Heaven on Earth for anyone looking to get away and find peace in nature. The lodge was everything the photos suggest and more. Hosts Phil and Patty were extremely responsive to a small issue we encountered early in our stay and got things resolved in no time.

We loved the house!! Can't wait to go back next year for our annual trip! The layout is perfect. Three bedrooms are right off of the living room which is perfect; everyone had their own private rooms but we were still near each other. We really enjoyed hanging out in the game room and in the large dining/family room and truly enjoyed cooking on the indoor grill. It was just a perfect house and and comfortably fit about 10 people. We loved the warm cabin feel mixed with modern features and appliances. The house looks just like what you see in the pictures. Again, can't wait to go back!

Hosts were responsive & the house was a great stay! We did have an issue with one of the toilets towards the end of the trip, but the host was quickly able to remedy.It was the perfect place to gather friends, the outdoor area was great for fires, the hot tub was clean and overall a very homey vibe in the house.

Close to Hunter Mountain for the skiers in the family. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and have their own space.

Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and necessary items. Rooms were clean. All amenities working as described. Only feedback would have been to supply more initial toilet paper and a roll of paper towels for kitchen as there was none in some bathrooms when we got to the house. Also would have appreciated more plates and bowls in kitchen for some constructive feedback.

This cabin was amazing, deer, turkeys, chipmunks, blue jays and an assortment of other birds were on the property all weekend. The cabin was amazing.

perfect Catskills getaway

My friends and I pick a new place to hike every year and along with that a different rental. This home was by far our favorite of all the places we've stayed. It was clean, set up well, plenty of great spaces inside and out! Areas to gather as a group, play games, watch tv, talk and laugh, and plenty of areas if you wanted some quiet time alone to read or nap. Simply great!

Lovely peaceful location

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were great - a huge garden and total privacy and peace. The house itself had everything we needed, although it was not quite as modern as we had expected and did get quite stuffy without air con, especially in one of the bedrooms. It was well located for a number of great Catskill activities and the newly installed jacuzzi was a welcome feature.

Great Hidden Large Gem

It is close to many little towns and Hunter but secluded and quiet. Spent four relaxing days here. There are many places to spread out and the large grill was amazing. The Gameroom was a nice touch. Overall very comfortable bedrooms and living area. The bonus was outdoor spaces with choices on 3 different sides some shaded some in the sun.

We enjoyed this house so much! It rained our entire stay but the house really made up for it. We ate most of our meals out on the big deck right off the kitchen (might not be pictured) even during the heavy rain because there is a roof over the deck. The owners were quick to respond and check in was easy. We hope to be back next summer.

Wonderful NYC reset

Some of pictures of this place doesn’t do justice, spacious comfortable well thought out….wife and I and our dog were here mid August - perfect weather - all sort of stores and restaurants near by - one of the best places to grill and relax we have encountered - if you into the snow activities this place well - very well - set up for those needs

Remote Escape

Off the beaten track on a large private parcel of land, this was the remote escape we sought. The mown grass area around the house is huge, perfect for our pooch to explore in safety. We enjoyed the outside fire pit, the very large, multi-windowed BBQ room and the Jacuzzi. The lounge area was very comfortable. The bedrooms are modestly sized but we slept like logs so did not care! There are not many stores in Jewett but we discovered a great coffee shop in Hunter about 10 minutes away and an excellent grocery store in Tannersville about 20 minutes away.

very cozy and quiet place for short vacation stay

Very gorgeous place, surrending by woods. Quiet and cozy. I love the sun room and a large backyard with fire place. There is an pple tree at side. Everyday there a 2 deers came to eat apples. Be aware there is chipmunk running in the house. I dont know how he/she get in and out, just be careful if you left any food on the dinning table in the kitchen.
