I've stayed at many rental homes, and this was one of my absolute FAVORITE! It was clean, comfortable, VERY well stocked, and perfectly located for exploring. The owners were easy to communicate with. We used a local Sunriver rafting service to pick us up with the provided kayaks and drop us off up the river. We had the best day kayaking to the rental and enjoying the Deschutes. We also explored Bend and Sisters (hiked to Sahali and Koosah falls and drove to Dee Wright Observatory) We loved having coffee on the huge deck each morning, and watching the deer graze. The only thing that would have made it better is if we would have actually CAUGHT a fish!

Loved our vacation!

Beautiful log cabin home located right on the Big Deschutes. This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love the home and the location. Owners are super nice and quick to respond.

What a heavenly place! We had intended to have one more with us, but it was MORE than spacious for four of us. The kitchen is incredible: well stocked, well designed, with all of the necessities. Really high quality stuff, too! The layout of the house is spectacular. You can open the shades to let in the light and get the most breathtaking views, or pull them down and experience a cooler, shady, relaxing vibe. We didn't communicate with the hosts because there was no need to! The backyard is perfect. Shady benches, easy access to the river. And so much wildlife! Deer, birds galore, otters. They left just enough information to guide our trip-- clear instructions for check in and check out, along with a binder of local stuff. Really a top notch place. We can't recommend it enough!

Amazing Stay! Family with young kids.

We had such a great time staying here! The location is perfect, right on a calm stretch of the river. Fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, including bikes (for kids too) and kayaks. The way the porch is designed makes it really family friendly even being that close to the water. Check in process and communication with the owners was smooth and easy. Definitely recommend, we look forward to going back!

Home is beautiful and immaculately clean. Owner is very helpful and has great communication. We enjoyed our stay and the lovely location being right on the river. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place!

Beautiful house with 3 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. Right on the river. We saw deer in the backyard every day and tried to catch a trout! One of the nicest places I've ever rented!

Excellent Vacation Home!

House is beautiful and FULLY amended! I took lots of utensils and stiff to cook with only to find everything was there! Enjoyed sitting in the water and floating. Watched the deer and fawns in the neighborhood. It was fabulous and we'd go again anytime!!!

Horse Competition

I took my granddaughter to her firs horse jumping competition in Bend and had a couple of other family members join. We had a fabulous time. Normings at the competition and afternoons on the river. The house had everything we needed and the nearby village was an added bonus.

Labor Day Weekend Kayak Trip

This beautiful cabin on the Deschutes River is all we needed for a relaxing weekend. River view is soothing. It rained on Friday so we stayed in played games, cooked and laughed a lot. But when the weather cleared up, we kayaked on the river several times. The cabin is as beautiful as pictured with plenty of space for everyone. The hosts were gracious and answered questions immediately. I would definitely recommend this place.

The house was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. Deer are frequent visitors and are relatively friendly especially if you feed them. It's so quiet and serene and the darkness at night allows you to see thousands of stars and many moving satellites.Check in and out is a breeze.Loved out stay.

The property is beautiful. The home has everything you need to enjoy your time. There was an issue with the dishwasher and Ron was on top of it. My family stays at multiple VRBRO a year and this home was our favorite!

Our stay

We loved the location and the access to the river, especially seeing the wildlife. It was a little odd that there were no steps from the deck straight out to the river. One thing I would suggest for the owners is to update the mattresses. We sank together in the middle of the bed.

On the River
