Situato a soli 15 minuti al di fuori del Parco nazionale dei laghi di Waterton, The Sunset Cottage offre privacy, comfort e fascino per rendere la vostra vacanza un rifugio rigenerante! Immerso nell'amichevole frazione di Mountain View, con una vista panoramica sulle dolci colline della splendida campagna agricola dell'Alberta meridionale, questo è un posto in cui vorrai tornare ancora e ancora!

Il nostro cottage di 750 piedi quadrati ha appena subito un aggiornamento completo e accurato, rendendo tutto dentro e fuori moderno, fresco e nuovo! Sunset Cottage può ospitare 8 persone e comprende due camere da letto. Il master ha un letto matrimoniale e un grande armadio per la conservazione. La seconda camera ha 2 letti a castello (4 gemelli) e enormi cassetti per tonnellate di spazio, oltre ad alcuni scaffali sul comodino e un mini-armadio. Ogni letto ha la propria luce di lettura e presa elettrica per uso personale. Viene fornito anche un lettino portatile.

Una confortevole camera familiare comprende un camino elettrico per piacevoli serate, un divano (divano letto), 2 poltrone e un televisore a schermo piatto / lettore BLUERAY (collezione di film fornita). Dal comfort della camera familiare, puoi ammirare le grandi doppie porte scorrevoli in vetro pieno alla pittoresca vista sulle montagne e sul tramonto a ovest, oppure puoi goderti queste splendide viste dal bellissimo nuovo ponte di 400 mq appena fuori.

Sunset Cottage ha una nuova cucina completamente rinnovata, tra cui una nuova lavastoviglie e forno a microonde, nonché un grande tavolo perfetto per la preparazione dei pasti, i pasti e le serate di gioco! La cucina riceve luce naturale da 3 direzioni ed è un magnifico fulcro della casa. È inoltre fornito di stoviglie, tazze, utensili, pentole e padelle, pentole, stoviglie, tostapane, piastra per pancake elettrica e macchina per il caffè.

Il bellissimo bagno completo ha una luce naturale delicata e include una doccia piastrellata con combinazione di vasca in ceramica e grazioso bancone / lavandino. Una lavatrice e asciugatrice full size sono inclusi e sono racchiusi in un armadio nel bagno per la vostra convenienza.

Questa splendida proprietà offre un terreno di 1/2 acro con pozzo del fuoco, altalena, amaca e barbecue.

Altri servizi inclusi nel soggiorno sono: accesso WiFi, giochi da tavolo, giochi all'aperto (calcio, pallone da calcio, pallacanestro ecc ...) e bastoncini per arrostire il fuoco.

Great place to stay, only 20 min to Waterton National Park. It had everything we needed, we'll stocked kitchen, bbq, and kurig. The place was very clean with comfortable beds and fresh clean linens and towels.

Everything went well from booking to finding the place all through our 2 night stay at this quaint cottage. It is so conveniently located -- close to Waterton Park, a general store with gas and grocery right across, but also very quiet. There were books, DVDs, toys inside the Cottage to keep our kiddos occupied. My older kids loved exploring the yard, taking in the view, finding bugs, and playing on hammock & swing. Such a charming home and we really enjoyed our time.

We stayed in July for 5 days. The accommodation was great for our family (2 kids). Very clean and great amenities like deck, yard, fire pit, filtered water, coffee! The kitchen was well stocked as well! There are a couple playgrounds 2min away, as well as a store selling ice cream, groceries, and some quick eats. There was no AC but it cooled down nicely at night. All in all, we highly recommend it!

The property had everything you needed for a weekend away. The kids loved making fires in the pit at night. We saw so many stars it was gorgeous. We had a short trip to Waterton for excursions and our host was very responsive and helpful and supportive. Would definitely recommend staying over. We had an issue with an appliance but it was resolved to satisfaction.

Stay was amazing for a girls trip with our 2 toddlers. The hosts were very responsive and understanding. Kitchen was well equipped! We did not need to purchase anything extra from what we brought to cook with. We received the amazing view on the last day of our stay, as there was a lot of overcast throughout the weekend. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient having dishwasher and laundry access. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This is a comfortable enough cabin conveniently located to Waterton Lakes and with nice views of the Canadian and U.S. Rockies (including Chief Mountain in Glacier National Park, if you’re a mountain aficionado like me). However, the water has a peculiar odor and taste which I was only made aware of 2.5 days prior to arrival. There’s a separate store -bought water “cooler” in the kitchen/dining area for drinking. The water is soft and leaves a slippery feeling on your skin.when you shower. The driveway is grass so if you arrive in a driving rainstorm like we did, the driveway area is muddy in spots. Lastly, the furnace is quite loud and located in the master bedroom closet. It will disturb your sleep at night.

This was an amazing cozy little place with all of the amenities that anyone needs. There was more than enough linens, dishes and even coffee. We were 5 adults, and the beds were very comfortable. Nicole, the owner, was super friendly and accommodating. We will be back and also recommend it to everyone who is going to that area.

Loved the proximity to Waterton park and the peace and quiet to come home to at the end of the day. Kids loved the bunk beds and the firepit. The fully equipped kitchen and barbecue made for healthy home cooked meals to fuel our hikes.

Had a very enjoyable stay, check in was easy, host answered any questions right away, there was a store right next door which was super convenient. 15 mins from Waterton Park. A beautiful drive going to and from the park. Lovely firepit. Would stay here again for sure.

Great little get away

Had a relaxing time by the fire pit. Very quiet, loved listening to the coyote’s at night. Very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place Near Waterton

This is a lovely cottage to stay while visiting Waterton and Glacier National Parks. Nicole was very responsive. The cottage was well stocked with items an clean that made our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage was very clean when we arrived and had everything we would need / want for a delightful stay. The kids loved the bunk beds and drawers of games and toys. I loved all the care that was put into our stay, the Christmas tree, the cozy fireplace, the magnificent view of the mountains, and trees surrounding it offering privacy. The kitchen had everything I needed and lots of cupboard room. Very happy with our stay here and could not have asked for a better place.

Welcome to our (your) home away from home! My name is Stephanie, and this charming little home is the culmination of my life-long dream--to hold a sliver of property in the hamlet that captured my heart as a child: Mountain View, Alberta. I grew up in this extraordinary place, then left to attend college at BYU in Utah. After graduating, marrying, and starting a family, my husband and I began a lengthy search to secure property in my hometown so that our children could frequently experience the wonders, beauty, and adventure of this most remarkable haven on earth! This year we decided to open up our cozy abode (AKA Sunset Cottage) to other families and individuals who are looking for the perfect place to relax and recoup between all of their adventures and memory-making in the fantastic Waterton Park area.

We love the comfortable coziness of our cottage, as well as the privacy of our property. On one side the cottage has an area that is completely sheltered by trees. This is where we spend our evenings laughing and relaxing around the fire pit, where the trees protect us from the wind, and we can enjoy the beauty of the stars.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Location, location, location! Really, the location is so ideal. Our home is sheltered by trees, but just across the road is a wonderful country store with several amenities, including--but not limited to--delicious waffle ice-cream cones! Our family loves morning walks (either for ice-cream, or exercise!), afternoon catnaps in the hammock, and starry-night evenings by the campfire. The brand new large deck is the perfect viewing location to watch the frequent breathtaking sunsets, lie on your back and look at the stars, or maybe even catch a glimpse of the occasional Northern Lights (if you are super lucky!).

A significant and unique benefit of our vacation home is the combined skillset of our vacation home managers, my brother Brandon and his wife Nicole. Both are known for their kindness and attention to detail. They will do everything in their power to make your stay exactly what you have in mind. Brandon is the mastermind and master-carpenter behind the gorgeous renovations you will see throughout the house. He can do pretty much anything, and is on call should you need anything at all! Nicole's expertise and passion is in the travel and tourism industry. She loves serving people, and helping them discover the wonderful things our area has to offer. Nicole has worked serving tourists in several premier Waterton Park area hotels and restaurants, including The Prince of Wales Hotel, and Waterton Lakes Resort. She has connections to many local businesses, and can offer unique Vacation Packages to our visitors. Nicole is also an avid runner, hiker, cross country skier, adventure-seeker and mother of 3, and can give you first-hand recommendations and information on most of the area's trails and sightseeing.
