Lovely Lanai

We love the complex and this is a great unit. Close to all 3 pools, beautiful views from the lanai and very comfortable king size bed. Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful getaway

Our stay here was amazing. We enjoyed waking up to beautiful morning rainbows and eating breakfast out on the lanai. The space was perfect for rest and relaxation after a day of exploring the island. It was also a short walking distance to the beach so we had everything we needed for our vacation.

We had an excellent stay here! The unit was clean, well furnished, comfortable, and inviting. As soon as we walked in the door, we were pleased with our choice. This building is at the top of the hill close to the main road and lobby. While it meant we were further from the ocean than some units, it also meant that we could see the ocean over the tops of the other buildings.The lanai is incredible! It has plenty of space and nice furniture. At night, the door covers provide excellent privacy and room darkening.The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was effective, and we all slept wonderfully! The kitchen had everything we needed.We were staying in the unit when Hurricane Nolo passed by. All of west Maui lost power for 36 hours, but we managed to stay comfortable in the unit. The screen doors let a good amount of air flow through, keeping the unit from getting miserably hot. We were able to use the grills to cook our dinner.The location is perfect. As far as distance from the beach, it is a bit of a walk to get there, but not terrible. We walked to both the part of the beach where the resort cabana is and the stretch near Black Rock more than once. We even walked down the beach to Airport Beach for snorkeling. Unfortunately, the beach in front of the cabana is currently missing due to storms, but there is a lovely beach right next to it. We also both walked and used the free Kaanapali Trolley to go to Whaler's Village.

Clean, convenient, lovely

Nice place. Great balcony. Bed is a bit soft, but overall a lovely place in a very convenient location.

Beautiful Condo

We rented 4 condos for a family reunion and this condo was by far the nicest condo of the group. It was very well equipped and was beautiful and very comfortable. We would definitely rent this unit again!

Very comfortable and spacious

I am quite picky and this condo suited all of our needs quite well. Ample space, great location for walking and near all the shops you need. I would return here to this rental. Good view from lanai and beautiful grounds by the golf course.

Breathtaking views

We enjoyed our stay here. We love the location and the view. Nice to be close to the shops. Whale watching from the lanai was breath taking. So homey and spacious. We enjoy the beautiful gardens on the property as well. So nice to have 2 bathrooms! Easy access to catch the trolly or a nice 10 min walk to Whaler’s Village.

Perfect in Paradise

Perfect 1 bedroom for me & my spouse. Big lanai with beautiful view, very private beach and good location. The grounds are beautiful & we love that it's not a high-rise. We were next to roadway but bedroom was very quiet. Definitely will return!

A beautiful place to stay

We stayed 12 days in that time we had a beautiful experiences snorkeling, friendly locals happy to answer questions, accessibility to whalers village . Ocean access stunning and a beautiful walk every morning . Whalers villlage a short walk away. We rented a car and ventured down to wailea . The property has 3 featured pools . Cannot wait to return ! Thank you to all of the hard working staff .

Really wonderful last minute vacation. The property managers made it so easy for us; We had a late night check in and the process went very smoothly. Security guards very helpful. Beautiful Condo; spacious, great location. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Mahalo

As described remodel

The property still shows as recent remodel. We have stayed at El Dorado frequently and this property is top tier for complex.Building D is close to access road and highway.For some this might be a noise issue; not a problem for us.

Such a great unit!

We were so impressed with this unit. It exceeded our expectations. The space was very updated, clean, well decorated and a really great size for the four of us (two adults, two kids under 6). Having the three pools to choose from was really nice, the larger main pool had a great baby pool that was warm and the perfect depth for our 1.5 year old. The location is perfect, just far enough away so it's quiet and well priced, but an easy, very beautiful walk to Black Rock (less than 10 minutes) and to Whalers (10-15 minutes). We'd absolutely stay again!

Our new favorite

We loved this condo. My husband is a part time wheelchair user as he had his leg amputated a couple years ago. This unit has ample space to get to the shower and a handheld shower head which makes it much easier for him.

Good, Not great...

Our stay was good. The rooms were clean and everything was there. The only thing that bothered us is the Fridge. The water and ice did not dispense properly and we were forced to buy our own bags of ice for our drinks. We also noticed something weird growing in the water canister inside the fridge. It looked jelly like white mold... after seeing that we were concerned about drinking any water that came from the fridge dispenser. We tried to keep the kitchen relatively clean after every use as we noticed Ants and small cockroaches would linger about. in the kitchen counter. The pull out was also worrisome as a few of the springs were loose on the sides and in the ends. of the bed... it made the bed when you sat on the edge to sink in. Overall, i think the stay was pleasant. The staff around was very helpful and the location is great. The check out and the check in time was a bit odd tho. 4p for check in and 10am for check out. I ask'd for a late check out but unfortunately it was not accommodated. Check the schedule for pool and hot tub times too... they close relatively early.

In the event like yours that another guest is checking in the same day you check out, our cleaning team needs adequate time to prepare the room for the next check in. If we are unable to grant a late checkout, the front desk at the Eldorado is happy to hold onto your luggage and perishables while you enjoy the property longer. Should you return to visit us in Maui, please do not hesitate to reach out at anytime if you find anything in the unit that needs attention. Had we been made aware in any of our email or text correspondence, we would have addressed these concerns right away & have since made sure that everything is in working order. It is our priority to keep our units in excellent condition and appreciate all feedback. Mahalo 🌺

Roomy, good location, easy beach access.

We really enjoyed the roomy property and the convention of the location with easy beach access. There is sometime unpleasant periodical noise from possible property water heater equipment. It’s sometimes woke me up during the night. Hope this will be fixed otherwise no other disappointing.
