Questa casa è stata progettata dall'architetto hawaiano Thomas Bingham (un protetto di Frank Lloyd Wright) per la vita e l'intrattenimento indoor / outdoor. Dispone di 5 camere da letto, ognuna con bagno privato, la master suite gode di completa privacy sul proprio piano. Il lanai è a sbalzo sulla piscina di acqua salata e sulla terrazza di livello inferiore che offre viste mozzafiato sul campo da golf e sull'oceano con tramonti notturni drammatici. Per i cuochi c'è un barbecue a gas all'aperto e un wet bar, cucina gourmet con 2 frigoriferi, 2 lavastoviglie e fabbricatore di ghiaccio. (Per i non-cuochi ci sono diversi ristoranti a pochi minuti dalla casa.) La casa si trova all'interno delle porte private del Mauna Kea Resort!

Another Awesome Stay

We just completed our 3rd stay at this awesome home. The home accommodated our large group perfectly. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

Mauna Kea Paradise

Family stay at the Mauna Kea - such a treat! The house is fabulous, and the management team are excellent. The resort is going thru some renovations, but the beach and golf are top notch!

Vacation at the Magnificent Mauna Kea Home

House was outstanding. It was all that it was advertised to be. The house was outfitted more upon arrival than most places we have stayed. The property manager was excellent! Would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who is considering renting it for a stay on the Big Island.

Annual Family Trip to the Big Island

Family trip to the Mauna Kea. Although the hotel is undergoing a major renovation and the golf course is closed, we still had a fantastic time! The home is perfect for our group and service from Linaya and Linda was awesome! Can't wait to re-book next year!

Family Vacation

Our Family has just returned from a wonderful vacation in Mauna Kea Hawaii. Our VRBO rental was absolutely fantastic. The house was in exceptional condition and located was exceptional. None of us wanted to return home, and we would happily return to this property in the future.

our big island stay

It was amazing from beginning to end. Highly recommend adding hotel privileges. Only downside was that both resorts were doing remodels, but that really did not affect our stay. Beautiful home

Family Vacation

We rented two homes through VRBO for our family of 17. This big house has a 10 foot deep pool that all the kids loved. The patio area was perfect for card games, cribbage and outdoor dining. Both of the hotels’ beaches and pools were delightful.

Great house in a great location.

We had eight men stay at the house for week of golf and fun. We were comfortable and never felt crowded. Easily cooked most meals there at the house. Relaxing house and perfectly located. Second time we’ve stayed here. Great.

Vacation in paradise

We had an incredible time, the house is beautifully designed and constructed, tastefully furnished. Furniture is high quality not rental grade. Fully stocked with everything imaginable. View is breath taking!

Once in a lifetime experience!

Property just as advertised. It is a fabulous location with magical views. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very well kept. The property manager couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful.

Mauna Kea 2025

The house was well equipped and wonderfully air-conditioned in the bedrooms and kitchen area. The property manager checked in with us periodically which made it nice. She was super easy to work with! Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful stay in Mauna Kea at Amazing Property

The house was beautiful - accented by incredible African artwork and well appointed. Everything we needed was there - we catered several dinners and the Chef noted how well appointed the kitchen was to cook gourmet mealsThe property manager couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Beautiful place - only downside (if there is one) is you need a car to get down to the beach - the walk is too far.

Beautiful sunsets every night

The house is amazing with plenty of space and everything you need. Loved the pool, the view and the peaceful mornings and evenings sitting on the wonderful outdoor furnishings. The host was very helpful and responsive and even had a mid-week cleaning. Highly recommend it!

Spectacular!

This gorgeous property has everything you need for a visit to Hawaii! The home is meticulously decorated with exquisite African and Hawaiian art yet the spaces are comfortable and easy -- perfect for a family gathering. The kitchen and bedrooms are large and well appointed. The fun and large pool, along with decks for miles, make sunset swims the high point of the day. We loved it!!
