Sea Drift è l'unità di livello inferiore in Sea Mist Cottage. Sea Drift è un appartamento ammobiliato con una camera da letto che si trova a 300 passi da Long Island Sound! Questo appartamento shabby chic ha un tocco nautico che richiede di sedersi e sistemarsi. I servizi della cucina di Sea Drift includono un tostapane, un forno a microonde, un George Forman Grill, una piastra calda, un frigorifero da banco, un frullatore, una caffettiera Keurig e acciaio inossidabile Lavello. Utensili e stoviglie e bicchieri inclusi. Adiacente alla cucina si trova l'accogliente angolo pranzo e l'area relax TV. Il corridoio conduce al bagno e alla camera da letto. L'ampio bagno ha un'accogliente doccia e un funzionale lavabo e specchio. Asciugamani e lenzuola forniti. L'ampia area di stoccaggio offre molto spazio per asciugamani, biancheria e prodotti asciutti. Dall'altra parte della sala c'è la camera da letto che presenta un nuovissimo letto matrimoniale e un grande armadio con un alto cassettone. Lenzuola incluse. La hall d'ingresso offre spazio aggiuntivo per una varietà di articoli. C'è un piccolo patio con una griglia a gas per il vostro uso. L'illuminazione del sensore di luce esterna a LED offre un'ottima illuminazione dalla tua auto alla porta di casa la sera. Il nostro vialetto fuori strada ti consente di parcheggiare l'auto con facilità e convenienza.

Sea Drift dista 1,5 km dalla varietà di ristoranti e negozi del centro di Milford. Le serate di venerdì e sabato saltano a Stonebridge con musica dal vivo e vivaci libagioni e cibo.

Il grande centro commerciale e i principali rivenditori si trovano a pochi chilometri sulla Post Road.

Sea Drift è vicino alle principali autostrade ma sente un mondo a parte il trambusto.
2 miglia a I95 e la strada panoramica Merritt. 10 minuti a RTE .8. 15 minuti a I91

La posizione centrale di Sea Drift lo rende un breve tragitto per i college di New Haven, Bridgeport e Fairfield per la stagione degli affitti accademici o per affitti aziendali a breve termine.

This Milford stay really was in the perfect location, just steps to the beautiful Milford beach and super close to the cute downtown of Milford. The place itself was very quaint and cozy. I was in Connecticut for a work assignment and the other great part about this stay was it's proximity to the highway. Peter was a very responsive host and gave great local recommendations. This would be the perfect summer stay. Plenty of street parking, neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Perfect locations and great accommodations!

Had a wonderful 3 month stay at Peter’s apartment. Too cold to enjoy the beach, but perfect location for beach goers...enjoyed walking in the sand. Peter was readily available and prompt. Would love to visit again!

We could not have ask for a better place to stay. We were close to everything we came to see and do.

This was my first time and it was really easy, was nervous at first. We will be back next year for sure.

For overs of the beach

Funky space that worked well for us for one month while we were in between properties. Quiet and beach is right there. Loved access to Silver Sands State Park.

Lovely area and space

This is a terrific space for one person for a long term stay. I was here two months and got quite comfortable. I always wanted to live in a beach community in the off season. The light on the beach in the mornings was amazing. I really enjoyed my time here.

Amazing vacation dpot

My husband and I needed a getaway and beach time. We are so pleased with sea drift and the host was so nice and welcoming. The place had all our needs walk to beach in 2 mins and all restaurants are about 10 to 15 minute drive. Great food and drinks. We definitely would come back. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

Walnut Beach

Cannot say enough how much I enjoyed staying here. Nothing beats being right across from the ocean. It definitely felt like home. If I had to be quarantined, it would be here. Absolutely recommend it for a beach get away or for any travel nurses looking for a place to stay.

Beach Hideaway

Reminds me of a Surfer Dude pad! :) Good for anyone interested in taking advantage of the beaches, bike trails and boating in the area. Great walk ability to Boardwalk, Silver Sands and Town.

Extended summer stay

I rented Sea Drift cottage for a long term stay summer 2023 while I was co-opportunity for a company in Trumbull. The place was perfect for my needs. Peter was a great host. He is very kind and very helpful. The location is quiet and safe. I highly recommend!

Peter ( “Doc”) The Chill Superhost

We loved our stay at the Sea Drift! And Peter, the best host of any VRBO we’ve stayed. The beach was steps away, a cozy casual vibe… kayaks to Charles Island… Everything we needed and wanted, plus a beautiful garden to wake up and have coffee. On nights we didn’t feel like cooking or driving the Greek Spot was a short walk away. Just what The Doc ordered!.

Sea Drift

The property manager was pleasant and very accommodating. The rental is cluttered and also used as storage. Property is below upper living quarters, walking and plumbing could be heard throughout the night. The rental is located a couple hundred feet from Long Island Sound Beach and made for great morning walks.

Relaxing, Quiet Beach Location

We stayed at the Sea Drift to celebrate our 11th anniversary. We wanted a quiet beach location and that is exactly what we got. The Sea Drift is directly across the street from a small, peaceful beach. The apartment was small, perfect for my husband and I . It had all the amenities we needed, including beach chairs and use of kayaks if we wanted. The location is also a short walk to the boardwalk, which we ran in the morning and walked at night. Peter was a great host, responding quickly to questions and even surprising us with a bottle of wine for our anniversary. He also had great recommendations for food. We hope to return to Milford some time in the future!

Close to the beach!

We stayed July 2024 and it was perfect for us. Married couple in our mid 50s in town for a week to hang out with/near our duaghter in Milford. We walked Silver Sands and Walnut Beach - the house has some beach access across the street but Silver Sands is so close so we walked there instead. The apartment is as advertised. It's pretty small, but has everything you need, including plenty of paper towels, soaps, etc. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning and wifi worked great. The price was right for the size and the beach proximity. Must be comfortable parallel parking, as the street gets busy, but we always found a spot within a block or so. Peter answered questions quickly and was very nice, but didn't bother us otherwise (he lives upstairs). We will definitely stay again if our dates line up!

Being across from the beach was lovely and the reason I booked this place. The actual space itself left much to be desired.The communication was fine at first then got confusing, indirect and frustrating. It served its purpose but I would not stay here again.

The guest said she was leaving early and requested a refund on the remaing days. I politely told her that according to my cancelation policy that I could not offer a refund for stays cut short. Strict/No-Refund Policies: For "strict" or "firm" policies, hosts are within their rights to keep the full payout for the blocked dates. As a small business owner, I rely on the the income from my rental property. So please, consider reviewing my past reviews on my communication skills and the satisfaction of my guests on their past stays.

Sea Drift Cottage

I stayed with Peter @ the Sea Drift Cottage while I had my internship at the VA. Peter was great during my stay and was very helpful and responsive. Communication was great and he was very open. I spent 10 weeks here and its a beautiful location, literally steps from the ocean. There is a wonderful park with a beach and walking trails within walking distance. The town of Milford has plenty of shops and restaurants.

Sea Drift “fit the bill” perfectly for us! It’s in a great location and very well-equipped for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated all the amenities provided , the off-street parking, and the responsiveness and helpfulness of the host, Peter. We highly recommend it!

Great Beach Location

Peter our host was very friendly. We enjoyed our conversations. Since we formally lived in Milford we knew our way around. Silver Sands State Park was just a 5 min. walk from our location and a very nice beach with amenities. Across the street was a public access to the beach which was perfect. Our shabby chic apartment was comfortable and quiet. We would recommend staying at Sea Drift Cottage for a relaxing getaway.

A sweet getaway by the sea

I had a wonderful stay here during the month of August! Firstly, the location can't be beat-- it's just across a quiet road from a beautiful beach, and a stone's throw from Silver Sands State Park. Downtown Milford, which is also within walking distance, is very cute and friendly. The cottage itself is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, clean, and so relaxing. Last (but not least!), Peter is the perfect host. He is gracious, friendly, and very quick to respond to questions and messages. Overall, I highly recommend staying here, and would return in a heartbeat!

Great vacation spot!

Everything about this apartment was spot on. You only need to pack your bathing suit and start relaxing. Quiet neighborhood very close to the beach. Easy to walk or bike to Silver Sands Beach and Walnut Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The house has been completely remodeled. So I just moved right in and threw on my flip flops and walked to the beach.I built Sea Drift so I could rent out Sea Mist Cottage ( my upstairs unit) or Sea Drift and still be in my house!

300 steps to our private beach! Beautiful sunsets ... Kayaking.....feet in the sand....walking the beach any time I feel like it!
