We loved our stay! The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Communication was easy throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay again!

The 7 bed/7 private bath home served our group of 14 70 year olds very well. We cooked in for 3 of our nights, ate cooked breakfast in every morning and lunch was piecemeal. The kitchen was small for 7 women trying to prepare and clean up meals, but it was very well stocked. There were ample pots and pans, all sizes of baking and prep dishes. 2 coffee pots and a Keurig met our hot beverage needs. A drink frig was a big plus. The front living area had 2 futons and chairs for seating, but our group found those hard to get out of with our various knee, hip and back issues. Would have appreciated sofas rather than futons. The property is lovely. It could use a bit of work by trimming bushes so the ground floor rooms can enjoy the view a bit more.For our group, the bedrooms could have used more lighting. The back den with the 2 recliners was very popular, but again, the only other seating was a futon. That room could use more lighting as well.The upstairs rooms all have walk-in showers and extra seating. We loved the spacious dining room that seated us all. A representative of the host greeted us and walked us through any questions we had. The host was super responsive to questions and provided extra linens and light bulbs. Our favorite was s’mores around the firepit. Wood is available locally. We enjoyed our fall adventure in the lovely Lakeview Lodge. Thank you.

Nice private property. Was just what we were looking for. Our family enjoyed the house. One of the best features was that everyone has their own bathroom...big plus. A second full fridge would be a great add on for large groups staying a week or more. There are 2 small ones to hold drinks and things but for our group it made it a bit tougher to support. Nothing negative to say, just an observation from our size group. Host is extremely responsive. We needed something and she jumped on it right away.

Beautiful home and area to explore. We used it for our wedding. Neighbors were not kind, but the host was very helpful. Great place if you have a big group.

Spacious, well equipped house (including kitchen, games, activities, outdoor equipment, etc. ) Lovely property that was perfect for our group, as we try to spend most of our time outside around a firepit.The layout with each bedroom being a suite with its own bathroom was ideal! The owner is super responsive to all questions. This is a great property for larger groups and extended family gatherings!

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay there! The only downside was the microwave that broke shortly after arrival, which made it difficult to heat up stuff, including things for our children. The house was spacious and clean. We really had a great time and communication with the owner was very easy.

Wonderful retreat

Rented the place for extended weekend (family reunion and birthday party). Absolutely lovely: the house is gorgeous and has everything you need, the owner was very helpful in answering my question and checking in-very smooth. The place is surrounded by nature and very beautiful.

Great House for Large Family

We all loved our stay for 2 nights and the nearby State Park with the beach was the cherry on top. Loved that every bedroom had a bathroom. The bathroom fixtures could use an upgrade but overall house was well facilitated.

A Spacious Family Gathering Location

This is property is exactly as advertised; clean, quiet, & well equipped with room for everyone. We were a three generation family gathering who enjoyed games in the spacious yard, relaxing on the deck, the easy walk to the trails, family meals at the large dining tables as well as the privacy of ensuite bathrooms. The owners are easy to communicate with and very responsive.

This property was extremely disappointing and honestly unsafe in several areas. The decks around the property had large sections of missing and peeling paint, making them look neglected and poorly maintained. The backyard was even worse — there was a huge pile of lumber left sitting out with nails sticking out everywhere, which is a serious hazard for both adults and children.To make matters worse, there was a strong raw sewage smell throughout the backyard, especially near the turkey mound area. The odor was unbearable at times and made it impossible to comfortably enjoy being outside.We were also required to pay an additional deposit in order to have a tent and dance floor set up because we were told it was for “lawn maintenance protection,” yet the backyard itself was already full of holes, uneven ground, and poorly maintained areas. It felt unreasonable to charge extra for lawn protection when the property was already in such rough condition.Overall, the property did not match expectations, appeared poorly maintained, and raised multiple safety and sanitation concerns. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

This house was nearly perfect for our family reunion of 17 people staying at the house and another 10 joining from locally. Everyone loved the space, great for the hot weather, cool inside and with room for all of us. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Many of my family enjoyed the kayaks. The kitchen was spacious with its own table and plenty of dishes and other necessities. There was a small problem with the dishwasher, but it still worked and I was assured it would be fixed. The location was great: good views, quiet, nearby lake and not too far from stores.

Excellent Place to Family Getto's

This place was exactly as shown in the pictures, nice big bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Deck was really big and can accommodate lot of people. House was very neat and Marina was really helpful in replying to our needs whenever we called. We shall definitely suggest and revisit this place again in future. Best Regards, Ritesh

Our review of the property

The property was very large and accomodated our family. A few observations...the furniture was very distressed, the kitchen was small compared to the size of the house and the oven took longer than normal to warm the food. Since the trash was only collected once a week, the trash box should have been larger to accomodate more bags.

Mini Family Reunion

We had a great stay at this gorgeous property. It was spacious and tastefully designed to offer a cozy cabin feel. I really can't say enough positive things about this place, but I will list a few cons: - does not provided towels or linen (bed sheets and pillow cases). I understand this may be related to COVID/health concerns but the "cleaning fee" is enormous and should cover the costs of these items. - some sinks had slow drainage. I would like to thank the hosts for being super responsive and helpful in answering all my questions. I recommend this place and will possibly book for future events.

Spacious and well located property with all the amenities

We were a group of 18 people including 10 young grandchildren and there was plenty of space for everyone. On a weekend we swelled to 22 people and no problem absorbing them; there are plenty of roll-out cots with linens to accommodate 23 and rooms are large enough to accommodate them. House is surrounded by fields of wildflowers which we went and picked some bouquets but beware of ticks and bees if you venture in that wilderness. Entering the home, your spirits soar about 40 feet to the top of the great room, following the converging lines of the massive rising chimney which serves to divide living from dining spaces. As this was once a B&B, every room has its fireplace and bathroom integral to it. For Swimming you drive five minutes to the Beltzville State park (free) which has a nice beach, picnic tables, and a snack bar. The house has 3 kayaks which must’ve treked to the lakefront down a long trail. The kids loved this house. Plenty of room in and out for them to spread their wings and that they did. We went to a county fair, the world’s largest country general store, an old fashioned ice cream shop , a lakebed full of boulders , etc, but mostly this old writer was content to enjoy the property and do the regular grocery shopping at a GIANT about 10-15 min. Away.
