My family of 16 was treated to a mountain retreat above and beyond expectations. Some of us settled in the main house, some in the guest house and one couple stayed in the barn. The living and sleeping accommodations were five star. But the best part was the fact that we were able to gather in the barn every night for a game of pool, ping pong, TV watching and just having fun. When we weren't enjoying the activities in the barn, we were gathering around the fire pit for stories and S'moors.Our host and management couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend a stay in Montana's best mountain retreat. You will have wonderful memories for years.Our host provided

Everything could not have been better. 11 of us 70 year olds, each with a bed and no upper bunks were needed. Kitchen and Party Barn bar were beyond expectations. We grew up in small town Minnesota, now spread all over the US and this was our 51st yearly ski trip. This property is by far the nicest we have stayed at.

Dream Stay

The property was perfect. Close proximity to Big Sky Ski Resort and great accommodations. The barn is incredible, we loved hanging out and enjoying the amenities.

Amazing house is GREAT for large groups!

We loved the separate communal space and all the available games! This house was exactly what we needed for our large and diverse group.

Wonderful stay in Big Sky

Our large group, including adults and teenage/young adults, all loved our stay. Plenty of room to spread out and come together around the fireplace and in the expansive party barn. We really liked the location between the mountain and town. Great access but lots of privacy. Thank you for a great stay!

Spring wedding

The property was perfect for what we wanted to do, it was a small group that stayed there and we were able to have a multiple day event that was incredible. Beautiful setting to just enjoy your time.

Best House in Big Sky

The house is great, the property is amazing and the party barn was a great place to hang out post slopes and play games and enjoy drinks. This is truly a one of a kind property!

Happy Trails is an incredible place to stay! We stayed with multiple families and everyone was super comfortable. The layouts of the houses are so conducive to prepping/returning from ski days. About 10 minutes drive to Big Sky Resort, super convenient. The kitchens had everything you could need - super well stocked with loads of glasses, dishes, bowls, and pots/pans.We loved making a winter fire and enjoying the evening sky. We especially enjoyed the party barn - hanging there every evening and playing lots of ping pong and billiards. It It was such a great layout for some of our crew to hang out late while others comfortably retired to bed earlier. Kevin and Kimbie were super responsive ahead of time and during our stay. We would recommend this place over and over again! Hope to come back again another time.

This house was a dream come true! What an excellent place to go with a group of friends. We loved the party barn, hot tub and proximity to Big Sky Resort and downtown. We never wanted to leave! We will be coming back for sure in the future. A all around. Thanks!

Spectaular place to gather and enjoy the beauty of Big Sky

We had a great visit to Happy Trails. The two houses and common spaces were as good as we've ever rented. Our group of 13 were very comfortable, and the house set-up functioned exceptionally well. Perhaps most important, the host/owner (Kevin) was terrific. Very communicative and he made our stay remarkable.

We had the most incredible Christmas stay at a luxurious home in Big Sky, and it was truly unforgettable. We spent the holidays with two families on this expansive 20-acre property, surrounded by breathtaking snowy landscapes. The home was picturesque, comfortable, and perfect for the season. We loved having two large, fully equipped kitchens and a party barn with pool, table tennis, and a bar. The main house also featured a cozy fireplace, making it feel warm and welcoming, even from thousands of miles away. Plus, it was incredibly convenient, being just a 10-minute drive from the Big Sky ski village and slopes, so we could easily go skiing on the days we were there. It was the perfect escape from Australia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing Stay at Hapy Trails

We had an amazing stay at happy trails which proved to be the perfect location for our family reunion. The house is conveniently located to the town of Big Sky, the mountain resort, hiking trails, swimming holes and more; and the party barn proved to be the perfect meeting spot for our family after active days of adventure. The listing pictures show an amazing house and property and I can truly say that Happy Trails is even more impressive in person. I highly recommend.

Perfect for Our Family

Three generation family of 14 plus one guest found the three different sleeping locations (house, upstairs barn and multipurpose room) perfect. Owner greeted us and the property management company was the best we have dealt with in our 30 plus years of family holidays. So much to do in Big Sky area we did not have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy the “Happy Trails” property.

Fantastic Home!

Happy Trails is wonderful! We had an amazing time. The space is perfect. Everyone could have privacy, but also all could dine together and party in the barn. The barn is exquisite with art by the owners. Also, it is super fun with tons of games. The owners greeted us on arrival to give a tour and are so gracious and kind. We cannot wait to go back!

Winter Escape

The Nobles' vacation home is unlike anything we've ever been to! We are so grateful to have stayed there while it was still snowing as the property is beautiful in the wintertime. Perfect location with quick access to Big Sky Resort and Town Center. Ample space for lots of people to enjoy spending time together and being able to rest in their own spaces. The barn was an awesome location for family and friends to get together!! We LOVED playing games and enjoying dinners in there.

Love that barn!!!

Our annual ski group has rented a number of great ski houses over the years. We were thankful to come back to this property as we loved it even before the upgrades. Now the space is just off the charts! Beautifully done and such a great spot for our whole group to be able to game, hang, and chill! Looking forward to coming back!! Thank you!!
