Vary nice porch area and the cabin was perfect. We enjoyed the views and fishing from the dock. The pool is also great with changing rooms. Overall it was a relaxing week in the mountains just what we needed.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. It is unusual to get to enjoy both the mountains and a beautiful pristine lake at the same time. The pool in the development was redone (I like to swim laps in the morning) and rivals any country club. Normally it is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day but is still open as the days are warm. Hope y’all return!

Mary's cabin was a life-saver; she was very gracious and fast communicating back and forth with. We had an issue with a rental from another site and needed a place to stay within short notice. Mary arranged for us to get in sooner than original check in time because of this. The drive up to the cabin is very peaceful and the location of the cabin on Lake Hiawassee is amazing! Place was immaculately clean when we arrived. It is very spacious for many people to stay and be comfortable. One of the best features is the screened in back porch area. We enjoyed hanging out there eating breakfast, enjoying nature, playing card games, and putting together a puzzle on the large table. Cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. Be aware that there is no cell signal up there but fast WiFi was provided at the cabin. It's a little bit of a drive from downtown Murphy so make sure to stock up on groceries before visiting. Be sure to drive a few miles up the road and visit Fields of the Wood. It's the largest display of the 10 Commandments. The Hiawassee Dam is nearby too so be sure to visit that location. We caught a wonderful sunset there while having a picnic. Mary gave some great suggestions to visit. One was Copperhill,TN. It's about a 40 min drive. It's a quaint mountain town with some cool restaurants and shops. Be sure to drive 20 more minutes down to Blue Ridge, GA. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and look forward to staying here again!

Great getaway

Cute rustic cabin with room for lots of people. Loved the private dock with direct access to the lake!The host was pleasant and responsive to questions via text.Had a great time with the kids and grandkids and would love to return!

We had a fantastic time. It is so enjoyable being on the lake. The house was clean, the owner was very responsive to any questions and we loved the floor plan. We kept all the adults upstairs and the kids on the first floor lol

Great girls getaway

Perfect for a mountain getaway. The area is a favorite of ours for escaping to the mountains and this house has all the cabin vibes we wanted. The huge screened in porch was why we picked it and it was everything we hoped for.

Lovely Family Getaway!

Staying at the lakehouse was a wonderful experience. Mary the host was great with details and communication. The house was lovely, super spacious, and the screened porches were a perfect dinner spot. An amazing time will book again.

Peaceful Relaxation

Our family enjoyed a short getaway to this mountain home. It was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The host was very responsive and informative. Would love to stay again.

Great cabin

We loved this cabin. Plenty of room, beautiful view, private dock, and two screened porches. The main level porch was our go to spot morning and evening. The owner clearly cares that her guests enjoy their stay.

Amazing location and cabin

Mary was great to work with. The cabin is stocked with everything. the pool table was a big hit but the best thing was the dock. We had an amazing 5 days there and hope to return.

So glad y’all had a good time.. One correction is that we do not have a pool table but a ping pong table on the downstairs porch. There is a gorgeous swimming pool in our gated community with plenty of outdoor seating including lounge chairs. Hope y’all return soon!

Excellent Mountain Adventure

Family Thanksgiving with 10 people, ages 23 and up. Communication was fantastic. Property was great, with plenty of room and amenities. Beautiful location - would definitely stay again.

great stay

we have stayed at this home several times and enjoyed it each time. location on the lake is amazing with a dock that is easy to access. the kitchen is small but all of the other features (many bathrooms, 2 living areas, 3 bathrooms, screened in deck) more than make up for that challenge. the pricing is affordable, the community pool is a bonus.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. There were plenty of rooms to gather in and lots of games and books for the children. Be sure to grocery shop before settling in for the night. We didn't realize how far the house was from town. I can only imagine how much fun visiting in the summer would be. Hopefully, we will do that soon.

I always try to find out where my guests will be coming from so as to share them location of the most convenient grocery store location on their way to the cabin. It’s about a twenty minute drive from the lake to the nearest grocery store (the marina keeps basics on hand). The Walmart in Mirphy will deliver as well.
