all night long. Which by the way is located in the master bedroom. When we got ready for bed, we found the pillows were literally paper thin. After a horrible night of sleep. We got up. I tried to take a shower only to find it took the pump 3-4 minutes to build up pressure to come out the shower head then you got about 15 seconds of water before you had to wait for the pump to build up again. The towels they provide look like they came from a dollar store 5 years ago. That was the final straw. We packed up and checked out. 4000 dollars for floating trailer park!

We love Norris!

We loved staying in a floating house. It was our first time. The house is in need of a deep clean. Other than that....the staff ar Whitmann hollow was great!

Lake beauty

It was a great little house in a beautiful location. There were a few things needing repairs. The master shower was cracked. The water pump had to be shut off to keep from running constantly and the garbage disposal leaked. We would have given it a excellent review if these items were fixed as it was an amazing location.

Floating house

It was perfect for what we needed. Kayaks being there was great for the kids. Only reason it didn’t get all 5s was that it just needs a few maintenance items fixed nothing major few light bulbs here and there things like that

Overall the place was nice, we had 10 of us, 3 adults and 7 kids, plenty of room. The kitchen was a little small for preparing meals for the large group. The home needs just a little love in a few places to get that 5th star. Shades need redone on the porch, the porch is missing lights/ceiling fans. There is a bunch of blow up lake items they should either clean or toss and only one Kayak is safe to use, the others took on water. The marina is nice, has what you need, the staff was friendly and overall we had a great time for our first time at Norris. We hope to be back in the future!

Attitude Adjustment

Nice place a few maintenance things needed. Some of the decking boards are rotten, showers have cracks in fiberglass, railing on front porch needs pressure washing and replaced. Water pump needs to be somewhere else beside in the closet of master bedroom. It turns on and off every minute. Very loud and disturbing.

Good not great

The property was clean and spacious and the location was perfect. The only downsides were that the beds were very uncomfortable, not enough linens provided for a group of 8-10, and only 2 outdoor chairs. We were not able to make good use of the outdoor dining area due to a lack of seating. The kitchen is reasonably equipped but we could find few dish towels and no pot holders. The availability of kayaks was great although not enough paddles for the 3 kayaks.

Descent place in bad need of repairs/updating. Kitchen and living room are good, bedrooms and beds are good. Most of the issues are with the bathrooms and plumbing. We had little to no hot water, the drains in the shower clog, the toilet runs non-stop and fills the septic tank, which has to be sucked out. The toilet seat was covered with mold and the shower has a crack in the base. Several other issues not worth listing. The staff is nice and tried to be helpful. We would not stay here again.

Up keep issues

Stayed here with my family for vacation seemed like great idea. When you walk in at first it seems really nice until you look further. The first bathroom is literally rotting beneath you. If you try to sit on the toilet the floor is so destroyed you lean sideways an feel like you will fall through. Then the additional bathroom in the “master bedroom” the shower it cracked down the middle an rotting away beneath it as well. The kitchen is nice an main room but they could give a list of suggested items to bring. The kitchen had very limited utensils for cooking an absolutely no sharp knives or dish towels. Then the porch had one chair with a really large table with no lights outside open wiring on ceiling where they must have had lights or fans. The grill is also pointless as only one partial burner works.

Could be better

The house itself did the job but needs some better maintenance for sure! We will definitely not stay here again for a variety of reasons. Things to know: The master shower has a large crack in the floor. Black residue around the baseboards. The other bathroom evidently has a hole in the floor with just linoleum covering it. Kitchen is not well stocked. Very few bowls for serving or mixing . The one colander is broken. No pot holders. Decorative Lights around window didn’t work. Porch not very clean and had giant spider webs everywhere. Grill had not been cleaned in a long time ! Definitely a fire hazard. The oven was very clean though. Refrigerator worked well. No dishwasher but there is a garbage disposal so that was nice. Living room was big. Not a smart TV and no cable service. Bring an HDMI cable if you want to watch something. Movie selection at house is pretty dated and limited. There was a deck box full of floatable stuff but most of it was junk and needs cleaned out. Giant floatable unicorn in a heap laying on the deck which my kids were excited to blow up until they realized it had a giant hole in it. The kayaks were nice though! Not being able to flush toilet paper was kind of gross and then having to take our trash via boat to marina was not ideal but I guess that’s how it is with a floating house. But the marina staff were very friendly. They didn’t seem well versed on check-in/check-out procedures though.

There was no water pressure. Couldn’t take showers or do laundry. Washed dishes but no water pressure in the kitchen either. Bunk beds were new with no guards on top bunk.

Great for multiple families with kids

The three separate bedrooms, one with bunk beds work great for two families with kids. Plenty of room in the kitchen and den area to spread out and a nice sized dock as well. Will stay here again

Beautiful sunsets on a nice Summer evening. Pristine water 80' depth. Located at Whitman Hollow Marina on Big Creek! Shopping only 10 minutes to town. Master bedroom featuring queen size bed with full bath including shower stall. Bedroom 2 has queen bed. Bedroom 3 has bunks. Sleeper sofa in Great room. Side deck for sunning and swimming! Gas grill on front porch so you may view beautiful sunsets while cooking and enjoying your favorite cocktail of choice.
