Perfect location for exploring Beaufort. I stayed in the upstairs unit of the carriage house and it was clean, well equipped and exactly as advertised. An easy walk to many attractions. Excellent choice for a visit to this historic and charming town.

The house is in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of most things I downtown. It is quiet and pleasant in every way. This is a return trip to this property. We hope to return often.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, and we really appreciated how welcoming and well-maintained everything was. The condo had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the whole experience was smooth from check-in to check-out. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay!

This was the perfect little getaway! It had everything we needed and more. Conveniently located and a short walk to town. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings with our coffee taking in the beautiful view. Hosts were very nice. We can’t wait to visit again!

The carriage house was immaculate!! Our bed slept really good!! Ellen and Mike were wonderful host they made you feel so welcome and at home!!! We loved how close to the historic downtown of Beaufort it was!! We will be going back hoping next year to stay again in this lovely carriage house.

Fabulous location! Beautiful porch to begin and end days spent exploring, shopping and celebrating a wedding. Everything needed was in the house, but getting out and exploring downtown options for coffee, meals and desserts was awesome!

What a stay! The hosts were amazing and made us feel very comfortable. The little things like: more than enough towels, and array of games / reading materials / soaps and lotions / coffees the list goes on… I wish we could’ve stayed longer and I will definitely be back and stay again. It is easily walkable to a downtown district with foods and views that could keep me busy for a entire summer… but just to sit out on the patio among the Mossy Oak and listen … it’s magical. I would recommend this to anyone .

Our stay can be summed up as delightful and relaxing. Perfect spot to walk around town. Close to art, vintage finds, and great restaurants. Mike and Ellen are hospitality was wonderful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The Wren’s Nest Carriage house is a fantastic site for a couple or also a couple with a guest. The architecture & renovation of this historical building has been carefully planned & executed. You should feel comfortable & rested during your visit.

Really lovely property with welcoming knowledgeable hosts. Great location easy 3 block flat walk to town. Lovely to have a full kitchen although we mostly just stocked the fridge, had occasional snacks and lunches. So many great places to go out nearby! Really charming apartment with gorgeous antiques. All really well maintained. Shower was strong. Linens and towels were immaculate and luxurious. Loads of thoughtful little touches supplied by Ellen like bug spray, beach towels and a cute tote, a little sewing kit if you need it. Plenty of keurig capsules. Ellen even made fresh biscuits for us one day (hot and fluffy so good!). Queen bed in one room, full in the other. We came as a couple which meant we could use the smaller bedroom for our suitcases which was handy. If our son had joined us it would have been a little bit cramped or suitcases would have gone out in the living room area (not a biggie). Only suggestion is bring an eye mask if you need it dark to sleep. I had mine from our flight and was pleased because the light from the living area comes through into the bedrooms. Highly recommend would be delighted to stay again.
