Grande terrazza per la vista del tramonto. Zona comoda per pic-nic e falò. Noleggio di kayak disponibili. We had a wonderful stay! The quiet, private lake was the perfect place to relax and unwind, while the water provided plenty of fun and memorable moments. The peaceful setting made it easy to enjoy both the beauty and privacy of the property.Our host, Mike, was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We truly appreciated his hospitality and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful quiet spot on a private lake! Nice cabin with a great view over Man Lake. Close enough to Longville, Hackensack or Walker if looking you are for an outing or shopping. I don't think we have ever seen so many large dragon flies as we did sitting on the dock in the evenings. The weather was great, the lake was calm and clear, and the fishing wasn't bad either! Overall, great peaceful lakeside retreat!

It’s a lovely property, private, trees all around, clear, clear lake. Communication was easy with the host. The cabin has all the basics with a good kitchen and basics provided, clean and easy. We rented a fishing boat and had some good fishing, appreciated 2 kayaks for use.

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Lake home. The property manager was very response to our needs. The only thing I would caution people about is the steep. hill to the Lake.

Family Vacation Fun!

Had a great time staying at this home. It's very well equipped with everything you will need! Our granddaughter, a toddler, loved to stand in front of the very large windows and look at the lake. The view is so pretty!. Very restful and peaceful place. Deer were in the yard every night. Black flies were annoying but that's nothing the owner can control and part of being in the woods. It was a great vacation!

Peaceful and serene vacation cabin!

This waterfront cabin is picture-perfect. A family of loons were bobbing up and down on the lake in front of the dock. The walk down to the lake has a natural progression of 46 steps. The deer and wild turkeys are cute to observe. The lake water is clear and clean. Itasca State Park was close by to visit the headwaters of the Mississippi River. At night the moon reflected brilliantly on the water. You will not be disappointed in this cabin! The area offers plenty of places to eat and visit. We had no disappointments.

Peaceful Serenity

When you arrive at the property, you are greeted by beautiful views. The "cabin" is a family cabin. The accommodations are spectacular, beds comfortable, kitchen complete with all you need. Sit on the deck with your cup of coffee to listen to the loons and watch the eagle fly by. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great way to relax for your vacation. There are 54 steps from the deck down to the lake, so your legs get quite a workout going down to the lake to fish off the dock! There is no beach for kids to play on but the water is crystal clear. We enjoyed our week away.

Lookout mountain on Man Lake

Perched on a hill, the view of the lake is spectacular. However, lots of stairs to the water. The lake is extremely clear and clean. Private house nestled in the woods with wildlife. Carpet could stand to be replaced and vacuuming could have been a little more thorough as found lots of bugs near The baseboards and all the rooms. Other than that it was clean. The boat lift is nice but needs a roof. Very nice deck overlooking the lake with chairs and table.

Thank you for the feedback. We have made note of the cleaning and will be sure to update the housekeeping service we use. We will look into the carpet as well. The boat landing is challenge to have a roof on it without a boat in it year round where weather and wind can move and tip the lift without weight in it. While the steps to the lake can be a bit ... we hear from many that the views are enjoyed, with exercise is good for the body, and the deep lake profile (80+ft. in parts) lends for the clean, clear water and nice breeze to keep you cool in the summer. Gorgeous Views

It was just my wife and I for a week in early July. The home's setting is beautiful. It is fairly high above the lake so provides great views from the deck/house. The stairs to the dock are significant, but doable. The wifi was strong enough to stream well through our Fire Stick. It was a hot week, so our only complaint is that the home needs AC. A mini-split would be perfect. The lake is just the right size and really pretty. Fishing was tough, but that's true everywhere in July. Hackensack and Longville are great little towns nearby.

The view from this cabin is absolutely stunning…the cabin was very comfortable and well set up, all you need to bring is yourself, clothes, toiletries and groceries.Your host Mike is very pleasant and accommodating.The few things that I would say for the next set of guest is the stairs down to the water are a little bit of a workout but very doable and the cabin has no Air Conditioning so at certain times of the year that could make for a uncomfortable stay..but because it sits up on a hill it does have a wonderful breeze that passes thru which worked for us on our stay..and with that said the screen door does not have a working lock but needs one so the breeze does not keep opening the door allowing for the flies to get in to the cabin.This place is a wonderful place to stay and provides a very relaxing atmosphere.

Stayed here 10 days in July with my two kids. Fantastic place on Man Lake. Elevated setting gives it great views of the lake. Very clean, well equipped cabin. It did get a little warm midday but it was the hottest week of the year so far. Large private lot with basically no visible neighbors. Lake was super clear and a good depth for cooling off at the end of the dock. Host was highly communicative and easy to work with. Check in and out was seamless. Planning on staying here again next year.

Nice cabin and lake / Owner difficult

Our family (2 adults and one teenager) rented this cabin for 4 weeks in June / early July. Cabin and lake are nice, but we found Richard, the owner, difficult to work with. He requires renters to print, sign, scan and return 2 additional legal agreements prior to staying. Even though it is listed as a 6-person cabin, we had to negotiate being able to have additional family members visit us during our stay. While there, we had 2 power outages caused by storms, one for almost 2 days. We had no power, water, or bathroom facilities and had to stay at another location for one night. Later, while a leaky roof was being repaired, work crews were at the property for 2 days, with no advance notice. We did not appreciate being awakened at 7:30 AM to a loud compressor starting up. At the end of the 4 weeks, we asked Richard to consider a refund or some accommodation for the 4 days of our stay that were impacted by the power outages and repair crew. Richard's response was typical: "Your request is unreasonable and therefore no refund." We won't be staying there again.

Relaxing Getaway!

We rented this property for 9 days and enjoyed every one of them. The cabin was extremely clean and well equipped, and situated on a private lot. We enjoyed the picturesque view of Man lake, the clean lake water, the vibrant loon community, many sightings of deer and bald eagles, 2 kayaks, the outdoor fireplace, and the overall peacefulness of the setting The owner obviously takes great pride in his property and makes sure guests have what they need for an enjoyable and relaxing time. We rented a small pontoon from Recreational Rentals and it was a seamless launch from Wildwood Beach Resort. The area lake roads were great for walking and running. We thoroughly enjoyed out time!

A perfect place to do nothing

We (a dad with three younger kids who stayed the whole time, and two older kids who visited each for a night) spend seven great nights at this cabin. This cabin was the perfect package. It's perched on a hill at the North end of a lake, and has incredible views from the deck, the living room, the largest bedroom, and the dock. It's just rustic enough to feel like a cabin where you can unwind, but it's still a modern and very comfortable space. We rented a pontoon from Recreational Rentals, and spent the week with no agenda - just taking time to swim or tube or fish out on the lake. The hosts are very responsive, easy to work with, and are highly recommended.

Great Cabin on a Great Lake!!

The location of the cabin, the accommodations of the cabin and the overall great relaxed feeling was fantastic! The lake was quiet and wonderful and the fishing was great. We were blessed with great weather which just was the icing on top of the cake!

beautiful views, relaxing

we had a great time, the views were great. You are truly away from everything. we rented a pontoon from Hackensack and spent lots of time fishing, swimming and going on boat rides. not a lot of people were on the lake. water was very clear. I would highly recommend this property if you want to get away from it all.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We wanted a peaceful vacation on a lake and that’s exactly what this was. The house is not air conditioned but there are several fans that kept the rooms comfortable. I don’t like being hot and there was a day or two at 90 degrees, but the fans worked. We bought most of our groceries in Walker. It was an easy drive, and seeing all the activity on Leech Lake made us even more thankful for the solitude of this rental. The dock area was very nice. We rented a boat from Wildwood Resort and they were very easy to deal with. This was definitely a vacation we would repeat!

Had a good time. Clean well stocked house, great fishing! Fantastic view of the lake. Excellent communication with the owner and quick response. There are quite a few steps to get to the dock. Overall a good time.

Wonderful cabin

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Rother’s cabin on Mann lake. A really nice cabin with a remarkable view of the lake. Such a peaceful place. We rented a pontoon from Recreational rentals in Hackensack and had so much fun on the lake tubing and swimming. Sometimes it was just us and the loons on the lake! Could have spent hours on the deck just soaking up the view and listening to the loons.

Family Time

It was such a great getaway for my family. My aunt used to take us to this area when we were little and it was so fun to take my son there too.

Quite, serene and private. Great views, great place to relax. Really good fishing on a lake with no public access and very little traffic or activity. Clean water and deep lake with lots of structure.
