It was a peaceful, relaxing stay with family! I would just add to possibly put in better lighting especially around the stairs and have a new coffee maker! Otherwise it was a warm and wonderful experience!

We had a really nice and peaceful time at the cabin. It’s a bit rustic but very comfortable. Really enjoyed the deck, dock and evenings by the fire place. Definitely would consider coming back.

We loved everything about our stay in the Log Cabin. It was comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs down to the water were wonderful, and it was lovely to have access to kayaks and a paddle board. Even better was the ability to have a warm outdoor shower after an ocean swim along with a relaxing soak in the hot tub. We will be back next summer!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at the log cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the large deck, hot tub, and well-stocked kitchen that made our dinner prep a breeze and the fireplace was awesome. Beds were comfortable, the third bedroom off the second bedroom was a little quirky with a smaller than normal door and very sloped ceiling but it certainly worked for us. We really appreciated the bathroom upstairs adjoining the master bedroom and bedroom two. Our only suggestion is that the house would have benefitted from some additional lighting, it generally felt pretty dark inside even though the weather was sunny the entire time we were there. Also for folks planning to use the dock be aware there were a large number of stairs to get down to the ocean and the stairs/railings were not in the best shape and would be difficult to navigate for anyone with reduced mobility.

Secret Cove is stunning. The wrap around porch and kayaks were highlights of this property, to fully enjoy the natural environment. It was quite cool to stay in a genuine log cabin. The bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower was tiny and awkward, but there was an outdoor shower. I was disappointed with the value. For the cost, I anticipated the main living spaces to be more clean and tidy. For example, the dining table had crumbs/dust between the slats (might be an outdoor dining table? ). Some items need replacing- for example, the rug had several loose strings. The hot tub was gross, with an unpleasant odour.

Absolutely fantastic. Extremely comfortable/cool log cabin in a breathtaking setting. Afternoons spent on the deck lounging in the sun after exploring the vast amount of hiking tails accessed right out the door was amazing. Jennifer is a superb host, very helpful and responsive plus she welcomed our 3 dogs. Very highly reccomend checking it out for yourself.
