Situato a 2 ore a nord di Toronto sull'esclusiva all'estremità nord occidentale del Lago di Giuseppe. Il cottage è situato in una bella punta sud con il canottaggio e nuoto banchine sulle esposizioni est e ovest che consentono di sole tutto il giorno. Ideale per 1 o 2 famiglie; ci sono 6 camere da letto, 3. 5 bagni, 2 cucine ben attrezzate, walk-in dispensa e 3 frigoriferi, 2 camini in pietra e 3 zone soggiorno / Ricreazione generosi riforniscono di questo 3500 sq. ft. Cottage. Canoa / Kayak / pedalò, un ferro di cavallo Pitch, Ping Pong, TV satellitare, Internet, interna ed esterna Sound System e un sacco di giochi sono disponibili per il tempo libero. Three families stayed and enjoyed this cottage for three nights. It’s a beautiful property and Chris was very accommodating and easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Another year at this cottage with my family. It was an amazing experience. The host, Christopher, was extremely helpful and responsive to our queries. Overall, we were all very happy and will be back net year!!

This is a magical place! The Cottage is beautiful and rustic in the best way… it is oriented perfectly to provide beautiful vistas from every window. It is both light and airy and super cosy. The pre-Cambrian shield surroundings are straight out of an Emily Carr painting. I consider myself fortunate to have found this spot & my family and I recommend it wholeheartedly.A big thank you to Chris for his responsiveness & help with any questions.

The cottage and property were both very nice. There were more items in the house than I expected, many appliances and cookware that were helpful in the kitchen, puzzles, cleaning products, etc.

beautiful, spacious , well equipped home on lake with stunning views and sun exposure all day on multiple docks. 2 kitchens! private suite at boathouse was ideal for the newliweds in our family!

A Hidden Gem

The pictures don't do this property justice. Everything exceeded my expectations—the cottage itself, the outdoor docks, decks, activities, patios, and trails were all fantastic. Chris was very kind and helpful, answering all my questions promptly. I will definitely be coming back!

The property itself is stunning with exposure on a smaller bay and also the bigger lake. Facing south and west and east. Three different docks, a beautiful rocky point, so many great swimming options with deep water right off the property. There’s a beautiful mature perennial garden with stunning lilies and rhododendrons. Really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and pedal boats and there are canoes. Also an adorable kids safe waiting area for toddlers. Really a lot of privacy, a few friendly neighbours in the distance. Very little boat traffic, we were there during the week. Great location for boating, we went to Port Carling and had a lot of days of wakeboarding and tubing. There’s a boat house with one bed and a lot of bedrooms in the main house. 10 of us slept comfortably. There are two living rooms, a recreation pool table space, a treadmill with weights, two kitchens, a small breakfast table, and a larger dining table, and everything that you will need is provided. Don’t forget to bring paper towel, Toilet paper, beach towels. Lots of parking spots. I walked on the driveway for a few kilometres every day through stunning Muskoka mixed forest. Saw two Deers twice. Wi-Fi is expensive there so we brought books.Great place to go with a larger group and really get a lot of exposure to nature. Temperature of the lake was fantastic, high 70s. This was late July. The teenagers really enjoyed the small hot tub, the big screen TVs. Grocery shopping about 20 minutes away.

Incredible Rustic Retreat

This is a stunning and ideally located property with acres of space and places to enjoy the view. Whether you enjoy sun or shade, you’ll find your spot to relax, indoors or out. The sandy, shallow beach area for toddlers and younger kids to play was a favourite feature. We spent most of our time here and on the expansive dock next to it. The boathouse has another dock in a quiet bay for easy access to kayaks, canoes, paddle boards etc. If you’re renting a boat, I highly recommend you get on a paddle board and look around the back bay so you can chart your path in and out of the boathouse dock. We did ding a prop but it was an easy fix and Hamer Bay Marina was excellent to deal with. We enjoyed the newly added hot tub after dark however the weather that week was very hot so we only used it once. The cottage is very rustic, traditional and well-equipped. We were unable to use some of the spaces like the games room in the loft and the bedroom in the boathouse due to the excessive heat. This didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for the property. There’s no place to store garbage outside so if you don’t want to share your vacation with bears, you’ll have to to keep it inside or bring it to the local dump which is a quick drive. No need to be worried about bears. You won’t see them as long as there’s no food left outside to attract them. One last thing, our host was very welcoming, responsive and flexible. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely recommend this cottage.

Great stay at Chris' cottage

The cottage was better than advertised. Perfect place for a group getaway. Multiple docks with different sun exposures & two kitchens were highlights - made cooking & cleaning much more manageable. Chris & his property manager Dave were very communicative & easy to reach. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible weekend away

This place is an absolute oasis! Headed up for the long weekend and had an incredible time. Place is huge and very well equipped with everything from outdoor fire places to water activities. Would head back in an absolute heartbeat!

Given COVID-19, we truly needed a winter escape!

Having been a cottage person my entire life and owning my own place for the last 25 years, I pretty much know what we wanted; this place was perfect! It’s well-maintained, incredibly well-equipped, on a very private peninsula at the north end of Lake Joe. The road is good into the place, caretakers David and Susan were always available, though we didn’t really ever need them. Layout is perfect for two families or an extended family or for people with houseguests. It was a great experience for our winter getaway.

Fabulous family experience!

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect! It was a winter wonderland setting outdoors with many warm gathering spaces indoors. We enjoyed long walks, great meals, fun games and cozy reading around the fireplaces. Cottage provided all the comforts of home and much more, and we sincerely appreciated some friendly assistance from the local caretaker as an early morning snowfall made our departure up the driveway a little slippery. Thanks for your hospitality!

Incredible Winter Getaway

We weren't able to travel for Christmas so instead we booked this cottage for our Toronto "bubble" as a short getaway for our family. The cottage was incredible -- quiet and serene. Lots of spaces for folks to congregate but also find a quiet spot for privacy. Everything was clean and well-placed. Dave and Chris were awesome to communicate with - timely and accurate. We look forward to staying here again - perhaps during the summer. The pictures don't do the place justice.

Great Cottage

Dave the property manager met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the cottage so we felt comfortable and Dave was able to answer any questions we had about the cottage. A beautiful place that is almost like two cottages in one.

Family fun—making memories

It worked beautifully for our family. Real rambling cottage feel and lots of private areas to relax. Three refrigerators handy and canoes, paddle boards and peddle boats available. Upper loft area not finished yet but still a great spot for kids to go for nighttime movie. Very comfortable . Furniture has a relaxing cottage feel. Great views and swim areas.
