We had an incredible stay! Although the weather wasn’t the best, we found plenty of things to do. The house was nice and stocked with anything we needed. Will definitely return!

Great family stay!

Our family greatly enjoyed this lovely home. It was comfortable and well equipped. The backyard pool was a wonderful oasis. Easy walking or bicycle distance to the beach or town. St. Simons Island was a great place to relax and explore!

My group of 6 had a lovely stay at the Ibis Roost! The house is very eclectic with nice-sized rooms and a well-stocked kitchen. One note (and we knew this going in) is that the entrance to the second bedroom upstairs is through the first bedroom so not 2 private rooms. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was perfectly clean and refreshing all week, we loved it! We rented a golf cart but the location is also walkable to the beach and restaurants which was very nice. The only downside we found was the bikes (included in rental and part of VRBO pictures and descriptions), 3 of 4 were not working so we didn’t have that flexibility to get around the island and when I inquired about repairs or replacement, I didn’t get a response until late in our stay. Otherwise, a very nice place and I would consider renting again if returning to Saint Simons Island.

Always a treat!

This was our 3rd or 4th time to stay at the Ibis Roost! It is our most favorite place to stay and it’s always A+! You won’t regret staying here. It is equipped with everything you need to feel like it’s your home away from home. We will be back again for sure!

This house was wonderful. Sitting by the pool looking at all the beautiful plants was so peaceful. My family and I loved the location . It is a short walk to the beach and village. The house is fully equipped with all you need. We will definitely stay here again.

Property was clean. Kitchen is well stocked. There’s a wagon for taking items to the beach and camp chairs, but bring your own beach chairs and towels. Unfortunately the auto cleaner for the pool was disconnected so the pool collected debris from the beautiful landscaping until the pool company came, saw the problem and reattached the equipment. Someone really should check this after each checkout. It shouldn’t be the guest’s responsibility. Otherwise pretty much as advertised.

A wonderful place to make memories!

The House was wonderful and we had plenty of room! It was well stocked and a short bike ride to the beach. We loved the area and will be back! I had a few questions about check out process and couldn’t reach the host so I hope we did everything right!

Wonderful 2 weeks at St Simone’s Ibis Roost!

Wonderful time. House was clean, perfect location to beach and town. Everything was walkable. House felt like home. All amenities you could want and Moore. Lovely circle, private and nice neighbors. Will rent again if returning to St Simone’s.

Property is true to listing. It’s a well tended home, from kitchen implements to Eilliams Sonoma hand soaps to a wall of books that are great beach reads. Beds are comfortable, furniture is nice. It’s stocked with all the things you need for the beach and the area. Wonderful fit for our crew - ages 10 to 78. Pool was a great reprieve during the hot July days when we weren’t at the beach. Pool chairs were great, vegetation around the pool was lush.

Great location, great house - exceeded expectations

We loved this location since it is walkable to the beach and to the Village. Pictures did not do the house justice. Very spacious, lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Pool was huge and very private. The house felt very homey, a feeling you don’t always get in a vacation home. We probably should have called earlier to get the door code, but it wasn’t a problem. The owner was very quick to respond when we contacted her. We had a GREAT stay!

So pleased

This was our 2nd time staying at Ibis Roost. Even though it is in a neighborhood, you feel line you are secluded. The pool is surrounded by beautiful green plants and flowers. It is so peaceful. This house has everything you would want. The owner is great and will work with you if you have any questions. I highly recommend you check it out.

Georgia Peaceful Paradise

The landscape, decor & pool were perfect. The street was very quiet. The swing out front is a beautiful place for photos. The front porch was a favorite for breakfast & the back porch has a screened in siting area that is so peaceful. The AC in the house stayed at a perfect temperature. They have plenty of floats & a wagon in the garage. The owners are Johnny on the spot for responding to issues. Example: The coffee pot was broken & within a couple hours we had a new one. Everything is so clean & neat. Location is perfect for downtown & east beach access. Only thing I will give a warning about is the upstairs. If you plan on having two couples in the rooms you HAVE to walk through one to get to the other & the bathroom has no door with a glass shower walk in. Was kind of awkward as it was kids & a MIL in that space. Other than that shared room and no door everything was PERFECT!!! Will book again when we come back. Also lights for pool and back yard trees is in the kitchen over the three tiered counter by the back door.
Front porch is a perfect relaxing space
The pool was warm as it get full sun in the day time & it was a perfect size.

Family vacation

This home was the perfect spot for a quiet laid back family vacation. We tracked with our 2 adult sons, our daughter in law and two of our bonus kids. There was plenary of space for us all to hang out comfortably and the pool are and front porch were our favorite spots to hang out. The home came right plenty of beach equipment and location to the village and public beach access were perfect. We would definitely stay in this home again and will be returning to St Simons Island hopefully soon.

Lovely first stay on St. Simon's Island

The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There were TV's in every bedroom, as well as cozy reading nooks. I am a fan of porch swings and there were two! It was nicely decorated. It was well stocked with games, books, and beach accessories.

Beautiful Cottage

Such a beautiful beach cottage on a quiet street. Backyard pool area is like a tropical oasis. We were all very comfortable and had everything we needed.
