A Heavenly View and boy was it! Enjoyed four nights!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This mountain house is perfect for one or two couples. The house was very clean and had what you needed for comfort. The kitchen was nice and had everything you needed; maybe some larger mugs. Convenient to highway 221 and downtown. We had a great time.

Our heavenly stay in West Jeff

A week spent for work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I come to WJ a few times a year for work. This stay was perfect to come home after a busy day and relax. I also had a place to work right at the kitchen/dining table. The ability to wash my laundry before leaving was also great. I would only recommend having a tv in the downstairs bedroom.

Property was as described and pictures reflected accurately. The house was very clean and was well maintained. It was close to grocery store and restaurants. Only 30 minutes or so from Boone and close to the parkway. A great place to visit and relax on the porch while looking at the beautiful views!

Everything was great except the dishwasher had to be emptied before leaving which meant staying another hour. Much better to start dishwasher before leaving and have the cleaning service we paid for put dishes away.

My wife had a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The cabin in very nice and very quiet location. We would stay here again.

The house was perfect! Clean with everything we needed. The views magnificent! The weather was rainy and cold most of the week but that did not bother us at all. Sat in front of the fireplace and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Enjoyed the firepit when not raining. Would definitely recommend this home and will likely stay here again.

Glade Scents in every room to cover up pronounced personal body odors permeating the interior, in particular the bedrooms. The covers reeked of cologne and the towels and sheets did not appear to be laundered properly and also smelled bad. They need to get rid of the massive mattress pillow topper as it also strongly smells and does nothing to alleviate a blownout mattress. To make matters worse, there were only screens on the front of the windows, so no air flow when temps dropped to 60 degrees and the AC wouldn't run. The owner's slept there the night before. We cut our trip short and left the next morning.Truly, it is a nice, well appointed cabin and clean with exception of the covers, duvets, mattress topper and oh so many Glade deodorizers!

Beautiful View and Cozy Cabin

We had a great stay at "A Heavenly View." The view was beautiful, especially from the side porch. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the using the firepit. The host was very responsive and always helpful. We would stay here again.

School break vacation

Property was clean, easy to find, close to area restaurants, beautiful view, easy made reservations, great communications, all amenities in cabin were in excellent working order, and our stay was very pleasant. Would definitely do again.

Beautiful winter stay

The property was just as expected. It was the perfect cozy winter getaway for my husband’s birthday. There were Christmas decorations up and on when we arrived. The property included everything we needed.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views from the house. We took our two small dogs for a hike at Mount Jefferson State Natural Area and on the Greenway in Boone and visited Blowing Rock. The foliage there was beautiful. We also enjoyed a couple of restaurants in West Jefferson during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant.
