Great view from the terrace

We spent a nice time in the house. The location is beautiful and there are lots of great activities around.

Charming place in the beautiful mountains of Asturias

We loved the place, it was the perfect location for watching the vuelta a españa cycle race which went up to the Lagos de Covadonga on the Sunday. We cycled up there the next day too, absolutely stunning landscapes. The house is situated at the top of a little village, the views are incredible, you really feel like you're in the mountains, Watching the cloud and mist roll through the valley in the mornings was highlight, as was sitting on the balcony in the afternoon sun after a hard day's cycling! The house was well equipped, all you need for a great stay. Full of character, recommended!

schöne, ruhige Lage. Alles sehr sauber, Ausstattung läßt nichts vermissen. Einziger Nachteil: Mit normalem PKW kann man die Unterkunft nicht direkt anfahren, da zu steil.

Het bleek voor onze auto onmogelijk om voor de deur te komen. De laatste honderd meter gaan met 30% omhoog over een slecht onderhouden weg. Een 4x4 is hiervoor een must. Huis was matig schoongemaakt, wel voorzien van de zaken die je mag verwachten in keuken en badkamer. Voor ons waren de bedden te smal om goed te kunnen slapen, maar dat is een kwestie van wennen. Mooiste was de omgeving die werkelijk fantastisch is, met veel flora en fauna en op loopafstand van Covadonga.

Yes, the driveway is steep. As someone who also comes from the Netherlands, I find it amazing how steep and winding the mountain roads of Spain can be. Fortunately, my husband is the one who drives up to our house in a regular car. I always walk up with the car nicely parked under the trees at the bottom.

Disappointing

The property needs a lot of TLC. Bedrooms are dark and 1 in particular damp. Promised views obscured by overgrown vegetation. Good location for Picos & coast, which is why we chose it. Sadly would not want to revisit in current condition.... Need to give honest review.

We absolutely welcome frank feedback from our guests. This review prompted us to block our bookings and investigate the situation. We discovered a leaking pipe in the rear bedroom which has since been fixed. We have also offered the guests a free stay in the future. A "make-over" is scheduled for July 2019.

Rustic house in the heart of Picos De Europa

We stayed at this property for 3 nights at the end of June.It was very convenient to be able to arrive at our convenience because we had already been given information regarding access to the property in advance from the owner and very precise details of the location within the village.From the balcony there is a gorgeous view of the valley and the surrounding mountainsThere is outside furniture and it is the pefect place to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine at the end of a busy day exploring the area..Also there is a clothes line from which it is possible to dry the laundry.The interior of the property is very quirky and comfortable.From the descripton of the property which advertised it as newly refurbished I was expecting a higher standard of finish throughout the interior.The only means of cooking is on a gas hob.However the property is very near to Covadonga and Cangas de Onis where there are plenty of restaurants/cafes.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our vist and will return to Picos De Europa in the future.

Jolie petite maison

Maison agréable. La terrasse est vraiment le point fort de cette location. Bien située pour les randonnées. Il manque tout de même un four (ça peut servir...) et un accès internet (pour des recherches sur la région). Vacances sympathique. Il manquait juste le soleil mais ça, c'est les Asturies...
