Location, Location, Location .... a poco più di un'ora da DC e Baltimora, la nostra accogliente casa si trova a circa 5 minuti a piedi dai bellissimi fiumi Shenandoah e Potomac. Inoltre, a circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'Appalacian Trail e dal Historic Downtown Harpers Ferry. Vicino a molte cantine e birrifici locali! Se le montagne, i fiumi e le escursioni non sono abbastanza eccitazione; Hollywood Casino di Charles Town è a meno di dieci minuti di auto !!

Caratteristiche della casa 2 camere da letto arredate con un bagno completo attaccato a ciascuna. Anche un mezzo bagno fuori dall'atrio. Ampio soggiorno, patio con uscita e soffitti di 9 piedi. Ottimi alloggi per fughe romantiche o famiglie, coppie, kayakisti, escursionisti, ciclisti, appassionati di storia o chiunque ami i panorami meravigliosi, tanto da fare e paesaggi meravigliosi. Ha un camino; ma attualmente non in uso per motivi assicurativi. WIFI GRATIS.
La mia casa può ospitare comodamente 4 persone: un letto matrimoniale in ogni camera. Possiamo anche fornire un materasso Queen Air che può essere utilizzato nel piano inferiore LR per dormire una coppia o bambini aggiuntivi.

La cucina è completamente attrezzata (pentole / padelle / piatti) e comprende anche piccoli elettrodomestici forniti di spezie, carta, ecc.

House è dipinta di fresco, moquette nuova, pavimenti in piastrelle di ceramica in cucina, lavastoviglie, lavatrice e asciugatrice e altre caratteristiche accomodanti.

Il treno Marc per la Washington DC Union Station è a pochi minuti di auto. Casinò Charles Town Racing e Hollywood e tutti i principali negozi inclusi Walmart è a 10 minuti di auto.

This place has the potential to be wonderful. Good location. Good communication. The problem was it wasn't clean and warren went cheap, not having basic amenities like dish towels, soap in showers, etc.

House was thoroughly cleaned before guest arrival, even though the house cleaner had to do a rush job because guests requested a free early check-in which we accommodated. If you read other reviews, most guests compliment how clean the house is and how well stocked. The minute they arrived, they texted stating there was no dishwasher soap. I told them it was under sink, and they found it. There is clean hand towels/dish towels, extra linens, etc in both closets upstairs. There is courtesy size bath soaps, shampoos, gels, lotions in bathroom cabinets. Next, they texted there was no laundry detergent. There was some there, but it was almost empty. Most guests staying only 2 days, do not do laundry and/or bring thier own laundry detergent, but I aplogized anyway. They Demanded laundry detergent, so I drove to store to buy some, then a 1 hour and 30 minute round trip to drop off some detergent for them. Most hotels and vrbo's I have stayed at do not provide Laundry detergent for free, but we usually do. With that being said, We strive to provide lots of amenities for our guests.

It was quiet and close to downtown, the wineries and white water rafting. The couch was comfier than the beds, and the showers had good water pressure.

A great property and property owner making for a smooth stay. This property is better than described and well worth the price. Falling into the couch after a storm riddled drive was the highlight of my day. House was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything necessary to make breakfast. Bathrooms very clean and with enough towels for us plus a small army I needed assistance Friday night, Warren responded quickly with a caring attitude ready to help. After returning home, I realized that I had left a few things behind on accident, again Warren responded quickly with that same caring attitude. On a last minute trip where a few things didn't go as planned this property stepped up as the best choice we made.

The property was nice, clean. Two master suites upstairs. Cute kitchen open living/dining room combo downstairs. W/D work well. It was too hot the weekend we went to use the outside patio or barbeque grill. WiFi is spoty, especially at night, and upstairs (probably needs a WiFi extender). Also, our cellphones didn't work in the mountains except for emergency phone calls. Messenger works though when you're connected to WiFi! Lots of wineries to visit. Loved the wineries Breaux and Hillsborough! Too hot to see all of Harpers Ferry when we came but it is really close to the house! Couldn't find the ghost tour though?! The turn into the property is steep and has a bump, so be careful! But all-in-all, we had a great time! Walmart is close if you forget or need anything.

Great Location

Quick to downtown, “The Barn” right around the corner was a great spot. Easy access to main highways to hop over to other towns and wineries in the area.

Snow tubing and hiking

Great location for our kids and animal friends to enjoy harpers ferry. We enjoyed snow tubing and hiking. Definitely recommend for families!

Great Location

The home was great for our group of 6. It was also close to many of the local attractions. About a 5 minute drive to the main town and 10 minutes from tubing and the local brewery.

Great weekend getaway

This property was in a perfect location, convenient to lower HF, trails, the national park, breweries and restaurants. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the owner supplied towels, coffee, toilet paper, etc. The neighborhood was quiet as well. A great overall stay.

This is all about the location. Great location walkable to Harpers Ferry which is why we booked here. The house itself is ok. Needs new carpet and some updates . We noticed our clothing gathered pet hair as we sat on furniture

Sorry for the problem. Our previous guest did not inform us of having pets. Our house keepers must not have thoroughly checked and cleaned the couch and loveseat. I will inform them to be sure to check after every guest.

Great stay

Duplex is exactly as advertised. Nice, clean, and nice safe area. River rafting is within a mile. Harpers ferry lower town is a mile hike on Appalachian Trail. I would stay again if in the area.

House was perfect for our stay. Very clean and tidy. Fresh flowers were a nice addition. Host got back to us quickly with answers to our questions. Nice location close to tubing, wineries and the historic attractions

We had no problems communicating with the host or checking into the property. He was very responsive. The problem was the appearance of the property. It needs a big refresh. Here are a few of the issues: The bedding looked old and somewhat stained - we wondered whether it had been changed between guests. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The outdoor patio, referenced in the description, was very cluttered with junk and dirty. The bathroom sink stopped-up on the first use. The air mattress did not hold air and deflated while sleeping on it. The internet was very slow and spotty. One positive - the location was very convenient to Harper's Ferry.

We strive for complete comfort and cleanliness. As you can see in many of our reviews, other guests remark that our place is very clean and comfortable. All linens and towels are laundered and fresh and changed between every guest stay. The carpet has been routinely cleaned and is vacuumed before every guest checks in. The patio furniture is Outdoor furniture; sorry, but it often gets covered by pollen right after we clean it this time of year. The sink stopper was down, the sink not clogged. We provide an air mattress per guest request. We were not aware of a leak. The air mattress has been removed and will be checked. Finally, we have no control over WiFi issues. Last time a guest called us with issues, we contacted the service provider and they identified the problem as a local network issue in area and resolved it promptly. As stated, most of our guests have had a great experience staying with us. We are not perfect, but we do strive to provide excellent service and comfort.

Short notice

We planned our trip last minute and the property owners were very quick getting back to us. We pulled our travel trailer w/ us and they were nice enough to let us park it at their farm. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and close to all the happenings. When we are back in the area we will definitely be booking here! Thanks for everything guys!

Very pretty area, a little tricky since the roads near the residence are really only for one car. We have a big pick up so we were very careful coming and going.
