This is a beautiful property! It is so well maintained and equipped for a relaxing stay with family and friends. Florence is a very thoughtful host and it was a great choice for a new vacation tradition with our young adult children!

We want to thank Mrs. Florence for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. We had a blast and it was a perfect place for the weekend. She communicated every step of the way, from booking to checkout. My brother and I were baptized in the river and re-dedicated our lives to Yeshua. We look forward to going back again. My husband and I frequent the Blue Ridge area to visit, but this was our first stay at this property. The home, the water view and host gave us an excellent stay. We were so comfortable and relaxed at this home and didn't want to leave. Loved having our morning coffee out on the screened porch listening to the stream. Our dog loved the stream and large yard as well : ) Will definitely be back.

Florence was a great communicator, from the initial booking, to wishing us safe travels home. The cabin is beautiful and in such a beautiful location. The amenities are great and the cabin is well furnished. We hope to make this an annual trip.

We had a wonderful stay. Cabin was very clean and welcoming. Despite not catching any fish, my kids had a great time trying. It was also fun keeping up with the water releases at the dam and watching the river levels change. This is a very nice neighborhood, and we enjoyed walks down the road in the evenings. Will definitely be return guests!

Florence the host/owner is so easy to communicate with and quick with responses. The house is beautiful, quaint and cozy, has everything you need including wood for the fire pit. Does not feel like a rental, Feels like you’re staying with a friend. Beautiful property.

Loved our stay

Learned how to fly fish right out of the backyard! Spent most of the time in the screened lanai listening to the river. Relaxing time with great restaurants close by in Blue Ridge.

Spring break

Fabulous week at the river cottage we all had a blast. Ideal location great to multiple activities- downtown blue ridge, amicola falls, ect. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful riverside stay!

The property was just as described and was absolutely beautiful. The house is well maintained and a short drive to town for restaurants and groceries. The kitchen was well stocked and spending the evenings relaxing on the screened deck was perfect. Would definably recommend this place.

Probably our favorite VRBO we've ever stayed at! Everything about Florence's home is thoughtful and comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute here. You can tell that a lot of love went into this home. From the amazing outdoor areas for lounging and fishing to the hot tub and screen porch, we made the most of all the property has to offer. We can't wait to come back!

Enjoyed our stay!

The clean, comfortable cabin had everything my husband, teenage sons and I needed to enjoy a long weekend. We loved hanging out by the river, fishing, and grilling. We threw the football in the big, flat yard and enjoyed the hot tub and going into Blue Ridge to the many restaurants and shops.
