10 posti letto (4Q, 2T) Questa casa di tronchi isolata e lussuosa di 3.200 piedi quadrati è straordinaria e perfetta per la tua prossima vacanza in montagna. Gli ospiti di questa unità godono di aria fresca di montagna e di viste maestose sui ponti e portici di 1800 piedi quadrati. C'è una veranda riparata al largo della zona cucina e c'è anche un "ponte da pranzo" con mobili in noce americano fatti a mano e un barbecue a gas. Questa casa di tronchi era arredata in modo professionale, quindi ogni stanza è arredata in modo confortevole e bello. Ci sono quattro camere da letto e tre bagni e mezzo che rendono facile dormire fino a dieci persone con letti queen size e televisori in ogni camera da letto e un letto a rotelle doppio in una delle camere da letto al piano superiore. La camera da letto al piano inferiore è allestita come una suite con una zona soggiorno e un camino a gas. Quindi puoi portare la tua famiglia allargata o i tuoi amici! Questa camera ha anche una TV, un lettore DVD e un videoregistratore. La camera da letto al piano principale ha una TV, un lettore DVD e una vasca idromassaggio nel bagno principale. Il soggiorno è invitante e decorato meravigliosamente con un camino a gas e un armadio con TV, lettore DVD e impianto stereo. La cucina di grandi dimensioni è spaziosa e completamente attrezzata con due forni separati e attrezzature per cucinare di alta gamma, tra cui un robot da cucina, una stufa Jen Air e tutto il necessario per preparare un pasto completo. Al piano superiore in questa casa a tre livelli sono due camere da letto e un bagno. La camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale ha una piccola TV e lettore DVD e l'altra camera ha un divano letto matrimoniale e un letto matrimoniale. La casa è inoltre dotata di TV satellitare, lavatrice e asciugatrice e molto altro. Anche il paesaggio di questa unità è stato recentemente ampliato con nuove pareti rocciose e aggiornamenti apportati all'area del pozzo del fuoco. Ricorda che questa unità è vietata fumare. This property is absolutely gorgeous! Decorated beautifully and generously stocked. Plenty of seating inside and out. The beds are very comfortable. Very quiet and yet close to everything. The driveway is definitely very STEEP but manageable. I thank Foscoe Rentals for being so responsive and helpful from the reservation process right through checkout! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Our stay at Sticks n Stones was fantastic. The staff at Foscoe rentals was very attentive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The house itself was clean and well supplied and the listing was very accurate. We had 7 adults and 2 children (ages 5 and 6) and had plenty of room (sleeps 10) plenty of bathrooms (3.5) and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook and clean. As others have mentioned, the driveway was pretty steep but nothing that wasn't manageable. The porches were well supplied with seating including lots of rocking chairs and a outdoor dining area. Overall would give it 5/5 stars and would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful home. Great location. Plenty of parking for our two families. House had everything we needed. While the management company was responsive, we wish we didn’t have had to call to report that we had to clean the exterior spaces, the gas grill was broken (propane tank was full as we requested but grill was not working), and televisions in top bedrooms did not work. Given all that, we would rent this home again!

Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home. Things to note: the driveway is STEEP! At the time we were staying, the downstairs did have a light odor to it. But the kitchen was wonderful and loved all the seating options. Great for three families as we each had our own floor.

Overall, the property itself was nice and has potential. However, the inside bottom level of this house was uninhabitable. No one could stay downstairs on that level as the smell of dampness and mold was absolutely unbearable. We had to share the rooms upstairs as we couldn’t use the bottom floor at all. While I realize we are deep in the woods, the outside needed a serious tidy and clean. The bedroom on the main level needs a window covering on the door out to the porch for privacy and the porch itself needs some kind of security latch. The two TVs upstairs did not work and the lighting wasn’t quite enough to brighten up the rooms. On a positive note, the kitchen was fantastic and well equipped, as well as a very serene setting with wraparound porch and plenty of seating. Overall this was a very nice property in a beautiful location, however if you have any medical or breathing issues I would not recommend this house due to the dampness and mold situation.

Great get away stay

Lots of room for 4 couples. Beautiful views at the house and on the drive to it. Easy commute to Boone, Blowing Rock and hiking trails.. A couple minor issues with shower knobs.

Great stay

Really enjoyed the house and the furnishings. Had everything we needed and then some. Stayed with our children ages 14 - 22. Everyone had a great time and loved the house. Will rent again when in the area.

Wonderful Property

House was beautiful with plenty of room for our family. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful decks to enjoy the perfect weather. Great location not far from The Game Keeper where we had an amazing dinner. Short drive into blowing rock and great hiking. Loved our stay! Thank you!

Home was clean and very well appointed. Spacious bedrooms and plenty of dining space. Driveway was not ideal and is a bit steep.

Mother's 1st mountain trip at age 70

The home was beautuful and we had everything we needed right there. It was very spacious and clean. Beautiful scenery and saw a lot if wildlife. She was sad she didnt get to see any bears but she really enjoyed herself.

Sticks and Stones is a beautiful home! My family enjoyed our stay so much! We loved the large kitchen/dining/family area where we could gather to eat and play games. We loved the views and feeling surround by God's creation. The home is conveniently located to attractions but nestled far enough away to be private. As others have stated, the driveway is very steep and was a little slick with leaves that had fallen. We cleared those away and had no trouble once we figured out how to strategically park our four vehicles. Just keep in mind you will likely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle if there's snow on the driveway. Thanks for a great visit!

This is a beautiful, comfortable home. We enjoyed it so much. The location was perfect for visiting the area. You do need the four wheel drive for the driveway which is steep. We would love to come back when we can enjoy the beautiful porches! It was a little cold for that this trip. But the skiing was great!

Family Vacation

The property was a perfect fit for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, large family room with fireplace, and comfortable beds with ample bathrooms. The driveway was steep and took a little practice. Ample room for two cars up by the house and one car partway up the drive.

A peaceful stay in the woods

A wonderful stay surrounded by nature. We had a large Buck roaming the grounds followed by a few white tails- the weather was frosty and cold with beautiful fireplaces! The kitchen was very well stocked. We didn't get to use the firepit outside due to the rain but we had a blast catching up with our friends. We can't wait to come back!
