"Jaybirds" è una casa unifamiliare con tre camere da letto e due bagni su un unico livello con un letto king size nel master, un letto matrimoniale e uno matrimoniale. Jaybird's si trova in campagna sull'Abbott Valley Homestead da 275 acri ed è situato in una zona appartata tra ondeggianti tamarack, betulle e pioppi tremuli. Cottage was on the rustic side but very clean, well equipped, spacious. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very good with luxurious, new towels. The setting was quiet and peaceful and private in a wooded setting with a small stream to enjoy. Price was comparable to two rooms in a lodge or motel and much more room to spread out!

The property is beautiful and spacious. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and the grounds are nice. It is very close to the main highway, but feels like you are in the country. The manager also worked to get something I left behind. Lodging is expensive in the area, but this gives you lots of space.

Thank you very much for your review! The ranch is peaceful, quiet and very private because it is located at the base of a mountain, more than a mile from US-2, ten miles to the Park. Our rental is in the heart of 300 acres of property we own, which is mostly forest, and itself is surrounded by Flathead National Forest! So, no, we are not near a major highway! Best to you!

This house was perfect for our quick stay, Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We were happy that they were willing to rent for just one night. Great for the beginning of our trip to Glacier National Park.

Everything was perfect, well stocked, clean plenty of supplies and convenient to town for groceries. Mattresses comfortable, towels soft, AC not needed as evenings/nights cool and just turn the fans on - no trouble falling asleep. We would come back here again in a heartbeat

This is a really great place to stay, it is beautiful had plenty of room and amenities. The only issue we had was the internet which is expected. The WiFi signal isn’t strong enough to even work the tv so if you plan on having time at the house and want to be occupied bring you something to do. Otherwise this is a great home and I would absolutely choose it again!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking staples. The furniture and beds were comfortable. There was a variety of literature about the area to help us plan our visit. It was close to the West Entrance to GNP so that was also a plus. The location was very peaceful and quiet, which we appreciated after a long day of travel. Rosemary was quick to respond to any questions that I had. I would recommend this vacation rental.

Rental was fine, but tired. It could use a little updating. Not all burners on stove top worked and we kept running out of silverware. Also, there weren't any serving dishes. Some outlets didn't seem to work, and there wasn't comfortable seating for 4 in living room. No major issues - It worked for us.

We grew up here riding horses, fishing and swimming, hiking in the mountains, building forts, and riding tractors and haying and raising cattle. We went away to school, had careers, came back and now our third generation of family is enjoying 'the ranch'. The Foley Family

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Abbott Valley is a 270 acre homestead minutes from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park. Nestled near Desert Mountain, and surrounded by Flathead National Forest, this is one of the larger tracts of land, still intact, which was originally homesteaded in 1910 shortly before the establishment of Glacier National Park (1911) and the founding of the National Park Service (1916). Abbott Valley is comprised of meadows, forests, beaver ponds and criss-crossed by two creeks, North and South Abbott. Two of our rentals - Mickey's and Baptiste - are the original homestead cabins dating back 100 years and though they have been remodeled they retain their original authentic log structures. They are a delight to stay in and it is fun to marvel that right here the Indians pitched tee-pees on the property and traded with the early settlers.

Abbott Valley is family owned and operated. We live here and are available to answer questions to help make your vacation a memorable experience. We have been welcoming guests for 25 years. Many return year after year, having 'chosen' one cabin or another as theirs, putting their roots down, if only for a week or two, so they can enjoy time with each other in a beautiful, serene setting.
