This was a beautiful property which met and exceeded the expectations set by the VRBO description. The arrangement of the house and its placement amongst mature vegetation made it a comfortable place to begin and end our days. The local property managers were pleasant and responsive. The infinity pool was particularly enjoyed by all. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook for ourselves during the stay.

Great place to unwind, relax and get away from it all, yet close to beaches and activities. Home and amenities will not disappoint, will just make you not want to leave!

Beautiful views

A great trip. Located off the beaten path of tourism. The house, pool, scenery were more than we could imagine. Hosts were very responsive.

Los Sueños

Beautiful home with great architectural design. Awesome salt water pool. Great location close to supermarket and awesome restaurants. Sam and Mary are wonderful hosts.

Beautiful Home

The house is beautiful, clean and well furnished. A few hicups but nothing that a beautiful sunset could not fix. We ventured out every morning and it was nice to have a home base.

Wonderful property

This home is exquisite! Located well away from the hustle & bustle that Nosara has become, it's a peaceful respite. It's very well equipped & furnished and well maintained. The pool is perfectly situated such that the temp stays refreshing on the hottest days. There are plenty of sunny and shady spots to curl up with a book and a beverage. Two items to be aware of: 1. the pool IS a true lap pool, no shallow end. If you are less than 5' tall, you cannot touch the bottom. Our poor vertically challenged friend needed a pool noodle. 2. the roads into and around the home are rugged. We've been in the area many times and found them to be more challenging this year than previously. Just be prepared and rent the sturdiest vehicle you can. Outside of that, this is a wonderful property in a wonderful location. You can hear the waves which is something I truly love. Pura Vida!

Beautiful house, great location

This is a beautiful house with lots of details, just like the pictures, great to relax , Mountain Biking and out of the beaten path. Communication and coordination top notch, Recommended.

Exquisite get away in the jungle!!!

Stunning home nestled in the jungle and exclusive home designs including a wonderful infinity pool. in a remote area but close to local grocer and restaurants and gorgeous full kitchen if you choose to cook. Definitely will be back!

What an amazing trip & area in CR. The house was amazing, nicer than the pics. My wife & I wanted to really get away & disconnect and thats exactly what Sam & Mary provided. We most definitely will be back.

Canucks in love with Costa Rica

The property and surroundings/atmosphere was amazing, thank goodness for the pool and having AC for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped, easy to find everything and everything was there. The home beautifully appointed and had a wonderful Costa Rican character and made it easy to feel the Pura Vida vibe!!!!

Don't miss out on this property

Incredible stay at this beautiful property. Everything was perfect and completely relaxing, the house was well stocked which made cooking meals in most nights very easy and enjoyable. Completely quiet except for the sounds of nature and we even had the monkeys join us a couple times around the house. We will be returning in the future because we certainly didn't want to leave.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

We absolutely loved our week at Tanner House. We chose this property because it was near enough to Nosara to take advantage of all that region has to offer, but isolated enough that we could enjoy the beauty of the area. As the week went on, we found ourselves "venturing out" less and simply immersing ourselves in the ocean view, the lovely pool, and the sounds of the jungle that this amazing property affords. We could not have imagined a more restful and restorative vacation, and we look forward to staying there again!

Nicest place I have ever stayed!!!

Wow, this was a dream vacation! Sam and Mary made it easy to plan and easy to get there. I picked the place but even the awesome photos did not capture how magical this home is! We loved every minute. Watching the sunset from the pool with the chorus of animals in the forest was an experience I’ll never forget! Thank you Sam and Mary!!!

if only the weather was a good as the property

Great property, fabulous construction, everything in working order - no problems. The weather so bad (raining heavily most days - we early during a break in the rain, going north on 160 - roads flooded and the usual potholes - if the water had been a couple inches higher - we still be there - strongly suggest not renting in the rainy season -

House of Dreams

This property is beyond beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice. The moment we arrived we were greeted by the most beautiful sunset coming in over the pool. The home is open and airy and very well appointed. We had everything we needed. Sam and Philippe answered all our questions and gave us great advice on dining. and beaches to visit. It was a relaxing, peaceful vacation and we didn’t want to leave Los Suenos!

Beautiful home & location with everything you need

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Mary's home in Ostional. The house was beautiful and the floor plan really makes it feel like there is no separation between you and nature. There was nothing better than a dip in the pool after a morning of exploring. The house had everything we needed, and the caretakers were very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We saw a variety of birds, an iguana, and a coatimundi in the yard, and heard howler monkeys every day. We would love to stay there again!

Very Nice Place To Stay

Sam and Mary were very open to communication and answering questions. Phillipe who also helps manage the property was very helpful. Pool was amazing and we saw Howler Monkeys and an Iguana couple on the last day of our stay. I was super thankful for the room AC. Just make sure you get a 4 wheel drive and understand you are roughly 35 - 40 minutes from town even though it is 6 miles. The house was relaxing, tranquil, and very clean.

It only takes us less then 20 minutes to get where we usually go in Nosara . It might be time for the municipality to scrape the dirt road parts again . Your welcome back anytime

Absolutely beautiful home.

Home was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The sounds from the trees, bushes and foliage were fantastic and sometimes scary. The worse part was the road to the home. If you are planning to have a vacation without a lot of exploring, this is the place. However, very nice restaurants in Nosara and San Juanillo . Or pick up food at the stores coming in, cook or grill, relax and enjoy

Sunny in San Janillo

We spent 4 nights at this stunning home in the fincas los Suenos bio reserve community. It is truly a beautiful home designed to enjoy the surroundings. The pool is lovely, there are comfy rockers to enjoy the view and there is a great nap spot in the treehouse gazebo by the pool. We were met by Yorgani and Maureen who gave a detailed tour of the house.. We even were able to watch the super bowl! In Spanish but that's ok! We would highly recommend this home for a stay in the San Janillo area.

Spectacular

This property is stunning. The indoor to outdoor set up is so well designed, comfortable and functional. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed looking up at the trees above waiting on monkeys to come and visit (unfortunately only 1 came but we heard them everyday). The sunsets were amazing every night!!! At night the outdoor lighting created a beautiful ambiance showcasing the surrounding trees and reflection in the pool. If you are ok with being a little remote and enjoy privacy and being surrounded by the beauty of Costa Rica nature we would highly recommend this property.
