The Hawk's Nest è una baita di legno di nuova costruzione, autentica e artigianale con tutti i comfort moderni. Si trova su un promontorio che domina il fiume Ohio e sereni, terreni agricoli del Kentucky. Situato a cinque minuti da I-64 a Crawford County, Indiana, la cabina è facile da raggiungere. Il sito è simile a un parco e, sebbene non completamente isolato, gli ospiti godono di molta privacy. La cabina contiene un bagno e cucina. Ha anche calore / ac, così come la televisione, buca per il fuoco, grill a gas all'aperto e vasca idromassaggio privata (supplemento di $ 25-fee). Affittare una cabina, rilassarsi e guardare il fiume barche galleggiano!

A hidden gem

The property is amazing, and is an easy drive to all of the local caves that we visited on our stay. The view is just amazing, especially if you are looking for peace and tranquility. While it is not completely secluded, it give the feel of a secluded cabin in the woods with modern amenities, and that was the feel i was looking for. Was also amazing to hear the story of how the cabins came to be. If I am ever back in the area this is where I will be wanting to stay again. Thank you Karen for the amazing experience.

Calm River View Cabin

Great little getaway cabin for 2! Exactly as described. We didn’t use the outdoor hot tub, but it was available for use. The view of the river was perfect from the cabin, as one could see the river bend downstream. Very relaxing.

Awesome Getaway

Hawk's Nest was the perfect spot for a getaway in the country. The cabin was neat and tidy and well equipped. The view was stunning, it was great to watch the birds swooping below the balcony. The owner was close by and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Nice Cabin on Ohio River

We had a nice, relaxing stay at this cabin for New Years Eve. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, especially while sitting in the hot tub! The owner Karen was great to communicate with. We would highly recommend and will definitely consider staying again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The cabin was so perfect for just the two of us. The views were amazing, we saw bald eagles, bats, a pileated woodpecker, and a tiny baby deer, all from the back deck. If you’re looking for something to do, there are a few caves in the area so we chose to do the 2 hour tour of Wyandotte Cave and it was really cool. The hosts do live on the property, but they were very discreet and totally kept to themselves. All in all it was a really great little weekend trip. Highly recommend!

A great weekend on the Ohio river

We had the perfect getaway! The perfect scenary and the absolut nicest host ever. The place was very clean and well taken care of, and it's even better than how it's represented in the pictures!

Weekend getaway

Seat back and relax. The cabin is grate and has everything you need and super clean loved the hot tub The view of the Ohio River was amazing seating on the porch and watching the barges go up and down the river was great Karen the host was very nice and very friendly. If you are looking for a place to relax we would recommend the Hawk- nest.

Hawks neat

We were on a baby moon before our baby comes in March. We just wanted a quiet get away in a cozy cabin. And we got just that. Karen had clearly put in a lot of hard work to make our stay very nice. Very welcoming and informative. She had a booklet of everything you’d need to know that’s is around the area. With lots of detail. Very clean and very nice cabin! We spoke to the owners of the general store right down the road and we thought it was very awesome her husband built these cabins! They’re so nice! We would absolutely recommend this cabin!!!

Perfect Cabin with Amazing View

This small cabin was perfect! One of my favorites I’ve stayed in. My husband and I stayed two nights and it was wonderful. It has views of the river from every inch of the cabin, including the hot tub. It has a smaller dorm fridge/freezer, but they have two, so we had plenty of room for our stuff. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little escape with an amazing view!

Great Views and Beautiful Cabin!

This was a great getaway for our 10 year anniversary. Not as secluded as we would typically select, but you never knew anyone was nearby. The views were incredible! Watching the barges go by during the day was a neat thing to watch. Karen was so responsive and very kind during the check in process. We will definitely be returning.
