    Le mattine sono bellissime e mozzafiato ... goditi una tazza di caffè mentre sei seduto fuori vicino al fiume e guardi fuori dal Madson Mountain. La sera prova a fare i ferri di cavallo o semplicemente siediti attorno al fuoco e condividi storie.
Alcuni attrezzi da pesca leggeri sono previsti per quegli appassionati di pesca, in quanto possono uscire dalla porta e bagnare una lenza, (La pesca apre l'11 giugno). Puoi catturare una trota iridea, Dolly Varden o anche il temolo occasionale. A metà agosto, i salmoni rossi sono qui e si stanno riproducendo, sono belli e uno spettacolo da vedere!
Se stai cercando una giornata di pesca più avventurosa, mio figlio Jared è una guida di pesca registrata e sarebbe felice di ospitarti.

Moose Pass è una bellissima cittadina, circondata da montagne, laghi e ruscelli con numerosi sentieri escursionistici. Le opportunità di godersi la natura e tutto ciò che offre sono infinite. Viviamo qui perché è l'Alaska al suo meglio!
Ultimo ma non meno importante, è una bellissima passeggiata di 30 minuti dalla città portuale di Seward con i fiordi Kenai, Exit Glacier, il centro Sealife dell'Alaska, lo shopping e molto altro o Cooper Landing e la sua famosa pesca al salmone rosso del fiume russo. Anche se Homer è a poche ore di distanza e può essere un po 'un disco, con un inizio mattutino può essere la tua avventura per la giornata. Rilassati, sistemati e rendi questa la tua "casa lontano da casa".

This property is in an a serene setting along a river, just off the Seward highway. It provided great access to the Kenai Peninsula for exploring. The hosts, Gary and Julie were awesome people, very welcoming and provided helpful information during our stay. They even let us use their shop vac to clean out the rental car! The apartment was spotless and so comfortable for the 2 of us.

100% Fantastic! Comfy, clean, quiet, private, great location, we really felt at home in a very Alaskan non-touristy way. Julie and Gary are lovely, welcoming hosts!While not a problem for us, the fridge is small, the freezer section teeny, and there is not a cooktop or oven. With the microwave, the large electric frying pan, the bbq, and a little creativity, we ate well!The wall heater warms up the whole place quickly. We slept really well in the comfortable bed and bedding with the heat off at night, and the window cracked a bit. The setting is lovely and close to a whole bunch of stellar hikes and outdoor activities (like seeing the massive bull moose on the side of a road nearby- and Seward with all it has to offer, we even watched Sockeye salmon and a pair of mergansers in the creek right by the cabin! We stayed 3 nights, did not want to leave, and can’t wait to return!!!!

Clean, secluded, and easy access to get to a lot of places. I have sciatic nerve pain and the bed actually relieved some of that pain. It was comfy, convenient, and easy to manage. Had all the things we needed for our stay. We picked this place also for the short drives to Homer, Seward, Girdwood, and Whittier. We visited all these places in our 6 day stay. Host was very accommodating when we needed something. These host will probably be your friendliest around. Very helpful in seeing moose and other wildlife. We will stay here again when we come back. Their home made our stay the best stay we could’ve imagined. Pictures I’m adding are ones I took within 20 minutes of this home. Eagle is the only one I took from Seward but saw plenty of eagles off the porch.

Riverside cabin on Kenai Peninsula

We enjoyed staying in the beautiful surroundings outside Moose Pass for some adventures in the area. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, providing lots of information before and during our trip that helped us plan our fun.

Great location for exploring Seward and surrounding area. This accommodated our family of 5 very comfortably. The park-like private yard was great to relax in after a day of activities.

Beautiful Location!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful spot outside of Seward along with our grown son and his wife. The accommodations were terrific and the Owners were delightful. I definitely recommend it!

Little slice of Heaven

We stayed here toward the end of our Alaska vacation and it was my favorite rental! The peacefulness and quaintness were therapeutic! Everything we could possibly want or need was there. I would love to go back and stay a week! If you are contemplating staying here, stop right now and book it! Wonderful hosts on site who have perfected their little place!

Great peaceful getaway

This is a perfect little getaway. Place is clean and cozy. Cant think of a single thing wrong with our stay. Yard is a great place to relax after being out all day. Beds are comfortable and they even had a bowl of fruit and fantastic cinnamon rolls.

Stay near Seward, AK

This was a perfect cozy spot about 20-30 minutes north of Seward! Julie was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great tips for our travels. The backyard is so nice and we got to see the friendly owl in its house. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Gorgeous place on the river!

My son and I stayed at Julie's place while we were in Seward for three days. It's a beautiful property right on the river. The apartment is very comfortable with everything we needed. She even provided fishing gear for my son to fish and was able to provide recommendations and was so communicative.

Amazing stay

The Jewel of the North was just that, a jewel. So clean and comfortable. Julie and Gary are wonderful people and we felt so welcome. And the homemade sweet rolls that Julie prepared for us were so delicious!! ( Sam thanks you for the seconds) we would absolutely love to stay again!

Alaska Getaway

Julie and Gary were great hosts! They were very helpful and attentive to all our needs. The Jewel of The North was exactly that, a true Jewel! Nice remote setting in the woods on the river, peaceful and quite with great views. The suite was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. My wife and I would highly recommend staying here.

Julie & Gary along with their children Jared & Gretchen, have lived in Alaska for 30 years. We are grateful and love all of the adventures and outdoor activities Alaska provides for us right out our door! Some of those being: fishing, hiking, snow machining, skiing, skating, berry picking, gardening, and so much more.
Our son, Jared, who has been fishing since he was a toddler, is now a registered fishing guide and is one fortunate young man to being doing what he loves.
Our daughter, Gretchen, has turned into a mountain climber and hiker in the past year and can be found on the mountain tops surrounding us.
