I think the fact that we've stayed here six years in a row says it all - St Bride's is a beautiful cottage in the heart of St David's and is the ideal location for a holiday.

Excellent place, well equipped and well located. We were worried about parking but this turned out not to be an issue. A parking spot on the street outside was there whenever we needed it. Communication with host, and retrieving the codes, was complicated by having to go via the app, and there not being sufficient signal in the area for fast internet.

Comfortable cottage in great location

The cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, the pulley was useful and we were always able to park nearby. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Powell!

A great place in St David’s

A great stay although asked for an earlier checkin (3pm) than the 5pm stated checkin time but received no response.

St Bride's Cottage is a really special place to stay in St David's - in a fantastic location, it's ideal for all that St David's has to offer, but is on a quiet side road so doesn't suffer from the noise and busyness of the main high street. Powell has set up the perfect holiday cottage - three quiet bedrooms, an excellent bathroom, a kitchen with everything you need (plus room for a table that seats six), and a cosy living room. We can't praise St Bride's Cottage highly enough — this is the fifth year in a row that we've stayed, and we're already planning our visit for next year!

The owner/manager was terrific and very easy to communicate with. The cottage was perfectly located on a very quiet street just a short walk from the High Street and all of the shops and pubs and restaurants. Nights were very quiet, days also, we were very surprised by how quiet it was even during the busy times on the weekend. Wonderful! The kitchen was very well equipped with a French press coffee maker and a nice gas range with a nice oven, and a full sized refrigerator. The washer worked well. The back terrace is nicely accommodating for a couple or small family and it has a clothes drying rack that is very handy for laundry days. Wifi on the EXT is good and strong. We brought our own music streamer and Qobuz streamed effortlessly, providing nice quiet music for nights in. Parking is easy on the street, we were usually able to find a spot right by the cottage. A very easy walk to the beach and to walking paths. One could park their car and never use it until it was time to depart, everything is to hand. Would recommend!

Although check in wasn't still 5pm Powell messaged us as soon as it was ready for us to go a bit earlier which was great.It was super clean on arrival and smelt fresh. Excellent space for the 5 of us lots of places to dry beach stuff every day. Our only negative would be the comfort. The beds are terribly uncomfortable which meant we didn't sleep well all week. And there is generally no where comfortable to sit. Thankfully we were out a lot but when we came back would of been nice to have a comfortable sofa to sit on. Some added cushions to the dining chairs would of been nice . We didn't even sit outside as there was no cushions for out there either. For us this means we wouldn't stay again and were glad we didn't have longer to stay which is a shame but the house had perfect space for us and super clean and perfect location and added bonus of no pets allowed!

3 years running

This year my husband, two sons (7 and 8 years old), cousin, her son and I stayed at St Brides. This is the third year in a row we have stayed at the property. As always it was clean and tidy, provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is within a two minute walk from the centre of St Davids, a five minute walk to the park and approximately ten minute drive to white sands beach. We are all looking forward to returning again next year! Thank you Powell!

Cosy cottage

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Even when staying on a very rainy and windy week we had a great time here in the beautiful coat cottage. If you love the countryside, peace and quiet it’s ideal. Facilities are excellent and surrounded by beautiful walks with the coast not far away. Accommodation is excellent with everything you need. Comfy beds and sofas with a stones throw from St David’s and a very short drive to whitesands. Kitchen good to cook in with big table to eat at. Worked for all the family. We will definitely book again for next year!

St Davids Gem

This 3-bedroom period cottage on a quiet street had all the modern conveniences but kept the look and charm of the village. Shops, pubs, restaurants and award-winning take-aways around the corner and an easy walk down to the cathedral. Key lock box on door. Friends went off in different directions and came back as they pleased. Small patio back yard for al fresco eating or BBQ. Clothes line. Would book again.

Comfortable central location

Excellently located for easy access to St David's shops, pubs & restaurants as well as the Cathedral, Bishop's Palace and Information Centre, This cottage was very comfortable and spacious. Access was simple via the key safe. The kitchen was well equipped .The courtyard is a real sun trap - we sat outside most evenings. . Parking was no problem - a space could be found within a 100 yards of the property on each day. The instructions on recycling were a little complicated (each local authority has different approaches) but we hope we got it right in the end! This was a great property in a great location and really made our week. Thank you Powell.

Great little cottage with all the modern amenities, great location in the heart of St Davids

Had a great weekend with my 15 year old son and 10 year old daughter. The cottage was a great base for us to enjoy the local beaches for surfing and for jumping at Blue Lagoon. the location was great to nip out to local stores for fresh food and for the local eateries. Weather was pretty good but on the odd days it was not having the cottage was great to back to and made a pleasant change from camping. The kids loved the cottage and its location as they were able to explore St Davids and all it had to offer. Three good bedrooms gave us all our own space, my daughter claimed the double bed and my son the second room, so yours truly got the bunk beds which were surprisingly comfortable for an old bloke. The cottage has a large bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a large lounge and great kitchen dinning area. A small back garden which was great for drying our wetsuits, did'nt get to use the BBQ , ate out too much. The kids loved it which is what was important for me. Would recommend.

We had an amazing week at this lovely property. The house was spacious, well equipped and in a great location for exploring St Davids and the surrounding area. Everything we needed was there, and the property made a really comfortable base for our stay.Our only slight gripe was the food composter in the back garden, which did attract quite a few flies during our stay. As a result, we were mindful of keeping the kitchen doors closed, which was a little inconvenient at times.That said, this was only a minor issue and certainly didn’t detract from what was otherwise a fantastic stay. We would highly recommend both the property and the host and would happily stay again.

Apologies about the flies from the composter. I dont think the weather is helping but dealing with food waste from holuday cittages is quite a problem.

Lovely quirky character cottage. Everything you could need and more . Only minor criticism was towels are not supplied. This is probably in the property description but we didn't notice this so didn't take our own . We found a couple in bathroom cupboard and used those . House very close to town so pubs and eating out was great .Highly recommend but take towels unless things change

Excellent location and beautifully appointed kitchen

This could not have been more central to the centre. with shops, pubs and eating places. Just a walk from the magnificent cathedral and Bishop's Palace.. The cosy cottage had pretty well every thing ( although a few guide books /local history books would have been useful) Excellently appointed kitchen..

Brilliant!

The cottage is a lovely cottage, with plenty of space. Very clean and tidy and has everything you need to make meals at the cottage. There is an alley way only 20 second away which pops out in the centre of St David’s. There is ample outside and near the cottage, all of which is free. The cottage is only a 5-10 minute drive from Whitesands beach and only a 5-10 minute walk from the local supermarket. Great communication with the owner. I would highly recommend the cottage and we will definitely be returning next year! Thank you again Powell!

Delightful Cottage

The property was exactly as described. Tastefully modernised, but with so much of the traditional stonework. In terms of facilities, kitchen ware, etc, we wanted for nothing. I would recommend to all those wishing for a quiet, yet central, retreat.
