Everything was great with the unit. The master bed could've been just a little more comfortable but as worn out as we were each night, we still slept. Thanks for a great stay!

Momma's Spring Break

My wife and her friend loved the property. Only issue I was aware of had to do with the clothes dryer not working properly.

Life at the 21st floor

This was exactly the view from our condo....all the way down the beach toward Destin. The condo itself was spacious and well appointed. The beauty of Sandestin is found on the beach, the Gulf of Mexico, the clouds, and the sky. The days were spectacular...some of the most stunning I have ever seen. The sunsets are breathtaking and we watched one every night from our balcony.

Fantastic view, comfortable condo

Condo was very comfortable but a bit dated. Kitchen had everything we needed; however could use a new coffee maker. Master shower needs an update and right sink had slow drain. Other than these small details, we would stay here again. We are all about a great balcony with view and this one delivered! The sunsets are amazing from this condo!

Nice but a bit run down

We had a great time at Westwinds. The unit would benefit from a deep clean. The primary bathroom shower curtain was quite moldy. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were also found to be a bit dirty. Despite these small concerns, the unit was great. Bed was comfy and view unbeatable.

Megan’s customer service was wonderful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo initially had some issues with the water not working when we got there, but it was turned back on within a satisfactory time. However, it happened again during our stay and it was a little frustrating. The customer service folks were very nice - especially Megan because my daughter left her makeup bag in the room. So Megan was super helpful and had it mailed to me immediately. I really appreciated her working with me and being so understanding.

Short getaway

Overall this place was great and we enjoyed our stay! The view is amazing like pictured, the resort pools and beach access is also amazing! We did see and kill two cockroaches, I think this can be expected in these type of buildings? People mention about updates needed, I agree it could use some updating but for the price I do think this place was worth it. Unless I’m paying for. 5 star resort like sandals, I don’t expect perfection. We will return to Westwinds in the future!!

Right beside the elevator — noisy!

The Westwinds building is awesome. We’ve stayed there before and love it. This particular unit, however, is right next to the elevator. The machinery from the elevator is incredibly noisy and goes alllllll night long. We didn’t get a decent night’s sleep during our stay. It’s on the top floor, so the view is nice. Decor is fine, but updates are needed; bathroom cabinets, for example, have peeling paint. We will stay in Westwinds again, but not this unit.

Looks great, but is not clean

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Sandestin. Great view, location, amenities. The last few times we have gone, the unit looks clean, but the floor is filthy. You walk barefoot in your unit and your sole of your foot is so dirty. No one mops!!! You pay money for a cleaning fee, but they are not cleaning like they should.
