As with so many others, we loved the place. It had all the things we needed for our two week stay and more. We loved listening to the sound of the waves 24/7, looking for whales, and watching the beautiful sunsets. With such close access to Poipu Beach! We walked there almost every day of our visit and enjoyed looking at the basking turtles and seals. We are looking forward to our next visit there!

This rental was just perfect for what we wanted. Great location, view, access to view the honu close by, no hidden fees, reserved parking spot, and the condo was filled with everything you need for a trip away from home. Fully eqipped kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, TV, beach equipment, books, games. etc.Perhaps the best part was communication with our host, Ellen. We were delayed for several hours at the car rental, but she waited up for us and personally talked us through our "check-in". She helped us with several glitches that came up and was always quick to reply.Lots of great places to dine or just grab a snack. The nearby Hyatt has a beautiful indoor/outdoor dining area. Keoki's Paradise is excellent! But if you have kids or are on a budget, stop at Safeway on the way in from Lihue and buy some groceries, and prepare your own meals. There is a Mr. Coffee drip machine in the kitchen (no K-cup) along with filters. Pick up some bottled water, or refill your hydration cup at the cooler in the lobby, but do stay hydrated. All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay. It is just as Ellen described, and then some.

I have stayed at this location before, in another condo, so I pretty much knew what to expect in the little town of Koloa and in Poipu. There are grocery stores, local produce stands, plenty of restaurants and almost everything you need in the kitchen is provided .The queen sized bed is very comfortable, plenty of beach towels and equipment, and having a washer/drier stack in the unit is very much appreciated. For me, the best part was the lanai/deck with the incredible views and the sound of the waves available at all times. If you are new to Kauai, don't expect air conditioning; breezes are available via the windows and the fans!

What an awesome place and the stay was perfect! Incredible location! What i loved most about this was the ability to head to the beach in a couple minutes, in either direction, and if you're a trail runner or just like to hike you are in a perfect spot. When we first arrived i was worried it was going to be to hot as there's no AC, but at night the breeze left it very nice and listening to the ocean with that breeze, babies don't sleep that good!

Great Accommodations!

The condo was in a great location, was very clean, beautiful views, firm mattress, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed having our coffee on the lanai every morning. A great find!

Beautiful view from the balcony and living room. Easy walk to beautiful beaches. Near good dining. Near good shopping. Condo dated, but great option for cost.

Amazing location and great amenities!

This condo had the perfect Lanai for enjoying coffee in the morning or our wine at night and watching the whales. It’s so close to coffee shops, restaurants and most importantly beaches. The property itself had everything we needed and more. The owner was so gracious and helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again for our next Kauai holiday.

A perfect stay

We were very pleased with our stay at the lovely and peaceful Mele Moana. The kitchen had everything you could want to prepare meals and we especially appreciated the availability of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The location is within walking distance of the beautiful Poipu Beach where we saw sea turtles and seals. We would defiantly stay there again.

Nice central location

Well located, easy access, on-site parking (but very narrow parking spaces, best for smaller cars). Nicely decorated, very clean. Many beach accessories available in condo - nice not to have to buy for temporary use.

Great Stay!

We are very familiar with the Sunset Kahili and love this property. This unit did not disappoint. Can’t beat the view and space was comfy and clean. Thanks for everything! This will continue to be on our list of places to return in the future!

Wonderful stay!

We had a beautiful stay. Ellen is a wonderful hostess-so kind and responsive. Location is fantastic! Sunsets at the end of each day were a special treat. Unit is a little dated, which is why I would give this property a 4/5 stars. However, all other aspects of our experience were first rate! Fantastic experience.

We enjoyed everything about our trip to Kauai!!! The condo location is absolutely perfect, the view is amazing,, and the pool is refreshing. The owner was helpful and efficient with all information. We highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again!

Amazing view and location

Great location near POIPU beach and excellent view from unit! Really comfortable even without ac and not necessary to have since there is a cross breeze in unit. Ellen is very quick with communication to answer any questions you may have. Really cool nostalgic feel.

Marvelous Mele Moana

We had a delightful stay at Mele Moana. The condo is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It is in a great location, close to beaches, trails, and restaurants. We enjoyed the fabulous views from our lanai of the daily visits by the whales and the stunning sunsets. Ellen is a wonderful host. Highly recommended - 5 stars!

Amazing view, cozy place

If you want to wake up for an amazing ocean view every morning, rent this property! It is clean, comfortable, has all the necessities, the location cannot be beat. The owner is quick tk respond. We spent lovely few days there and would like to go back again next year.

Hear the ocean waves 24/7

As advertised: gorgeous views, quiet complex, great pool, and quaint condo. I agree with a previous renter that some basic maintenance is in order. And I would also suggest more linens, both kitchen and bathroom: not enough there if a week or more stay. The price is hard to beat and we had a fabulous time. Would definitely stay again.
