Un appartamento recentemente ristrutturato con vista sul fiume Sorgue nella vivace città di L'isle sur la Sorgue. Il luminoso e spazioso Loft al secondo piano offre una vista sul Mont Ventoux a nord e sul centro antico della città a sud.

Lo spazio abitativo è elegantemente decorato con mobili di qualità in tutto con TV / DVD e canali francesi, inglesi e altri canali europei. Wi-Fi ad alta velocità e telefono internet è anche fornito. C'è anche una radio con docking station per iPod se porti la tua musica. La cucina è ben attrezzata con forno ventilato, piano cottura, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, frigorifero e macchina da caffè. Aria condizionata.

Sopra lo spazio abitativo, sul soppalco, la camera da letto ha un letto di qualità di 160 cm (5. 25 piedi) e ha una vista sui tetti della città.

C'è anche un bagno separato con WC, lavandino e doccia.

Nello spazio abitativo, un divano letto può ospitare altre due persone.

Troverete la città vecchia, negozi, ristoranti, fiere d'antiquariato, corsi d'acqua e caffetterie in un paio di minuti a piedi dalla proprietà.

A great location and very comfortable stay. Even with the high heat we were comfortable at night. Overlooking the river was a treat! We actually had apero a couple of nights on the wall overlooking the river watching the boats come in. A little gem in a busy spot!

A wonderful place to stay just on the edge of the old town, very quiet but a 3 minute walk to the action. The only caution would be that if you're over 65 or not in good physical condition there are 42 stairs up to the apt. Not difficult except lugging you suitcases up and down. Otherwise it's a gem!

It was a good place to stay. We had issues with the A/C that could not keep up with the unusual heat wave that was occuring. Also parking was hard to find during the time we were there, which was probably peak tourist season.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. It is true that with temperatures hitting 40 degrees, it can be difficult to keep the indoor temperature below 25 degrees without closing all the curtains and sitting in the dark, which isn't very pleasant. As for the parking, it is indeed peak season, so you sometimes have to wait a bit to find a spot. However, the advantage is that the car park is very large and there is always a place

Perfectly located looking out over the Sorgue River waterway, with one of the historic water wheels … A very comfortable apartment, quiet and with a wonderful window allowing panoramic views and fresh breezes. A short walk to all of the great restaurants and shops… And options for free parking as well. Thank you for a warm bienvenue and orientation to the amenities and sights of the area.

Apartment is in a great location with lovely views of the river, beautifully furnished and clean. Hosts were welcoming and responsive to our questions and changes in our travel plans. Christine greeted us on arrival, showed everything in the apartment, and gave us sightseeing and restaurant tips. They have thought of everything, including instructions for the washer. We highly recommend them and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

We enjoyed our time in the flat and in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue a lot, everything in the flat was as in the description and in perfect condition. Thierry & Christine are very reliable, friendly hosts. I can absolutely recommend staying hhere.

A perfect stay in Ile-sur-la-sorgue

Christine and Thierry were extremely helpful before and during our stay. The apartment is spotless and they have thought of everything. The location is amazing with beautiful river views. The beds are comfortable. All in all a perfect stay. We hope to return soon.

Lovely property in idyllic location

We so enjoyed our stay in this fantastic flat. The property is even prettier and more comfy than the photos and the location is super. Lovely apartment in great location

Apartment was in historic building in quiet location with views to waterway. Lots of free parking nearby. Kitchen and bathroom were modern and very well equipped. Apartment was tastefully furnished and had many thoughtful touches. Warm welcome from our host. A delightful stay.

Wonderful Apartment and Location

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It is a modern apartment inside a lovely old building. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom has the best shower anywhere we have stayed. We liked the proximity to the parking lot. Christine has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful little friendly town. Very well equipped and characterful flat.

The flat is within an original old building right on the river and 5 mins walk to the town Square and it's great range of shops and restaurants. Always found parking near the flat and the kitchen is set up for cooking in, which we did a couple of nights. Don't miss the massive market that takes over the whole town on Sundays. We highly recommend this accommodation and the service provided by Thierry and Christine.

Relaxation!

Wonderful apartment, clean, comfortable and great location. Bed was very comfortable. Apartment is in the centre of town with a short walk to the church and market. Lots of free parking outside the apartment. Very thoughtful hosts, let us check in early and had water, olive oil, coffee and other necessities provided to start our stay. Would recommend to anyone to stay here and would 100% stay again!

Honeymoon

My wife and were in Europe three weeks for our honeymoon and chose this apartment to stay in while enjoying Provence. We preferred the small town feel over Avignon and St Reme, although both were within a 20 minute drive. It was also closer to the hill towns of Gordes and Roussillon which is a real plus. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. The owner was responsive and it’s location within the town was convenient. We would stay there again.

Great start to our 50th Anniversary adventure

I’m so glad that we extended our stay. We certainly enjoyed our first three nights in L’Isle Sur La Sorgue, and continue to enjoy the second three. At this moment, around 7pm on Saturday evening, we have a guitarist serenading us, the sounds of pétanque floating up from the park, and small kid voices and laughter coming from the town side. The nursery school next door provides entertainment on week days. If we ever get back to France, we will try to return to this site.

Great location in town.

Great upgrade by the owners but not for anyone afraid of stairs. Super location for the less than 10 minute walk to many, many restaurants in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Parking is across the street, first come. All appliances were provided along with coffee, water, etc. To get started. Pharmacy very close and supermarket was within 10 minutes walk. Keep in mind Mondays in town are VERY quiet, many restaurants are closed and Thursday market was very busy. All in all a great location to explore the local area.

Exceptional property!

There are not enough words to describe this outstanding property and the amazing hosts! We knew we would be well cared for as Thierry and Christine went above and beyond to meet us in town after hours to transport us to the apartment when we had to alter our transportation to L'Isle. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in the door. Chris and Thierry thought of every detail- water, plush towels, detailed instruction on the apartment/town, and lavender at the bedside. The location in town is perfect for exploring the restaurants, businesses, and of course the market! The apartment overlooks the canal and there is plenty of free parking outside the door. Unfortunately for us, the coronavirus pandemic globally escalated during our stay. We had to urgently return to the US. Thierry helped to facilitate our safe return by assisting us and arranging immediate taxi transport to Marseilles. His accessibility and willingness to help us during this time were exceptional. It goes without saying that we will not hesitate to stay here again when we return to L'Isle.

A great week in Provence

We are on a whirlwind tour of France. Mostly 3-night stays in about 15 different locations. We chose to stay 6 nights in L’Isle Sur Le Sorgue to unwind after very long flights from Hawaii So glad we did, and so glad that we ended up in this VRBO. L’Isle Sur Le Sorgue is a quiet town, except for market days, and this site offered a view of one branch of the river, and nearby parking. We’re visiting France for about two months, so our suitcases are fairly loaded, and parking right outside our window was ideal. I’ve deliberately held off writing this review till we have experienced more VRBO rentals, in different locations, because I wanted to be fair and unbiased in my reviews. Certainly our impressions of the various VRBO rentals have been influenced, at least in part, by the neighborhood and surrounding cities we have visited. Everything about this rental was top notch. Great location in a great little town with a lot of character. There is a kindergarten next door and we loved to hear the little ones playing. In the park out our window on the other side of the apartment, we saw and heard people playing pètanque, walking their dogs and lovers holding hands while strolling. We were serenaded one evening by a young man on a park bench opposite our window. That window is in a 2nd floor apartment, which for Americans, means it is actually up two full flights of stairs. 42 steps. We schlepped all of our bags up there and back down. Big mistake.

Uncomfortable Stay

Unfortunately, our stay was uncomfortable, partly due to a lack of communication. Christine spoke no English and my French is poor. Thus, a lot of our questions went unanswered. She did give us an excellent recommendation for dinner at « Cafe de France. » We did not realize that we were located on the « wrong » side of the old town, as all the scenic street views, restaurants, and night life were on the other side. Maybe she told us but I didn’t understand her? On the positive side, there was plenty of coffee and sugar, greatly appreciated. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed well-equipped to do so. However, no freezer, so no ice, or bringing home ice cream as was our habit. We appreciated that Christine arrived to meet us at the apartment with a park space, as finding the apartment was difficult due to the one-way street, and despite the free car parks in front, they were always full so finding parking whenever we came back, was an ordeal. The apartment was HOT! Advertised as air-conditioned but it is not. The small unit in the upstairs bed loft blew barely cool air so did nothing towards cooling the living space. The bed was hard and we could not sleep due to the heat. Opening windows provided a cross breeze, but there were too many mosquitoes for that. Three flights of stairs to the apartment itself no problem; advertised and expected. But the stairs to the bed are treacherous; the tread is way too narrow (my size 7 U..S. foot did not fit!) Much steeper than noticeable in photos and industrial METAL, textured as one finds OUTSIDE leading up to bridges. Needing shoes and descending sideways to use the bathroom during the night is unacceptable. We did not feel as though we had privacy. Christine kept texting (in French, so I didn’t understand), and she knocked on our door Sunday morning when we were still showering and getting ready for the day. I can’t explain what reason she had for this, but we believe she would have entered the apartment had we not been there. We felt like we were being « watched » and « supervised » and hovered over, the entire stay. Once in an apartment, we want to be left alone. Overall, we found this apartment to be below the standard of others we have stayed in around Provence for the same price.

We are sorry for the negative aspects of your comments. If it's true that communication was difficult, it's also because you didn't reply to messages and you didn't use the app to send any to us either. Even the day of your arrival your phone was in "airplane mode" and we couldn't reach you. We had sent you a map indicating the path to follow but you did not use it. As for the apartment, it conforms to the description. We're sorry you didn't like the "industrial" style. For the stairs leading to the mezzanine there is no problem and I have a shoe size of 12. The bed has a very good mattress which we have never been criticized for. But maybe it is different from the one in your house. For the heat, indeed during your stay we were on heat wave alert with temperatures of 40 degrees celcius. It is true that in these cases, the air conditioning only decreases by 10 degrees which may be insufficient. We had put it to the maximum by asking you not to touch it but you did not. Moreover, opening the windows during the day is not a good idea when it is 40 degrees outside. And if we knocked on your door it was simply to find out if everything was fine since it was impossible to communicate with you by message. Under no circumstances would we have entered the apartment. It is unfortunate that you complain about the lack of communication when you have never replied to our messages or even asked any questions. If that had been the case we would have answered without problem. I think that your operation corresponds more to a hotel than to a private rental which requires a little more autonomy.

Vacanze all'Isle sur la Sorgue

Ottima scelta! La casa è in posizione strategica, sia per visitare l'Isle, sia per le escursioni nei dintorni. Il fiume ed il piccolo parco nelle immediate vicinanze sono una chicca. Per non parlare del parcheggio... Christine è stata molto accogliente e ci ha dato utili indicazioni per ambientarci. Se dovessi ritornare, sceglierei nuovamente il suo loft. iliquesto loft.

Great apartment

Brand-new apartment, equipped with modern furniture and all the necessary accessories (washing and drying machine, dishwasher, complete kitchen and so on). Fast internet connection. Very clean and tidy. Excellent position, just in front of a big and free parking place, close to downtown, the local market, several supermarkets, drugstore and many other shops. The position is also fantastic to visit the lavender fields and many interesting towns like Avignon, Roussillon, Gordes, Nimes, Arles and many others. The owners were very helpful. The apartment is placed on the second (and top) floor and can be reached only by walking up the stairs. The bedroom is placed on the mezzanine. We will definitely stay in this apartment when we will visit Provence again.

A very nice appartment in a beautiful little town. We spent 3 Nights with our teenage Kids a we can recommend this appartment!

Es war top gepflegt , sauber ,Bett perfekt , wir hatten die extrem Wärme trotz Klimaanlage und Ventilator, haben direkt nächsten Tag noch einen Ventilator bekommen … Wir fanden es sehr sehr schön alles was man braucht… Vielen lieben Dank

This property has the benefit of being recently renovated and is ideally located to allow access to all the towns services and attractions. There is ample parking close by if you have a car. If you like the look and location of this apartment, but feel it is not large enough to accommodate your family or party, there is a solution. The entire building was renovated by us to the same high standard and some of the other apartments we sold upon completion are being rented out as holiday accommodation by the new owners. If you want to keep your entire group in one building I can arrange for the others to be located in one of the other apartments, this of course would depend on availability. I will not charge any commission for this service and payment would be made directly to the apartment owner.

Quiet but not isolated, this apartment will be the ideal starting point for exploring our beautiful region.
