Property was just as described in the listing, it was beautiful and comfortable, short walk to the beach. The bikes were a hit with the kids, the kitchen was nicely outfitted, beds were comfortable. Communication was great. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay. Our two families from VT traveled with our high school graduates for their graduation trip. We were close to lots of activities and really enjoyed spending a lot of time fishing at at the 4x4 beach. We enjoyed the hot tub at the house and the community pool as well. The kitchen was well stocked to cook instead of always eating out. The house fit us well. We hope to return again in the future. Our communication with the owners was great.

Our family of six had a fantastic stay here! The house is very comfortable. We enjoyed the many little "extras" the owners provided including the two beach carts, chairs and bikes, as well as their large movie collection, games and puzzles. We had several nice evenings where we cooked at the house and enjoyed hanging out together. The homeowner Ed was very communicative both before our arrival and throughout our stay and provided many recommendations for restaurants and other fun things to do in the area. The house is also conveniently located to the neighborhood community pool and is about 3 blocks off the ocean (5-10 minute walk). We had a great time and hope to be back again!

Had a great vacation in Corolla. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The hot tub was a huge hit and the pool was 100 yards away. It was nice having access to the bikes. Ed was great to work with. We had one small issue with the cable app. Ed made himself available and we solved it quickly. Will absolutely rent here again. Thanks for the great week Ed!

A very nice property and neighborhood! The kids loved the community pool just across the street, and the beach was an easy 5 to 10 minute walk away. Our trip was more convenient with the fully-stocked beach gear in the garage. We look forward to staying there again!

We had a wonderful stay and relaxing week! The house was very clean which was the best! They make traveling lighter by providing a tent, lots of chairs and sand toys! We have 3 kids under 9 and the walk to the beach was easy!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was clean and in a great location. The hosts were very responsive and even agreed to open the hot tub up one week early for us. 10/10 would recommend.

Great family vacation!

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood! Beds were very comfortable. Nice appliances and plenty of kitchen utensils. Very good communication with the owners! Would stay here again!!

Takes a good 30-45 min from bridge to get to house but once there the neighborhood was great , 4 min walk to beach, pool across street. Host very receptive to not having enough hangers & sent to us same day. Restaurants/ shops/ ice cream/ putt putt liquor store all close 1 -2 drive or can bike it or walk. Lighthouse nearby had great views from top. House was good overall. Lots of positives: hot tub, kitchen stocked, (gift cards were nice add- thank you) bikes were a plus but 4/6 adult bikes were usable. Kids bikes not sure about. Lots of books and games. Master bedroom nice shower and bathroom, but the chest of drawers need work, could barely slide drawers in and out, need wood sanded or cut down-Very annoying. Daughter and I rode bikes to a wild horse tour ( back of a side padded pickup truck) such a bucket list kind of thing to do. Super fun! Love outer banks except the flies were out of control annoying anywhere you eat outside- not sure why but very few were biting. Outer banks vaca packed away a lot of fun memories! Nearby tennisPickleball Courts 50/hr we enjoyed! Overall a great week!

August 2024 Stay

Exactly as listed and perfect for both my family of 4 and my brother's family of 4. Had plenty of room and the amenities were helpful to get all of our stuff out to the beach, which was just a short walk away. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time and the house was just as listed. The only negative was that the wagon to carry the beach equipment had a flat and that made the walk a little long. Thank You for everything!!

Comfortable Beach House in Corolla!

Lovely property with a full kitchen, beach supplies (toys, bikes, chairs and even a wagon). We stayed here with my wife, 2 kids and parents and were very happy. A few of the appliances could have been cleaner and in better condition, but overall everything worked just fine.

Great house with plenty of room

Our family of 8 fit comfortably in this house with 2 bunk beds to spare. The description of the listing was accurate and was all in working order. 3 full baths was nice for when we all got back from the beach / pool and all wanted to shower. Would stay here again.

Perfect Location

The house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac that is a 6 min walk from the ocean. It is across Rt 12 from the bay and close to many activities and shopping. The neighborhood boasts a salt water pool and volleyball court. It was a great fit for 4 adults and 3 teens. The king beds were amazing.

Great Location

Great place everything we needed was there except for towels. That would be the only negative thing I have to say. Enjoyed using the bikes, the beach chairs and the hot tub. All and all it was a great vacation spot. Thanks again for a great stay.

Jerry thanks so much for your review! We used to include several items for our guests in past years but they regularly went missing causing issues on a weekly basis so we removed a few that fell into this category. We may revisit the bath towels again however based on your comments here and what we have heard from others. Thanks again!!

A lovely home that was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked, the furnishings were attractive and comfortable and the kids enjoyed playing with the beach toys, games and bikes. Not to mention watching movies from the endless DVD collection. It was a fairly short walk to the beach with many restaurants and shops nearby. We also enjoyed the local fish markets as well. Ed, our host, was very nice and let us know that he was available to help if there was anything that we needed. Thanks to his attention to detail our stay was perfect.

Pleasant Stay

We are a family of four with two kids in college. It was nice to spend a quiet week together. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed. The kitchen is well equipped, and we appreciated the propane grill. We made use of the community pool across the street and the bikes in the garage were used daily. Great location with easy access to stores and activities. Our host was very responsive.
