We loved our stay as it featured lots of space for our family, easy walk to the beach and easy access to pools and bbq. Cant wait to come back.

Early September 2026 Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as described in the listing. Though some furnishings were not as modern as could be, everything worked and provided for a pleasant stay. Check-in was easy, even though we arrived late due to a flight delay. Parking space was at the end of the row and a little difficult to get in and out of due to a nearby garbage bin and a minivan parked in the adjacent space.The location is great - across the street from the beach, a short drive to Wailea, and easy access to nearby businesses. The grounds are well-maintained, with large grass areas, walking paths, trees and plants.Overall, we enjoyed our visit!

Great place to stay

The place was great to stay at. Everything was just as advertised. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The teenagers in my party loved the location and as a parent I had no worries about them going out on their own.

The Happy Place

We were more than pleased with this accommodation and location. Proximity to many beaches, as well as restaurants and excellent cinnamon buns was amazing. We would book again!

Maui vacation

The property was outstanding! It was very well stocked with everything you need. The location of the unit was perfect right next to the pool, which the kids loved! Great location close to everything we would definitely stay here again.

Our favorite at Kamaole Sands!

We come to Maui several times a year and Kamaole Sands is our favorite place to stay and this condo is our favorite condo at Kam Sands. Always clean and supplied with everything you need for a great vacation. We love the 2 bedrooms on one level.

Great trip

Second visit to Kamaole Sands and once again had a great time. Weather was great and enjoyed ourselves. If reading this review and are here on a Tuesday you have to get fish or pork tacos at Fred Mexican restaurant.

Great place for a getaway!

This unit was clean, cozy and full of amenities! It was one of the nicest units in which I have stayed, and I have stayed at Kamaole Sands several times. The staff at check-in were cordial and helpful. I had absolutely no issues with this unit and will look for it again when I come back to Kihei!

Family Moon

Postponed family vacation that turned into my daughters “Family Moon”. Enjoyed the clean comfortable accommodations. Easy walk to the beach & close by food/beverages. Morning snorkeling before breakfasts & off site adventures. Lavender Farm, Maui Wine, Haleakala Sunset, Lahaina & Alchemy Maui, Iao Valley, Hana, and of course Maui Brewing we’re all things we enjoyed. Would definitely stay at Kamaole Sands again!!!

Great location and property

Great place for families. The property was clean and spacious. The beds aren’t comfortable for my own standards but that’s to be expected when sleeping elsewhere. There were extra beach towels/ sand toys/boogie boards and Umbrellas for use. The grounds were very beautiful and serene. The pool was warm especially for an evening swim. The beach was just across the street. There was also plenty of restaurants/ convince stores/ shops and plenty of shave ice places just a short walk away.

Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was as stated for our stay at 2-301 Kamaole Sands in Kihei. The condo was comfortable and an easy place to come home to in the evening. BBQ's were easy to use and kitchen was well-stocked. Close proximity to the Kamaole beaches and a short walk to coffee, cinnamon buns, shaved ice, restaurants and local shops. Beach towels and 2 beach chair were available - would be nice to have 4 beach chairs. Overall a great trip and would recommend staying here.

There was only 1 thing that was a little problematic, the window covering at the sliding door to the lanai/patio was broken so we had to climb behind that to enter and exit the unit. Something that could very easily be fixed - we would absolutely stay there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in 2-301 for 2 weeks as part of a family vacation. We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of it. Our rental unit was fantastic, very clean, functional, everything worked great, and the view was excellent. Beds were very comfortable, the extra “toys” in the lanai storage were greatly appreciated especially with having young kids on the trip! All in all, we had the time of our lives and this unit helped greatly in making that possible!
