Benvenuti nel nostro cottage! Se stai cercando un posto semplice, tranquillo e senza stress per goderti la spiaggia, questo è tutto. Non è un condominio elegante - senza lunghi corridoi, parcheggi distanti, ascensori o folle - e non ci sono strade da attraversare per raggiungere la spiaggia. Il cottage è un duplex e questo elenco è per il lato più grande. VRBO # 327896 ti mostrerà il lato più piccolo. Le due parti condividono un portico schermato di fronte alla spiaggia.

Il cottage fu costruito nel 1912 o giù di lì, come casa di un custode per una casa più grande che ora è sparita. È stato attentamente curato e aggiornato, ma ha conservato il fascino di un'epoca passata.

Le pareti interne sono in legno di pino, così come i pavimenti, rifiniti a mano. L'arredamento è stato scelto per il comfort: una poltrona reclinabile in rattan e un divano letto abbinato nel soggiorno, un tavolo da pranzo con foglia (nel caso in cui desideri avere un ospite o due per la cena) e un letto king size nella camera da letto.

Il cottage è ombreggiato da antichi pini australiani e ha un comodo portico schermato condiviso per una vista in prima fila dei tramonti e delle stelle. Con le finestre aperte di notte, puoi ascoltare il surf!

Cammina direttamente fuori dalla porta della veranda e scendi verso la spiaggia, senza strade da attraversare. Oppure, siediti nel patio e goditi il tuo caffè e giornale, o cocktail. I nostri ospiti ci dicono che la parte migliore dell'area del patio (oltre alla vista) è la sua dimensione - un sacco di spazio per distendersi.

We loved everything about this cottage. It’s vintage, it’s private (with a view) and it’s very clean. All the linens and quilt were fresh out of the laundry. Alice is a great host! We’ve stayed on the island several times and finally found our spot. I don’t want to stay anywhere else. This is it! I hope it never changes and I hope we can stay every year! Thank you Alice for making this trip one of the best!🥰

This property was such a fantastic stay. My mom and I went down for a few days, and we were so happy with the cottage and Alice. We loved being able to look out or step out the door and be on the beach while still staying at such a cute and clean place. We even walked in to a personalized welcome sign and a gift basket! We will definitely be back.

Steps from the beach

The property is right on the beach on Anna Marie Island. The bed was comfortable and the sunsets were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in Cottage 1, we loved the proximity to the beach and Alice is an attentive and caring host. We would love to stay here again on our next visit!

Hi! Our family has owned this property since 1971. My grandparents built it as their retirement home, and now it belongs to us. My mom, Gladys, is on the left in this photo, and that's me, Alice, on the right. Mom passed away in 2014, but her spirit of hospitality continues. I live up in Tampa, and visit during the week with my husband and family.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Our family chose to purchase the Cottage because there was no way we could resist! The property is huge, and has the most magnificent view of the beach, especially at sunset, and of course, we loved the neighbors (my grandparents). We live in Tampa, but visit the Island every weekend, and it is a quick trip, about an hour. The Island has an unspoiled small-town charm--like Mayberry but with sand and sun! No matter how short your stay on the Island, it will refresh your spirit.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our cottage offers simple peace and quiet, with sunny or shady spots on the patios facing the beach. The patios are nestled in a native Florida meadow, complete with blanket flowers, railroad vine, and sea oats-- it's a trip to the past, when life was much simpler. When families visit, the patio area is a favorite of the older crowd, since it offers a mix of sun and shade, with a magnificent view of the beach.

The screened porch is a great place for morning coffee and the newspaper, afternoon snacks, or evening refreshments.
