Casa del Sol è il nostro più recente casa nella collezione dopo aver superato una completa ristrutturazione, compresi tutti i nuovi arredi e l'aggiunta di un nuovo, piscina riscaldata 30 piedi con una spaziosa terrazza con piscina per rilassarsi e sala da pranzo. Questo completamente arredato e attrezzato 2 camere da letto / 1 bagno incantatore è storicamente landmarked e può ospitare 5 persone comodamente (tra cui un divano letto in camera Florida). La casa si trova in una delle strade più tranquille del Grandview Heights Historic District, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla West Palm Beach Arte e intrattenimento con ristoranti, negozi, bar, caffetterie, negozi, musei, teatri e altro ancora.

This one-hundred-year-old plus bungalow was not only charming but centrally located to everything we needed from parks, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, and downtown West Palm Beach. The home was a perfect place to recover from a medical procedure, while my partner enjoyed the pool in the private backyard surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare at-home meals. We also enjoyed walking around this quiet historic neighborhood full of an array of equally significant historic homes. We'll definitely return once I've fully recovered so I can not only better enjoy this house but to further explore the surrounding area.

Perfect Location

Walked to dinner at two great restaurants nearby. Loved the bungalows in this historic area. The private pool made you feel like you were def on vacation and m you didn’t even need to leave the property. Apparently there’s a new TV set up so some additional info could be provided as we found it a little difficult to stream sports and shows we were interested in.

Had a nice respite at historic Casa del Sol. Well appointed, clean, quiet and beautiful pool. Short drive into PB. Host called us on Easter Sunday since we arrived late the night before. Very thoughtful. Would consider booking again.

Only a few minor issues. Strong musty smell in bedroom; construction noise next door which was unpleasant and woke us early.

Historic Property with Lots of Charm

We were traveling to see family in West Palm Beach with my 20 year old daughter. It was wonderful to have individual rooms for privacy/working and also our own pool in the backyard. The historic neighborhood is beautiful and a feast for the eyes of those who enjoy architecture. Our gem has been lovingly renovated with new amenities that doesn't negate the historic charm. I recommend reading up about the historic Flamingo Park and all the nearby lavish and homey things to do. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you.

Not As Pictured...

First a brief preface… It was late afternoon on 6/13 - the last day of the ‘June Monsoon’ - when we arrived at our reserved property (pictured above) We were greeted by an apologetic rep from the property managers (Marco maybe?) and the AC repair man decked out in full foul weather gear. The AC had gone on the fritz earlier in the day & we soon realized that it wasn’t going to be repaired any time soon. Subsequently, we were offered an alternate property just down the street @ 717 Penn St. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it was a definite upgrade. After settling in to our new digs we both agreed that this would be our address whenever we’re in WPB (we have friends & family in the area). The 2 bedroom/2 bath bungalow is very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well provisioned w all the necessities & amenities. And then there’s the pool.. ahhh… perfect size & temp and surrounded with lush landscaping for complete privacy. We found this to be the total package for a centrally located piece of tranquil luxury. We’ll be back! p.s. I ‘d be remiss not to give a shout out to Peter & the crew @ Palm Beach Vaca Rentals. They were most accommodating & a pleasure to deal with!

Perfect mid-summer retreat!

We stayed four weeks at Casa del Sol, from mid June to mid July. Super hot, but AC and pool kept us comfortable. Rick, Peter and the entire staff were terrific and immediately responded to two minor issues - pool pump and tiny roof leak during torrential rain storm. They provided bicycles for great excursions through this quaint historic neighborhood and along the intracoastal waterway. Rick’s best selling book on Palm Beach - History, attractions, shopping and dining is a perfect guide to the Palm Beaches. We saw/did as many of his “don’t miss” recommendations as we could fit in. Short walk to Grandview Market for live music, food vendors and two bars serving indoor and covered outdoor venues. Huge park at the corner - three houses down - with giant shade trees, soccer field, tennis courts, dog park and playground. Just right very private swimming pool (14x30’- ish) for exercise and relaxing in the beautifully landscaped and fenced back yard. Tons of cable channels, and we brought a FireTV stick for Netflix, Amazon, etc... and an echo dot to answer all our questions. Kitchen and Weber grill made meal prep easy with purchases from the nearby Publix. Washer and drier stretched our limited vacation wardrobe, and a dry cleaner is just one block away. Provided bath soaps, shampoos and hairdryer were additional niceties for our stay. Summer discounts made it a bargain, but we’d love to come back during the “season.” Many thanks Rick!

Great Remodeled & Renewed Older Home

The house was in a location that was easy to get downtown, to use as a centralized location for the restaurants, attractions, grocery shopping, and pleasure shopping, as well as close to parks and other points of interest. It was nice being greeted by real person and having a real phone number as a contact if we needed him. If you are considering cooking, all of the cookware and appliances you need should be available. Example, good toaster, crock pot, blender, and pots and pans as well as a 4 burner gas stove. Don't bank on any counter space for preparation. The pool was spotless and just cleaned when we arrived. It was very enjoyable especially with the beautiful tropical back yard. Linens on the bed were clean and fresh, bathroom was clean. Bathtub is an outdated jetted tub, but it's in good condition. We don't know if the jets work because we only use the shower. Shower head needs attention with some hard water scale remover because the pours are somewhat blocked and scattering the spray, but I've seen worse. We had a small dog and the fenced back yard worked well. We walked around the neighborhood without any concern for safety. The neighborhood is mixed with old, renovated homes and some that are in disrepair, however; it's all being improved and overall is good now. In fact, we don't think we would want to spend as much as it might take to buy in the neighborhood because Zillow shows values of most homes over $500K to over $2 Million. Good Neighborhood!

Sweet & Peaceful

We were in town on business for a week and wanted to stay someplace that felt like a vacation spot as well...The Casa del Sol was perfectly lovely to come home to after a long work day. Nice yard, charming walkable neighborhood, clean & comfortably furnished, lap pool, with great restaurants and shopping close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little place, short walk to the convention center.

While looking for a hotel, I stumbled upon this little house that seemed to have all of the amenities I was hoping for, and I’m so happy I did! The pool was a welcome bonus. The house was very clean and well stocked with the basic necessities (hair dryer, pots/pans, wine screw, dishwasher, towels and linens) The beds were comfortable, the staff (owners?) were incredibly polite and helpful, warm and welcoming. They even had complimentary bicycles for us to borrow. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and we can’t wait to come back! I’d also love to stay at the bed and breakfast. I’m confident that any of their properties would be equally wonderful.

Beautiful, quaint and comfortable.

This is a cute little cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood that is near everything in West Palm Beach. Stores, Restaurants, City Place, Kravis Center etc.. There is a nice park virtually across the street. The fenced in backyard was very nice with a nice pool and even an outdoor shower. It was a great place where our dogs could roam free. We stayed here for about 5 weeks while our home was being renovated from hurricane damage from the year before and the hosts were very helpful. We had to keep extending our stay and they were very gracious and accommodating. The cottage and yard are well kept and the kitchen had really nice cookware. We were very impressed with everything and definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice place near the beaches and everything. Thanks again for a nice place to stay and relax as we were dealing with all the turmoil of getting our home renovated. Great stay!

A wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved Casa del Sol! It's wonderfully situated, well-stocked, great looking and comfortable. The pool is a fantastic bonus. Everything was clean and cared for.
