A soli due isolati dalla spiaggia, Tybee Girl è un affascinante casa del 1930. L'ampia area esterna dispone di un recinto privacy, sdraio, doccia calda e fredda, grill a gas, tavolo ostriche e altro ancora. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con lavastoviglie e l'isola. Il bar per la colazione ha spazio per 6. Poco oltre il bar per la colazione è il soggiorno con un camino in mattoni (non funzionante) e una tv a schermo piatto. La zona pranzo dispone di posti a sedere per 9. Il cottage 3 camere da letto contiene un re, regina e 2 letti a castello. Come bonus, questa struttura dispone di una grande veranda. Questa camera è un luogo ideale per guardare film o avere famiglia gioco notte. Chiudere la porta adiacente al cottage, e la veranda diventa una quarta camera privata utilizzando il divano letto. C'è la connessione wifi gratuita e TV via cavo. Parcheggio gratuito per un massimo di 3 veicoli.

Disappointed

I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. The bedding was unclean, and the furniture showed significant signs of wear and neglect. The towels were also in poor condition, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.I attempted to contact the owners regarding these issues, but received no response to my messages. A subsequent phone call only resulted in a suggestion to use additional bedding, which did not address the overall cleanliness concerns.The online photographs were misleading, and the actual condition of the unit was far below expectations. Several items were broken or unclean, and the entire property appeared to be in need of significant maintenance and updating.

Family wedding at Old Fort Jackson

We really enjoyed our stay.The house was much more spacious than we anticipated!It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our weekend stay.Would definitely consider staying at Tybee Girl again!

Great beach house, but hot

We had a great trip. This house was great for us except the air conditioning really couldn't keep up with the heat...even after the rain. We would love stay here again if the air conditioning was updated.

Cute little cottage that just needs a little TLC

Cute little cottage, has some age but not a deal-breaker. Located very well on the island, fairly close to the beach. The only concerns my family and I had was that this property could use a deep cleaning and a little maintenance here and there. The only other issue was that the air struggled during the peak times of the day but was rather comfortable at night.

Great location and size, but shabby

We have been to Tybee several summers, and always stay in an older beach house because we like the eclectic charm. While this space has potential and is functional, it definitely needs a deep cleaning and some love and attention Pros: Lovely neighborhood with a close walk to the beach. Three distinct bedrooms (two well sized, one very small but good for young kids). Nice sized and equipped kitchen. Plenty of supplies (towels, dish and laundry soap, TP, new sponge for kitchen...) Cons: The listing photos are not accurate, photos showing a tiled floor (and nicer furniture) are not current. Central air was insufficient to cool the house so a series of standing AC units and box fans were required and the house was loud and un-pleasant. Upholstered furniture was either stained or torn, and many of the other furnishings (lamps, bar stools, case pieces...) were dingy/cheap looking. No attention to landscaping and no pleasant outdoor seating areas, piles of lumber and broken furniture in the back yard. Floor was free of particles but dirty (our feet and socks turned black) and curtains and ceiling fans were thick with dust. Entire space needs a fresh coat of paint. Cleaning tools (gross looking brooms, mop, plungers) were left out open in the living spaces rather than tucked in a service closet. Pet waste was left in the back yard (previous renters responsibility per house rules, but owner/cleaners should check prior to new renters). For the price, we we're disappointed.

Beach

This was the first time we have ever rented a house. The house was very nice and stocked with everything we needed. My only complaint is the air conditioner didn’t work very in the bedrooms.

Great Location and Size, Weak HVAC

My Family of 4 stayed here for the week of July 4th. The location of the house is a couple blocks from the beach and was an easy walk. The house felt spacious. The air conditioning at the house did not keep up with summer heat and we stayed hot when inside the house. Property feels like it is older and could use some updating.

Cute old house close to beach

Loved the location- an easy walk a few blocks from public beach access. The house is well stocked but it could use a good deep cleaning, and the AC needs repair as it does not cool the house during the day.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time for our first trip to Tybee Island. We didnt want to leave. The owner so nice when we needed to extend our trip one more night. We appreciate the kindness throughout the entire process. We cant wait to cone back. The cottage was perfect fit for our family. My 6yro favorite part of the trip was the bunk beds and him getting to sleep on top 😆

Fun sisters trip

Property was a great location easy biking walking short drive to anything. House could use a deep cleaning we spent first half day cleaning lots of dust fans, stool covers, lights, faucet leaks door knob hard to work. Overall great place just needs cleaning was nice to have washer and dryer location is great. Would be nice to refund our cleaning fee. Again thanks for sharing your home location to beach was great.

First Time Visit

First time visiting Tybee Island. We enjoyed our stay!!! Found the rental to be comfortable and relaxing. Lots of room and the kitchen had all the tools needed to create meals. The 2 block walk to the beach was great!!! We would stay again for sure

Cute house but needs some updates

The house was quite cute and i enjoyed the stay however there could be some updates. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, bedding and linens felt old and the handle on the dryer was broken off. I guess i expected more from what the pictures showed.

Tybee Girl

The location, booking process, size and location of this property were all good. I was disappointed at the cleanliness. The floors (not carpet which is wonderful) were extremely dirty. I used a giant box of wet Swiffer's and still couldn't get it clean. The bath towels are very old, and some were stained. The walls, doors and kitchen cabinets are in need of a deep clean (you can see the dirt and grime) and probably a coat of paint. The backyard could use some TLC and maybe a pallet floor in the outside shower since you're standing in dirt. If these items were corrected this could be a real gem.
