Una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, un bagno e doccia, cucina completamente attrezzata, soggiorno con divano letto queen size e stufa a gas Vermont Casting, lavanderia con lavatrice / asciugatrice. Disponiamo inoltre di un letto di lancio gemello commerciale disponibile.
L'appartamento è stato completamente ristrutturato nel 2016. C'è una TV a schermo piatto nel soggiorno e nella camera da letto con cavo, WiFi. C'è anche un pozzo del fuoco all'aperto e grill per il vostro relax e divertimento.

Questo accogliente appartamento di 4 camere e 1 bagno si trova in un ambiente boschivo privato, a soli 3 km dal centro di Lake Placid, 1 1/2 miglia da salti olimpici, a 5 miglia da mt. Van Hoevenberg, 8 miglia da Whiteface Mountain, e minuti dalla Jack rabbit Trail.
L'appartamento è molto ben tenuto. E 'al piano terra della nostra casa con ingresso indipendente e facile parcheggio fuori strada.

Awesome stay

Very comfortable place, feel like home away from home.Robert and Cheryl are wonderful people and Cheryl had everything you might need when traveling. Loved the little post it notes and snacks she left for us. Will stay there again for sure.

Highly recommend!

Rob and Cheryl keep this rental extremely clean. It was such a great time staying here - great neighborhood, close to LP, and great area for running. We definitely are going to rent this spot again in the future.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was my second time staying at Deerwood Haus and everything was just as perfect as it was the first time. The location is great and the apartment is extremely clean. Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and the many "extras " they provide make their place a very comfortable and welcoming getaway.

Beautiful house and enchanted place in the Adirondack mountains

Beautiful and very well maintained lower level of the house. Fully equipped with everything we needed and extremely clean. Our hosts were very nice and respectful. Will gladly come again next time we’re in the Adirondack mountains area and heart fully recommend this place.

Perfect mini getaway

We had such a great little trip to lake placid, and our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Loved all the amenities and details throughout the house, it really helped to make it feel like home. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly! We will definitely be coming back soon :)

Simply Perfect

We have stayed here several times and it is always wonderful. Chery and Robert are perfect hosts. Their attention to detail is always amazing. Their place is the perfect quiet getaway in Lake Placid for two people.

super enjoyable stay with lovely hosts

The hosts were really kind both before and during the stay. There was a huge attention to detail, both in the decor of the home and the way it has been maintained. There was a fridge and pantry and bathroom full of items for when we arrived, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Lovely location as well, couldn’t recommend enough !

Perfect in Placid

This is our favorite short term rental. Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. This is in a quiet location outside of town. This place is always spotless and has everything you could need. The hosts are easy to communicate with. I couldn't think of a single thing they could do to improve. We stay here every year and we will be back next year!

Very quiet setting, clean & comfortable. House had everything you needed. Hosts met us upon arrival. They were very nice and offered their assistance, if we needed anything. Would stay here again.

Comfortable in Lake Placid

We needed a comfortable place to stay in the Adirondacks so we could be rested for the next day's paddling adventures - and this rental provided it. We didn't expect the eggs and orange juice in the fridge and the vast selection of coffees. All good!

Wonderful find!

Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts who put so may thoughtful touches in everything: the décor is a very tasteful Adirondack theme and the house is so well stocked with everything you could need and them some (including snacks, breakfast items, etc.). Everything about the hosts, Bob and Cheryl, was everything I hope to find in a unit. Our stay was perfect. Everything in the unit was clean and very tastefully decorated. There were extras that we didn't anticipate. We loved every minute of being there and our hosts were the kindest of souls.

Host: Robert and Cheryl

We are both retired educators. Robert was the High School/Middle School Principal here in Lake Placid and Cheryl was an elementary teacher also in Lake Placid. In retirement we decided to remodel an apartment which is on the ground level of our home as a vacation rental for guests to enjoy the same beauty and activities of this wonderful town and mountains which we have enjoyed since 1988.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love this property as it is nestled in the woods, only 1 1/2 miles from NY RTE. 73. It gives us the quiet we want with all the activities we could possibly desire within only a few minutes from our door. Robert loves to ski so with Whiteface Mountain about 7 miles away he can jump in the car and be there within 15 minutes. I enjoy the cross country skiing more so our house is located in the perfect spot. There are several "free" cross country trails within 10 minutes from our door. Also Mt. Van Hoevenberg is only 5 miles down the road. Living in this Olympic Town gives us the opportunity to volunteer at many of the special events (including World Cup) which take place throughout the year.
When we want to go to a store or out to eat, it's only a 10 minute drive. Our home is only minutes from the route where the running portion of the Ironman takes place in July. We just walk to the end of our road (about 2 min.) and cheer for the Ironmen and Women. It is quite thrilling to watch the athletes complete the final portion of the race.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We have enjoyed improving and maintaining our home over the years we have lived here. We enjoy our gardens. They seem to expand each year, attracting many varieties of birds and wildlife. After an active day we often enjoy sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping our wine. It's our little piece of paradise.
