è stato nella famiglia Hall per oltre 60 anni, ed è attualmente di proprietà e gestito da Myrtle Hall. Myrtle è nato in Germania e si è trasferito a Indian Rocks Beach nel 2000, quando ha sposato il suo defunto marito, Ned. La nonna di Ned comprò la proprietà di Indian Rocks Beach nel 1946. Il padre di Ned, George Hall, costruì il primo edificio a due piani nel 1952. Il Gulf Cottage a un piano seguì nel 1972. La famiglia di Ned visse qui in inverno e trascorse l'estate a Ithaca, New York, dove suo padre era il golf coach della Cornell University per oltre 40 anni. Ned ha seguito le sue orme come PGA Teaching Professional per oltre 25 anni. Stava insegnando al Clearwater Golf Club di Clearwater, in Florida, quando Myrtle, in Florida, in vacanza dalla Germania, lo incontrò nel 1998. Myrtle e Ned, ovviamente, hanno celebrato il loro matrimonio proprio davanti alla bellissima Sandy Shores!
Come Ned, Myrtle si innamorò di questa bellissima proprietà e della sua ricca storia familiare. Ned e Myrtle hanno iniziato ad affittare le loro case nel 2005 dopo un completo abbellimento e goduto ogni minuto di condividere questa bella proprietà con i loro ospiti. Myrtle continua la tradizione di ospitalità della Hall a Sandy Shores e aggiunge il suo marchio speciale di calore tedesco. La sua attenzione ai dettagli e alla pulizia rendono Sandy Shores un rifugio unico e affascinante.
Surf, sabbia e sole, uniti ad una tranquilla solitudine, magnifici tramonti e all'ombra dei pini australiani rendono questo il luogo perfetto per le vacanze. Godrai di una delle spiagge più belle del mondo - perfetta per una passeggiata mattutina o una spedizione di bombardamenti pomeridiani, oltre a sistemazioni curate nei minimi dettagli. Sandy Shores è una fetta della vecchia Florida al suo meglio.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Myrtle and Sandy Shores. I only wish I found this wonderful, beautiful place earlier. Myrtle checked us in by showing us around the property and the cottage, letting us know where everything is. Everything turned out to be so much more than we ever expected. The cottage was exceptionally clean and so comfortable and welcoming. The property was unbelievable. We really felt like we were in a tropical oasis. Just beautiful. And for us, the best part was simply the location, right there on the beach. Myrtle made sure that everything was just perfect for our stay. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!!

We were warmly greeted upon arrival at our Gulf cottage by our host Myrtle. Everything was in order. You can easily tell our host desired for my wife and I to have a fantastic stay. The grounds and cottage were immaculate. We really appreciated that aspect. The images on VRBO directly reflected what we saw. If you are looking for a cozy cottage with awesome views then this gulf cottage is for you.

Beautiful!!
We had the best time here! It was so beautiful. The room had everything you would need. The view was amazing. Loved the short walk to the ocean! Myrtle was such a gracious host! We would definitely stay here again!

Slice of beach heaven!
This is a hidden gem! The cottages are cozy and very clean, and the property grounds are the most beautiful around! Myrtle takes great pride in her cottages and it shows! 5 stars!!!

Great Beach Stay
Had a wonderful time at beach here. The place was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It was right on the beach which was perfect as we had 2 little ones with us, and extra beach equipment if needed. Myrtle is very nice and attentive and was there us we needed anything too. Overall a wonderful place and experience.

Perfect Beach Vacation Location
Sandy Shores was the perfect place to spend our beach vacation. The place was in a great spot near some restaurants and stores. Myrtle had beach equipment too for us to use which was very helpful. She was always easy to get a hold of and helpful.

This place was awesome! A true home away from home - except with a much better location, view and climate ! My adult kids came over and loved it so much they intend on staying there in the near future also. As Arnold would say “I’ll be back” !!

Sandy Shores has been in my late husband, Ned's, family for over 60 years. Ned's Grandmother bought it in 1946 and his Father built the first two story building in 1952 and the Gulf Cottage followed in 1972.
I live onsite so I am available during your stay. I've also worked for 12 years in a local bank. One of the things my guests repeatedly tell me, is that they can see my love for Sandy Shores in the cleanliness and beauty of the property. I take pride in knowing my attention to detail ensures my guests have the most comfortable stay. And, for my German visitors, I enjoy speaking German to help you feel at home.

We started to rent out our cottages in 2005 after a total beautification and enjoying ever since every minute of sharing this lovely property with all our guests.

Rest in our secluded gardens, enjoy the shade under our beautiful Australian Pine Trees and watch the Gulf of Mexico and the fantastic sunsets from your living room and dining area. You can't get any closer to the beach.
