Great Rockies Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Idyllic quiet setting in the Rockies, just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) and the charming town of Grand Lake. Perfect spot for day hikes in the park or exploring the local surroundings. Cabin was well equipped, spacious and great view of Grand Lake and the Rockies. Highly recommend for a quiet get away and chance to enjoy and explore both RMNP and Grand Lake.

Great stay. Watch out for the cow moose. She made an appearance in the driveway as she strolled down the slope. Great time even with some rain and cool temps.

5 Stars!!

Unbelievable views. We had such a great time sitting on the covered patio and enjoying the views. It fit our group perfectly. The check in process was easy as well as the waste disposal. Very close to downtown Grand Lake. Really the only improvement would be a new grill. The thermometer was not correct and there was essentially no regulation on the burners. It was either very high or very low. No in between. But, that was only a minor inconvenience. This home was unbelievable and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be back!

Overall, nice stay.

Overall, our stay was nice and Grand Lake is wonderful area. I don't think our rental was vacuumed prior to use coming and I had to clean out their vacuum when I got there, and Re-vacuum and it was pretty nasty. The kitchen floor felt like it had not been mopped either, by feet were pretty dirty after being barefoot in the kitchen. Also, the pots & pans were awful... everything sticks to them. I see why they had bartender's friend underneath the sink, I spent a lot of time making sure those pans were spotless so to make sure we got our deposit back. I would not recommend it for old people and or people with hip issues, the stairs are a bit rough unless you don't plan on leaving the property a bunch (But that would be crazy). The inside stairs are very weirdly done, and not a consistent size, so definitely would use caution going up and down them. I think having to pay the cleaning fees, and then having to clean the property to stay in it, and then recleaning it before you leave kind of takes away a lot and I felt like we paid a lot of money and had to do a lot of work. It wasn't worth the price in my opinion. If they dropped the price, maybe.

Great Place to Stay

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4 to bring in the New Year. The mountain and lake views were SO beautiful from the deck! It was amazing waking up and drinking coffee to that view every morning. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and it had a huge family table to eat together and play games. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Overall pleasing stay

The view is incredible and the property is clean & comfortable. Saw a mama and two baby deer outside one morning. Having to deal with a 3rd party rental company (lack of flexible check-in, extra paperwork, waiting weeks for security deposit refund) despite renting a VRBO is a little frustrating.

Great views

Reviewer Comments: The home was great. Views from the side deck were just amazing looking down on Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake and the mountains. Appreciated all of the furniture (tables and chairs, and outdoor sofa and coffee table) out there. Kitchen had plenty of supplies for all our cooking needs. The grill on the deck was also appreciated. We would definately recommend this place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got to the property after dark - its not easy to find in the dark fir sure, and the only keys that worked were upstairs. But in the AM when we walked onto the deck I cried it was such an incredible view!!! The house is gorgeous inside and out!! We literally sat outside on the deck for probably 6-7 hours just soaking in the beauty ! HIGHLY recommend ! Just get there before sunset !

Thank goodness for the deck

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The deck was the best place to be. That being said, it could & should have been maintained better and the chairs should be replaced. It is desperately in need of maintenance outside. If the garage wasn’t supposed to be used just say so instead of having weeds growing so high they almost cover the door. Get a new cleaner to clean -not much confidence when the previous guest’s swimsuit is still hanging from the bedroom door knob.

Nice House with Great Lake View

Very nice accommodations with a patio that had spectacular views that we enjoyed with coffee and cocktails. We would definitely stay here again. Only a few minutes to the heart of town.

Gorgeous Views! The deck is a vibe!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has a great location with fantastic views! The deck made the whole house worth it. Feedback: I did not like having to go into town to get the keys after a long day of travel. You will also have to take the keys back upon check out. You also will have to dispose of your own trash in town and they gave us no additional trash bags. It is a bit difficult to find at first and the rental company will not give you the exact address which is a little frustrating. They do give you a map, but it's not great. We dropped a pin and everyone in our group found it with GPS with no issues. I was disappointed we had to buy toilet paper and hand soap for the house - I felt like a basic motel would have had those accommodations. It was also a bummer that the sliding glass door was broken. I asked them about this and they told me to just use the front door and walk around to the deck. The TV also didn't work, but that was OK as we just wanted to be outside on the deck. The house was a little warm too - no fans were provided. I felt the bathrooms were not very clean! There were also bumble bees and wasps in the house.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular view!

We loved staying here… the new deck is amazing and we loved watching the fireworks right from the deck! Great deck furniture. Well stocked kitchen! Nice grill. Loved the Keurig and Alexa! Close to town! Great time!!!!

Fantastic Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed in the Rustic Inn for a week over Christmas vacation, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We absolutely LOVED the dining room area and spent most of our time there. We had gorgeous views and saw the fireworks on New Year's Eve. We snowmobile when we come out to Grand Lake and loved how easy it was to get to the trail from the house. The mud room downstairs was such a great space for our gear and boots.
