Cottage privato, splendida camera da letto di 720 piedi quadrati, cucina completa, bagno, ampio soggiorno / sala da pranzo. Lanai coperto con grill a gas, posti a sedere nel patio, area gazebo coperta con amache e sedie sospese. Convenientemente situato appena fuori dalla famosa costa della "Strada Rossa". Vicino a precedenti flussi di lava e avventure oceaniche, eventi della comunità, mercati e il pittoresco villaggio di Pahoa. Questo è assolutamente il posto più PULITO che troverai per le tue vacanze a Puna!

Vita pulita, privata e tranquilla mentre esplori il distretto di Puna di Big Island dall'area di Kalapana: osservazione della lava, osservazione di balene e delfini durante i mesi invernali, escursioni in barca e molto altro! Casa ad alta efficienza energetica. A breve distanza dalla musica del mercoledì sera dello zio Robert e dal mercato contadino della domenica mattina a Maku`u. Visita il pittoresco villaggio di Pahoa per negozi e ristoranti. In 5 minuti a sud sulla Red Road si trova Kalapana, dove la strada termina nei campi di lava. Lì troverai il Kalapana Café e il Kava Bar dello zio Robert, nonché passeggiate guidate di lava e un sentiero attraverso i campi di lava fino alla nuova spiaggia.

VIETATO FUMARE nei locali è una politica rigorosa ~ va bene fare una breve passeggiata nel vicino parco per fumare.

Questa è una casa vacanza ospitata, residenza principale. La casa principale del proprietario sulla proprietà per il servizio 24/7. Cottage è completamente privato.

We absolutely loved our stay here, especially the lanai! The unit was very well equiped, clean, super comfy and a great location away from any crowds but easy enough to visit other areas of the island.

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I and a great spot for exploring the Hilo side of the The bed was the most comfortable of any bed we've had at a rental. Or host was helpful and her cottage has all of the little details to make a stay enjoyable. Thank you!helpfulisland.

Cottage with Everything

Really enjoyed my four nights here. Everything was perfect! Immaculate to say the least. Quiet and private. Stars out every morning, brilliant! Wasn’t expecting the weather, but it was stunning! Can’t wait to return! Washer and dryer very handy.

Best kept secret in Hawaii

First and foremost we LOVED our host. She had thought of EVERYTHING you could need while you are staying at her property. I hesitate to review, because I’m afraid she’ll get so popular that we won’t be able to book again. This gem is quiet, clean, private- it’s an oasis. I hope that we get to return soon!

Beautiful Little Cottage

We stayed for 1 week on our honeymoon. The host provided everything we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. Geckos were so entertaining to watch running all over and coquis lulled us to sleep at night. One thing to note: be sure to grab some bug spray, the skeeters are vicious out on the lanai! Overall quite happy with the experience!

Beautiful Pahoa

We loved our three weeks on the Big Island Hawaii. Marylove is a wonderful person and a lovely host. We scoured this side of the island and to us the only drawback was it’s distance. It just made for extra driving. Thank you Marylove!

Great little slice of paradise!

Clean, calm, well equipped with a great hostess! We prefer to be in nature than in the middle of an urban jungle! This is like an oasis in the middle of a tropical island! MaryLove has done a great job in decorating and equipping this little cottage! It's at the back of her house yet completely separate and private! The backyard is all yours and a joy to use with chairs, a swing, a hammock and a bbq! We stayed here for 1 month and had most of our meals there without missing anything in terms of equipment or utensils! One morning the drip coffee machine decided to quit on us. Fortunately there's also a french press, so we didn't miss our morning coffees! I let MaryLove know via text and by the time we came back in the afternoon there was a brand new coffee machine with a stack of coffee filters by the door! She really wants her guest to enjoy the experience and takes pride in her little slice of paradise! Yes you do need a car, but we didn't mind the drive to Pahoa or Hilo and the cottage is well worth the drive! We highly recommend it for short or longer stays! Thank you MaryLove and hope to see you and Devin sometime in the near future! Michel and Lucie xxoo

Peaceful and spacious

Location is great for getting away with a short walk to the ocean for sunrise/sunset views. There is a drive into town for grocery/gas etc. but a beautiful area to visit.

Awesome Stay in Tropical Paradise

We had an amazing time staying at Marylove's cottage. It was so peaceful relaxing in the hammock in the evening and you could see so many stars since its a bit far out of town. Everything we could have needed was provided including snorkel equipment and beach chairs. We will be back!!

An oasis in paradise

Even better than advertised, Marlove has created a wonderful space in a beautiful setting. We had to make a special effort to leave and explore the rest of the island. Has all the amenities of home and we enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen. There is no cell phone reception which maybe a concern to some. The wi-fi however is pretty robust. Marylove is very responsive to any requests or concerns. Definitely a 5 star property.

A Lovely Place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was so nice and the host added so many thoughtful extras. It was a cool experience to be off-grid. The gazebo was so nice to relax in at the end of the day and it’s always great to have access to a washer & dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed the coquis singing at night. I think the biggest advantage of the location is that we probably wouldn’t have driven the Red Road had we stayed elsewhere, and it was lined with amazing scenery!

Mary love has created a fabulous oasis from which to explore the Puna district. The attention to detail was fantastic; everything we thought of needing was thoughtfully provided by our host. We would highly recommend staying here!

Cute cottage stay

We loved this private cottage stay. It had all the amenities of a house and was perfect for what we needed. We were gone from sunrise to sunset just traveling around the island. This was a good location to see the East part of the island. About 1 hour from Volcano National Park and the nearest town was in Pāhoa about 25 minutes away. Everything else is quite a drive but it’s all beautiful.

This was a beautiful place to experience Hawaii for the first time!

This property was absolutely perfect! Beautiful outdoor area to relax in. Dark night sky to stargaze. Close walk to the water. This was our first time to Hawaii and it was just lovely. Plenty of room for the two of us. The meditation labyrinth was very peaceful. Even though the frogs at night are a bit loud, I had no problem falling asleep without ear plugs. There was a large amount of beach gear available to use. Mary was very attentive and so accommodating. When we come back to the big island, we will absolutely be staying at this property! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Relax & renew & in a beautiful and eco-friendly environment.

Perfect location for what we wanted to do, bike ride to exercise and view scenery and wildlife, visit the beach, eat some excellent sea food. Mary, was gracious, considerate and prompt to respond to requests and questions. Most of all, Mary was very welcoming. We will return and stay longer

Semi-retired, Marylove is a vital, fun loving, respectful Tutu (grandma) who loves her life in Hawaii and her ohana (family). Marylove is an RN as well as an interpreter for American Sign Language, working throughout all the Hawaiian islands. She loves pickleball and knows all the local venues to play!

Life is sweet here in the Kalapana area of Big Island, which is a place of amazing serenity and beauty. I am so happy to share a slice of it while you visit!
