Questa casa Riverfront Lodge è il rifugio perfetto in montagna in qualsiasi momento dell'anno! Situata su un acro di terra, con 160 piedi di facciata sul fiume lungo il bellissimo fiume Truckee, questa sofisticata casa in stile lodge, con soffitti alti 20 piedi e pavimenti in ciliegio brasiliano, è di 4.800 s. f. e offre molti servizi di lusso nel massimo stile e comfort di montagna. La casa dispone di 4 camere matrimoniali con bagno privato (1 camera con un letto king size + divano letto doppio, 2 camere con letti queen size, 1 camera con 2 letti gemelli XL, e poi c'è un gemello su un letto a castello doppio nel gioco /stanza da festa. La maggior parte dei bagni ha doppi lavandini, finiture in granito o calcare, soffione radiante a pavimento e cabine doccia con doppi soffioni o vasca idromassaggio / doccia. La casa ha un soggiorno formale con grande camino, bar per l'intrattenimento e pavimenti in ciliegio brasiliano, un'enorme cucina in stile gourmet completamente fornita con bar per la colazione e cabina dispensa, un'accogliente camera familiare con grande TV a schermo piatto con un enorme confortevole a forma di U divani e morbidi tappeti, un garage triplo collegato alla macchina, una grande sala giochi con TV, tavolo da biliardo e un centro fitness completo con macchina per pesi, cardio scale e TV dedicata per riprodurre video di allenamento. La grande lavanderia si trova nella parte inferiore della casa ed è servita da uno scivolo per la biancheria di tutti i livelli. I 1.000 s. f. del ponte avvolgente è perfetto per intrattenere all'aperto e ha una grande vasca idromassaggio per 6-7 persone con vista sul fiume Truckee. Questa casa è molto privata e la posizione è serena. La trazione integrale e le catene sono necessarie in inverno. La casa è a 10 minuti. guidare a Squaw, situato tra Truckee e Squaw Valley ... il luogo perfetto per godersi tutti i negozi, i ristoranti e la vita notturna di Truckee !! Di recente abbiamo installato un generatore in modo da non rimanere mai senza alimentazione.

Siamo situati tra Truckee e Squaw Valley, a pochi minuti da tutte le stazioni sciistiche e dai laghi locali. Sia che tu stia cercando una vacanza estiva perfetta con accesso a tutti i laghi locali o la migliore pesca a mosca nel cortile di casa, o, vuoi tornare al comfort e al lusso dopo averlo lanciato sulle piste in inverno, questa casa è il tuo Basecamp perfetto per una vacanza o un soggiorno indimenticabile a North Shore Tahoe!

Huge house!

It was a wonderful house for our group of friends and our teenage kids. It was HUGE with tons of space to sprawl out. The kitchen was well stocked and served as the central gathering place for our group. The upstairs play room with the pool table and bunk beds was a great place for the teenagers to hang out and sleep. The hot tub didn't work on the last night which was a bummer. The only drawback on this house was the entry/exit from the highway. Right after the bridge, you need AWD or chains for the dirt road. Luckily we didn't have much snow during our stay, but if there was, driving to and from the road would have felt scary.

Absolutely amazing trip to Tahoe!

This was our 6th winter vacation with this crew and is certainly at the top of the list! The property is amazing, and access to multiple resorts was icing on the cake ... I don't know where to start!- Breathtaking views of the Truckee river from the hot tub and the entire back of the house.- Huge and well stocked kitchen with an amazing island and dinner table to fit all 12 of us.- Multiple family rooms.- Plenty of bathrooms w/ great showers and heated floors.- Garage fit both cars with ease and has a second refrigerator.- Snow to play on when we were not on the mountain. - Great location: we were able to ski Sugarbowl, Northstar, and Heavenly (other resorts available we will have to come back to hit them all).Bridge 11 is the only way in and can be a little intimidating at first but was easily navigable - even in the snow. I would definitely recommend 4 wheel drive for the winter.We highly recommend this property for your next trip to Tahoe!

Amazing property!

A group of friends stayed for the weekend for a fishing trip on the Truckee. The house is well set up for a group trip, very nice and in a great setting right by the river, we loved it.

Riverside & Spacious House

As many reviews have said, being on the river is special. The house is spacious and feels very open. Plenty of chairs in the garage to use by the river. Communications with the owner was very easy. Once you cross the bridge there is a short section of dirt road to access the house. The driveway is large and can accommodate many cars which was helpful.

Well appointed gem in the heart of Donner/Tahoe

This home is incredible. We gather as a family once a year to share memories of our mom we lost 2 years ago, and our mom would have loved this place! Intricate hand-carved woodwork, with dragon flies and frogs throughout, massive fireplace with matching mantel, and professional chefs kitchen! When I say well appointed kitchen, I mean a kitchen with every tool and gadget you need to make your entertaining easy! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with extra blankets and supplies to make your stay comfortable. En suites make staying with your adult family easy. The home is multilevel and spread out, so you have privacy! Communication with the host was excellent and we had everything we needed to have a great week. Home is far enough away from town to feel secluded, but really only a five minute drive to restaurants, breweries, Donner Lake, and hiking trails. The river runs right in front of the property and floating was a breeze! Highway 89 also runs along the river so traffic noise can we frustrating at times, but we got used to it quickly! Would definitely recommend this home for your next getaway! I bet it’s magical at Christmas.

Family Reunion

What a fun adventure for our family reunion of 14. The home had 5 spacious bedrooms all with on suites, that was so nice. Large gathering room with beautiful gourmet kitchen well stocked with everything you might need. Fun game room with lots to do. Enjoyed the large hot tub and outdoor space with bad mitten and water toys. Right on the Truckee River the kids were able to catch a few fish. The property manager was very nice and easy to work with helped us with any issues right away. Just a little FYI the home has quite a few stairs for those who have troubles, coming from Truckee on HWY 89 it's a very busy road with no turning lane onto a private drive.

Great riverside stay for multiple families

We were 3 families (grandparents and their two grown children with their husbands and kids). Diverse bunch with different needs (elderly, disabled, 5yo-15yo). This house was a perfect space for us. Clean, well equipped kitchen, close to river and driving distance to Tahoe beaches and grocery. It does get hot in the summer, no a/c, fans are provided but not all windows have screens so if you open a window to cool down you may also get bitten by bugs (one upper bedroom specifically). Knowing this I would still come back thought because the location and space is so good!

Great house

Our group of 14 had an amazing time staying at this house and skiing at Palisades. We got snow on several of the days and Joe was very responsive to our questions. As another review mentioned, 4 wheel drive is an absolute must for this house in the winter, as we couldn't get out of the driveway and up the road one very slushy morning, even in 4WD Low.

Great Family Reunion!

Awesome location and property. So close to everything, but far enough away from the town for REAL peace and quiet. Everything was as advertised…the house is AMAZING! So much room, and right on the river. The only issue we encountered was a last minute power outage which lasted about 9 hours that we were not informed about…but that was the city/county and not Joe. Great Stay!

Great house for large groups

Our family of 10 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay at this river house! Four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, plus a loft and game room so the 3 teens in our group could have their own space. Beautiful gourmet kitchen to cook anything you want, with a huge island and extra large dining room table so everyone could cook and eat meals together. Being riverfront with a hot tub was icing on the cake after a fun day of hiking and exploring the area. This house is perfectly located so that we were able to explore downtown Truckee, Donner Lake, Tahoe City/Beach and Emerald Bay during our 5-day stay. The grocery store was a quick 5 minute drive. Yes, there is some highway noise, but it wasn’t that bad even though we were there on one of the busiest weekends (July 4th). You’re not going to find another house that can so easily accommodate large groups that is this private, right on the river, with these kinds of amenities and such an easy drive to so many attractions. The road noise was a very small price to pay considering all the pros this house has to offer. Some reviews have mentioned the neighbors being unfriendly, but we didn’t have any problems with them. Our whole group had a great time!

Wonderful Stay!

My family of teens and adults just stayed at this wonderful property for a Holiday vacation. When the mountain closed, we had a great time playing pool, board games, cooking a great meal in a well stocked kitchen, watching movies and enjoying the hot tub. The house has plenty of space with a separate game area with a TV, and two additional living areas with TVs. The main great room overlooks the beautiful Truckee River. It is also conveniently located between Truckee and Palisades Tahoe. The host Joe was a great resource and made our stay seamless. I highly recommend this property.

What a wonderful week! Perfect location.. Minutes to everything!

Absolutely beautiful home with lovely hosts. Our family had an adventure every day and then to come home back to a house that Also catered to adults and children was so nice. The kids absolutely loved playing in the river in front of the house, playing pool as soon as they woke up and before bed . We all enjoyed the hot tub! Everything you could need is at the house… kitchen is fully equipped for lots of guests. Tons of room for everyone to spread out and tons of windows and porch space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Family vacation

Loved this property,great house right on the River, lots of space for family to spread out. Everything was spotless and well stocked. Communication was great. Any questions were answered quickly. It is a great vacation spot for everything. We swam, we hiked, golf, casino, and even went on a bike ride on a trail. Grandparents had a blast with the electric bikes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect vacation spot!,,

We had a great time at the property for a 3-night stay and the property management was super helpful. It's location is amazing, so close to the mountain. All the amenities in the home are thoughtful and the home is so beautiful!

Amazing property

Great high end home that is clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well appointed and view of the river from the living area was amazing! Bbq, hot tub, and pool table were great too. The large house fit 14 of us easily! The access is of the highway across a private bridge abs down a dirt road which was snow when we stayed. We needed 4 wheel drive to get to the highway one slushy and very slippery morning so be prepared for that.

Fun on (and in) the River!!!

We loved our time in Laura's beautiful home! This huge home offered plenty of bedrooms for our diverse group with amenities like the hot tub, grill and large deck. I wish there was more deck furniture however, we brought our own chairs to sit IN the river and play and we just brought them up to the deck in the evening. The kitchen was spectacular and allowed for us to cook as a group. There were a couple of things that needed tending to but Laura was going to take care of them. All in all, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! Just one downside - traffic from HWY 89 was noisy at times, but we got use to it!

Magical stay.

My family and I spent three amazing nights at this property and had the most magical time. The Truckee River is just steps off of the wrap around porch. The property was spacious enough to accommodate the 14 of us and have plenty of room to spread out. The kids (and adults) absolutely loved the bonus room with a pool table and exercise equipment. We took advantage of the hot tub and the huge grill on the back patio. My husband not only enjoyed grilling out but also the expansive chefs kitchen. Fun was had by all at Lake Tahoe just minutes away and a quick drive into Old Truckee as well to do a little shopping. We definitely plan on returning to check out the property some time in the winter months.

Annual Summer Family Trip

The house was large enough to accommodate our entire family, well stocked and furnished. However, upon arrival we discovered that the spa water was very dirty and cloudy. Additionally, three of the five bathroom toilet seats were very loose to the point they would swivel from side to side making it difficult to raise, lower or sit due to sliding. One of the bathroom showers with a double shower head failed to drain properly, only allowing a very short shower before overflowing the shower pan. I called Joe Olagaray (owner) on Monday and reported needed repairs. Joe seemed responsive and said he would have a plumber and spa technician address the issues. Within hours the spa technician arrived and said there was no chlorine in the spa. He remedied the problem and departed. Unfortunately, the plumber never arrived and said repairs were never addressed during our week stay. I am surprised and disappointment by the owner’s failure to follow through with such a minor request and repairs. In addition, in the turquoise bedroom the bedding was very poor. The mattress pad was in poor condition, had large holes on the sides, one corner of it was missing the elastic, and thus the top sheet would not remain in place. We would end up sleeping on the pad itself. Several of the beds sheets in the house were very thin probably due to overuse. These concerns about bedding were not reported to the owner as we didn’t know this at the time I spoke to him. I would have given a higher score if it were not for the failure of the owner to address said items.

Wonderful House

Great size house for our group of 6 adults and 5 kiddos ages 7-16. Lots of sleeping spaces as well as PLENTY of bathrooms. House had everything you could need and never want to leave. Bonus/ game room was a hit with all the kids! River frontage was excellent for fishing and floating. The backyard had just enough room for yard games with easy access to the house and river. Driveway was perfect for kids to use scooters, skateboards, and hoverboards with plenty of parking. Fantastic way to spend a long weekend with friends and family!

Generous Owners

Large property with 3 master bedrooms all equally nice + 2 rooms for kids and lots of lounging areas, which makes it perfect for 3 families. Location right on the river where you can raft for few miles down the river. It is on the highway so a bit noisy but beautiful. House was very well stocked with everything you need, the only thing that needs improvement is outdoor furniture, they could use a nice dinning set on the patio. The hot tub is very nice. The neighbors are not friendly, actually very rude, and they want you to write a bad review about the property so no one goes there. But don't pay attention to them the house and the owners are nice. The area is all private properties so walking right outside the property to hike or stroll is highly discouraged. Owner returned our security deposit in a timely manner

We were looking for a second home in Tahoe where we could enjoy both the snow and water in a beautiful mountain setting. We are excited to share this beautiful lodge type home with you.

This large lodge style home is beautiful decorated and situated on over an acre on the Truckee River. It is convenient to both Truckee and Tahoe City. It has been planned out well with 4 large bedrooms, each with it's own private bathroom. It is the perfect location to hang out on the river on a sunny day or to ski at one of the top notch Tahoe ski resorts. Several, including Squaw Valley are just minutes away. There is plenty of room for a family reunion or for several families to share.

When we're in Tahoe, we love to be comfortable, enjoy the beauty of the area, and be spoiled with a few luxuries...like the personal home gym, hot-tub on the Riverside deck, play a game of pool, watch movies, and the gourmet style kitchen as we love to cook and entertain. In winter-time, this property transforms into a winter-wonderland! We're an easy drive to and back from Squaw, so when others are still braving the red-light parade, you'll be having Apres' Ski in the riverside hot tub! You can sled and snowshoe right on the property. We are conveniently located just a few minutes from Squaw Valley, Northstar and Alpine Meadows, with 6 other major ski resorts just 20-30 minutes away. In summer, it's all about the water and warm weather! We love to fly-fish, roast marshmallows, enjoy the riverside patio and firepit, and have b-b-q's in the backyard, along the Truckee River. Then, we take the boat and jet-ski's out to enjoy a day or weekend camping at one of the many local reservoirs. Boating on Lake Tahoe is also great way to enjoy the sun, water and many water-front restaurants! When it comes to shopping and dining, the little town of Truckee (just 10 minutes away) has it all, and Tahoe City is just a short 20 minute drive away. We have also made an investment in a generator that will automatically keep all the power on in the event of an outage.
