Great Location for a Leelanau Stay

Perfect location in Leland with access to Lake Michigan down the road and an easy walk to town. The owners are easy to communicate with and create a great space for their guests.

Great stay!

We have stayed at this property in the past and truly enjoyed our stay both times. The location near Lake Michigan is great. The house is just the right size for our family of 5 and everything needed for our stay is available in the home. We hope to stay here again in the near future!

Gorgeous location

The location and layout of this house was absolutely perfect for our group, which included 8 and 10 year old children, my husband and me, and my parents. We loved being so close to the beach, and the house was incredibly clean with many small touches that made for a very comfortable stay.

Family Vacation in Leland

We love staying at the Elliott house. Great location in relation to town and Lake Michigan. We’ll equipped home with plenty of space and clean! Our favorites in the area… Dune Bird Winery, Riverside for a nice dinner, Mad Cap for coffee and Farm Club for the best farm to table meal!

Perfect Leland house

This beautiful and spotless home is down the street a from the beach one way, and town in the other direction. It has everything needed for grilling out or cooking in. Enough space for our teens to spread out in their own rooms, and the table tennis in the basement was a fantastic bonus. Will stay there again!

Leland family get together

This was our fourth year staying in the Elliott House. This house is a fantastic rental property. It is very well stocked, has comfortable beds, many towels, and beach towels. The new gas grill this year was a welcome addition. We love the location and had a great time using the kayaks.

Leland Family Reunion

We loved staying in this beautiful home. Normally we rent on the water so being in town was new and very enjoyable. The house was even better than the pictures and the description. I messaged the owner twice and he got right back to me. Really nice.

Great location and great property! Only very minor item we found is the ice machine latch in freezer was broken…but having the ice trays was a great alternative! Everything else was wonderful!

Great Stay

Fit our family well. Walkability to beach and town was fabulous. Kids were able to ride their bikes too. Short drives to Neddows Beach, Hancock Field, and the school playground. The property manager was prompt in her responses to us. We hope to return next year.

Better than hoped for

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Elliott house. Although the pictures are great, the house is even better in person. So roomy, yet cozy & warm at the same time. We loved the screened in porch for breakfast, card games, drinks in the afternoon & evening. This house is a short walk to anything you may be looking for. Any questions we had for the care taker were quickly answered. This house is thoughtfully & efficiently arranged. Highly recommend. A bit disappointed that the outdoor shower was not working but the master bath made up for it.

Fantastic Leland Home

Loved the property! We were pleasantly surprised to find the online listing was wrong, and there were 3 1/2 baths (as opposed to only 1 1/2). The beds were very hard, and could've used a nice pillow-top mattress pad. Our party was concerned about the possibility of the wooden stairs being slippery. We also would've liked some personalized information about the area, such as a wine trail map, details about Sleeping Bear Dunes, or where we could find the closest market for any food or beverage needs. Otherwise, the home was clean, and in the perfect location. This is a must-stay the next time we visit the area.

Thank you for all the information about your concerns about Elliott house. We are always wanting to improve. Sorry the local information wasn’t available. We usually have it out for our guests. I was unable to get over and greet you all but hope you enjoyed your stay. It is a lovely spot and we are glad we can share it with you all. By the way. I have tried many time to change the bathrooms on the listing. With and without VRBO support. Short of redoing the listing it will not change😩 Thanks again Linda

This home has a fantastic location and is close to both fishtown and the beach. The bedrooms were decent size and great amount of open space in living room for relaxing or game playing. The front porch was a lovely feature too. Basement was great for kids to play. No complaints!

Elliott House

This was a great location. We had never stayed in Leland before and this was within walking distance of town and all the restaurants. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels and paper products. I will stay here again next year.

The house is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood in Leland. It is a very short walk to the Lake Michigan beach and a short walk to the shops and sights of Leland. This is our second time there, and we hope to stay there again in the future.
