Una casa contemporanea, luminosa e ben arredata, adagiata sulla superficie rustica di Ponderosa Pines. Questa è la nostra cabina di famiglia e speriamo che vi piaccia tanto quanto noi. La sauna e la zona esterna del barile all'aperto sono disponibili tutto l'anno. Opere d'arte e opere d'arte originali sono presenti in ogni stanza. Il paradiso di Poofy è molto privato con splendide viste da ogni finestra.

Beautiful house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to the state park, horseback riding, hiking, cute town of Leavenworth and even some wineries! Highly recommend.

Great house in the mountains for the perfect getaway

Paradise in the woods

Poofy’s is a gem of a place - cozy and very well equipped (books, games, kitchen, linens), set in a pretty grove of pines. Outdoor space is dreamy. Loved our stay!

Cozy getaway

Booked to stay for a family wedding in Leavenworth. Roomy yet cozy. Enough space for the three teens to retreat to there own area for privacy yet it also accommodated us all for family time. Great property.

Great place for a group

The place was perfect for our group. We went to a wedding in the lodge just down the road so it was a great location. Good sized house for a larger group, nice outdoor space and some deer friends in the morning. Quiet surroundings.

Mountain Retreat

A charming mountain cabin located off the beaten path. A perfect place to connect with family and friends over a weekend or longer! Fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay fabulous! Very close many sightseeing attractions! We had a blast!

Great mountain getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and thoughtfully curated, the property is peaceful. We loved exploring the area including Lake Wenatchee and hiking around Leavenworth. We loved the ability to disconnect and create fun family memories. Would definitely return and recommend for those looking for quiet, comfortable mountain retreat.

Great stay at Poofys!

Poofy’s paradise was such a fun but relaxing place to stay with family! My older grandson loved having his own space in the loft and our younger grandson loved the bunk beds. We all enjoyed the wood stove and playing games. It was very clean and had great little touches throughout the entire house. It’s an awesome place to stay and visit the charming town of Leavenworth.

Poofy’s paradise is just what the doctor ordered!

My family and I wanted to see Leavenworth and enjoy a lovely stay in the snow. The home was perfect for what we wanted. We played games (there were so many in the house!), we went sledding on the property, and we just enjoyed a lovely time watching it snow. It was the perfect trip just before Christmas!

Loved the place!

My girlfriends and I rented this spot for a birthday weekend and the Leavenworth Half Marathon. We absolutely loved it. The house is in perfect condition with real character and even beauty. We were happy to see books that we loved on the shelves and a well-stocked kitchen. There's a generous spirit and a real artistry to the place, thanks to the owners. We're eager to come back next year and finally enjoy the sauna!

Wonderful winter getaway

Our family of four had a great time at Poofy's. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and the cabin is charming and very comfortable. The well equipped kitchen was great for cooking and we all enjoyed sitting by the warm wood stove playing games and reading. My teenage daughter loved sleeping in the loft space and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. It was a short drive to access the groomed cross country skiing trails and other winter activities. All in all we had a very relaxing and cozy winter getaway! Thank you, Ameen!

Leavenworth family vacation

The house was very clean Ameen was very kind Nice quiet neighborhood, The sauna was a fantastic Experience The only problem we had which was a big one was the half dozen or so individual heaters in the house. They would kick on and off all through the first night and were loud enough that no one slept well The second and third nights I tended the fire through the night so my family could rest Another plus for me was the house didn’t have a television gave us all an opportunity to play games and really connect very grateful for that

HI Niko, I am so sorry you had this experience, its honestly the first time it has been an issue in the many years we have been renting the house. Most folks like having the individual heaters as everyone appreciates controlling their bedroom temperatures. I always make the beds with flannel or fleece sheets in the winter as well as duvets and extra blankets. I wish that you would have reached out to me after the first night. I could have given you tips on how to keep the fire going longer in the wood stove. Adding a fan in the next to the wood stove to blow the warm air towards the rest of the house. It is extremely quiet where we are located, this can make normal house hold noises seem much louder. Heaters generally make some noise. I am always trying my best as an individual home owner to keep my guests happy. Perhaps having earplugs for sensitive sleepers? Glad that you enjoyed the sauna and games. Happy new year, Ameen

Truly a paradise!

We loved Poofy's Paradise, we didn't want to leave. Though the goal was to go to Leavenworth and spend time there, we couldn't wait to come back to the cozy cabin. The wood burning stove was absolute heaven and kept us in the living room chatting long into the evening. The art work was beautiful and we realized that they were scenes from the cabin, how wonderful! There was lots of snow to play and go sledding in. The beds were comfortably and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved that we could charge our EV while we were there. Ameen was absolutely a wonderful host and very attentive to any questions I had. Thank you so much for the memories that we will all surely treasure.

Nice vacation house

Thanks a lot for sharing this retreat with others. We really enjoyed our stay in Poofy's Paradise, and friendly communication with the owner. A few surprises: - A few dozen yards of unpaved driveway with relatively steep uphill section. It was not easy to get in and out with 4x4 vehicle when it was covered by snow and ice. However, it became even more interesting when snow and ice was melted and transformed to mud. - House footage feels much smaller than 2000sqf like 1500sqf or so. - Sauna temperature was only about 100 degrees Fahrenheit in an hour of warming it up which is way below than a typical 170+. - We learned about stink bugs reading the guide book inside of the house. It's hard to say precisely but we caught over dozen of them around the house within 7 nights, 2-3 bugs per day. - Garbage and recycle containers are located in a few dozen yards from house in the beginning of driveway. So it's not fun to through away bags with trash either walking or driving on slippery or muddy road when it's snowing or raining.

Hi Alexander, Our home is located at the foot of the Cascade mountains, between Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth and we receive a lot of snow. The driveway is plowed after every storm. This year we had unseasonably warm temperatures in Feb causing the ground to warm up during the day and freeze at night. Late march through April is generally when this occurs . The properties in our neighborhood are more rural, sitting on acreage and it is unusual to find a paved driveway. The photographs accurately give a sense of the space of our home. There are many types of saunas, ours is an outdoor all electric barrel sauna with a temperature range of 100-150F, benefits being a longer sweat time, suitable for all ages. We find it to be a very unique feature that we can offer our guests. Stink bugs, we are a house in the woods, in the mountains. Stink bugs are very common and harmless. We have pest management in place, but we are a house in the woods and the occasional bug is going to appear. We have found it much easier for our guests to have the cans at the base of the driveway so guests can wheel the cans just a few feet to the road on check out instead of wheeling full heavy can the length of the driveway on check out. Thank you for your feedback. As a homeowner this is our vacation home. I try my very best to address all my guests concerns.

We are from Seattle and love to travel. Poofy's Paradise is the type of place we are always looking for when we travel! It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer. Our daughter named the property after our pet chicken Poofy. Poofy has not made a trip to the cabin.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We fell in love with Plain on our first visit 15 years ago and have been coming out here to various vacation properties ever since. When we found "Poofy's Paradise" we new immediately it was for us. We both wanted privacy, my husband wanted some acreage, the kids wanted some space to play, I wanted neighbors close by and a coffee shop I could walk to. Our neighbors are amazing, and the coffee shop is a great 3 mile walk away!

We love that the cabin is contemporary and bright, with just the right amount woodwork throughout. We had all the live edge woodwork done locally. We fell in love with the huge master suite. There are beautiful views of the property out every window. The acreage is mostly Ponderosa pines, its bright with just enough shade. Every season is prettier than the last.
We added the large covered patio so we could enjoy the outdoors year round. The BBQ has a stove top element that perfect for hot chocolate, pot of soup or hot apple cider! There are bar stools and a large outdoor table as well.
